Dixie Dog Drive In

I came here the first time a year ago to try out my husband‘s nostalgic food place, and it changed my very soul. I never thought I could love a corn dog more than ever before. Yes, we come back to see family to visit and so my husband can come home every now and then But we make sure that each time we come we stop here to get a Dixie dog. I’m currently pregnant and just had three and I’m devastated that they’re already gone.

Food was very good. Home cooked feel Average prices. Plenty of parking. Friendly atmosphere

Nothing beats The Dog!!! Very popular with the locals. My husband is from Perryton so of course our first trip out together to meet and visit with his family he took me to Dixie Dog ... And I've been a fan ever since! Their burgers are juicy and full of flavor! The fries are to die for, onion rings are huge, and the corn dogs are delicious! DH really likes the Ocean Water. This is a family-owned business and it's reflected within, in every aspect, so don't go expecting more than a Mom & Pop place! Definitely one for Guy Ferrari to do for his DDD show!

This place was a favorite growing up. Great place for a greasy burger fix. The chili cheese tots are so yummy. That being said my body doesn't like it much anymore but if your young or used to unhealthy grease its awesome.

Food is good but it’s WAY overpriced. 2 burgers was almost $20 and they aren’t combo meals. Fries and a drink are extra. Had we gotten a whole meal, it would’ve been close to $35. Paid the same price for food in Las Vegas last month. Also, the building could use a makeover. Charging these prices, I’d assume the funds are available for it.

This was not a good experience. The place did not feel clean, the floors were sticky, although there was only one customer, we only found one table that did not have crumbs and food still on it. My Dixiedog corndog was pretty good. But my wife's burger looked like someone stepped on it. The bun was smashed to about a 1/4 inch thick. Her onion rings were so fried up that I made a joke about how loud they crunched. We will not go back.
