Ho cenato in questa trattoria e sono rimasto davvero colpito. L’ambiente è il perfetto punto d’incontro tra il curato e l'informale: l'atmosfera è accogliente e familiare, ma con un'attenzione particolare nei dettagli. Il servizio è stato impeccabile: il personale è molto gentile, preparato e pronto a consigliare il meglio del menù con il sorriso. Il vero protagonista è il cibo. Abbiamo provato piatti tipici valdostani e la qualità è eccellente. Sapori autentici, ingredienti freschi e porzioni generose che onorano la tradizione locale. Se cercate la vera cucina della Valle d'Aosta in un contesto piacevole e rilassato, questo è il posto giusto.

Perfect food and environment. The food and the wine were excellent also the deserts. We ordered all our plates to be locally sourced and we weren’t disappointed… This bread with nuts figs lard and honey it’s amazing, as it was the Doc polenta with cheese that comes with the ragu. I think it’s called Carbonata and not Carbonara. They were delicious..!! A reservation is required. Till the next time…!!!

We booked a wine tasting and a dinner separately, but due to circumstances we combined it. Reservation is recommended. The trattoria is a family business and serves local specialties. We went all out the Italian way with antipasto, primo, secundo and dolce. Each course accompanied with a local wine, with explanation from the head sommelier. The food was really good, staff was kind and punctual and English speaking .

Arrived towards the end of the lunch service, immediately given an outside table which was lovely in the shade. Amazing wine list, the menu has so many different choices - the local salad was simply amazing so fresh! The lasagna was delicious and light! Hopefully we get to go back before we leave the aosta valley

Incredible restaurant with delicious food and lovely staff. Recommend to book ahead as day before they only had the one table, but definitely worth it! We each ordered primi, secondi and dessert with wines hence the price but is reasonable for the quality and taste.

Calling this place a trattoria is a bit of a misnomer, and my experience and the other reviews I've read seem to reflect that. The restaurant is highly polished in execution - the staff are attentive without being intrusive, the food is very polished and done to a high standard (primi course was the absolute highlight, an extremely impressed table), and the wines are very well selected. The price does reflect this, however the portions were very generous supposing other reviews consider this place to be overpriced. If you're looking for a cost effective trattoria with simple and rustic food & wine, give this place a miss, but if you're after a premium restaurant that you would easily find the likes of in the top areas of London, Milan, NYC etc., this place is worth the stop.

This restaurant is amazing. The service is like a well-oiled machine - everyone has a role and the restaurant runs smoothly because of this. The food did not disappoint either and the dessert cart was GREAT! The only issue was the parking lot - it is extremely tight when the restaurant is in full swing and not easy to pull out of (even in a Fiat!)

Fantastic! The food was in every way just perfect and amazing. The quality is high, the service is excellent and the dessert wagon is a highlight. I recommend this restaurant to everyone who is in the Aosta valley. Don‘t forget to reserve ☝🏻

The same as this week last year, superb, flawless. The chefs in the kitchen are truly professionals, service in front of house, only a step behind. At the end of lunch today, I reserved for dinner tonight, too; same as last year. Magnificent food, quite good wine list.

We had three dishes to share amongst three people (the two pasta dishes and the polenta bomba) and they were perfect The house salad was delicious and the dessert trolley a must Definitely coming…

Ho provato il loro menú degustazione chiamato Il Percorso composto da antipasto, primo, secondo e dolce al costo di €53. Appetitoso l’antipasto con il loro pane dolce ed il lardo con miele, buono il primo, gnocchi erborinati con crema al Bleu d’Aosta e noci, non mi ha esaltato lo spezzatino con polenta forse perché non sono amante del sapore speziato dei chiodi di garofano. Il servizio buono, ma c’era un pò di agitazione per le persone degli altri tavoli che avevano scelto il menú con il tartufo d’Alba, quindi un pò discontinuo. Nel complesso consiglio la visita: si mangia bene ed il prezzo è in linea con altri ristoranti simili.

Ristorante comodo, facile da trovare. Personale molto competente, gentile e sollecito, anche simpatico se sorridesse un po' di più. Le materie prime sono eccellenti e la presentazione molto curata. Suggerisco di non perdere i gnocchetti con noci e Bleu d'Aoste. Grande scelta di vini e birre. I prezzi sono adeguati all'ambiente ma non certo popolari.

Ristorante alle porte di Aosta, non una semplice trattoria. Mi sono trovato bene nel complesso. Locale curato e personale gentile. L’unica pecca, probabilmente dovuta a una disattenzione, è stata quando ho ordinato un secondo calice di vino che però non è mai arrivato. Buona la cucina. Consiglierei soltanto di usare meno crema di Bleu d’Aoste sul filetto, perché copre totalmente il gusto della carne. Inoltre secondo me un pezzettino di dolce 9€ è esagerato.

Abbiamo mangiato qui un venerdì sera di metà Dicembre. Abbiamo ordinato due piatti e un dolce in due, più due calici di vino. I due piatti principali sono stati una polenta concia con salsiccia e carne e una polenta concia e faraona. Il primi dei due era buono, la faraona era salata. Il dolce era invece una torta alla ricotta buona, ma non eccellente (in particolare non abbiamo gradito la scelta di usare la pasta sfoglia invece della frolla) Il servizio è stato ottimo e professionale. La location è certamente frutto di un investimento serio da parte dei proprietari. Nel complesso avrei lasciato 4 stelle se non fosse che 80 euro mi sono sembrati fuori mercato, soprattutto considerando che il ristorante non è in un luogo esclusivo e la materia prima di base per i piatti scelti non è certamente preziosa.

Beautiful place with convenient parking. Friendly staffs with no English issue. Spacious and clean. Service was great where staffs make sure the portion were shared as we requested. Food were hit and miss. I was impressed with the blue cheese gnocchi, highly recommended, good for sharing. The lamp chop with mashed potato were a bit unexpected, especially that the lamp chop were deep fried in cheese coating. Not exactly to our asian palatte. Grilled trout had really flavourful almond sauce and I love it if I wasn so full from the gnocchi 🥹. For asians, as the food portion were quite big, recommend to order moderately. Staying at a partner hotel, we were given 10% discount. Then there was option to give compulsory 3%-20% tips/service charge at the end. This place was open on Monday evening, not very crowded.

Menù invitante e qualità del cibo più che apprezzabile, un po’ cari i fuori menù, che rispetto alla descrizione a parole del personale riportavano più il ricordo di certi sapori che l’effettiva esperienza. Il responsabile di sala alquanto distaccato e scortese, soprattutto con il suo staff, al quale dava indicazioni sul servizio con toni non consoni al suo ruolo. Degne di nota invece la Sommelier e la ragazza addetta ai dolci, sorridenti, educate, preparate. L’ambiente carino ma la sensazione è di un’atmosfera poco accogliente fin dall’inizio, che purtroppo ha pregiudicato la serata.

We had lunch there, with a very disappointing experience. First of all the main "maitre d'hotes" was just plain rude, impatient, disrespectful. Yes, I agree that my Italian is not the best, but being a client who pays the bills I expect to be treated properly. The food was reasonable, though I find it minimalistic with for example the grilled fish served with four small boiled carrots... that's it, can't the Chef think of something more creative? We will not go back there...

Una serata gradevole guastata dalla mancanza di empatia e professionalità del proprietario/responsabile di sala, preoccupato solo di proporti i piatti fuori menù con una freddezza e un distacco che denotano più un fastidioso dovere quotidiano che il piacere di fare il ristoratore. Ci ha subito classificati quando ci ha visto entrare con la giacca da sci, e trattati con elegante disprezzo quando abbiamo chiesto un consiglio su un vino più vicino al nostro budget. La richiesta di poter dividere il conto per le due famiglie ha generato ancora più scortesia e mancanza di rispetto. Quando scegli di fare il ristoratore devi saper gestire tutti gli ospiti del tuo ristorante in modo professionale, senza farli sentire fuori luogo e trovando il modo, sempre, di ringraziarli per averti scelto fra centinaia di altre possibilità. Perché quando torneranno a sciare nella tua valle, altro bel motivo per essere un po’ cordiali, può tornarti utile che abbiano un motivo in più per ricordarsi di te. Non sarà questo il caso.

Pretentious wine list with no real depth and overpriced for the area and type of menu. Food quality and service are scarce. The deer in the recommended stew was very dry. We were charged full price on dishes that were reported as half portion. This place is overrated.previous five stars are definitely friends and family reporting.
