Sono stato qualche giorno fa da StarChicken a provare gli speziatissimi hamburger gourmet: il menu hamburger veniva 13,90€, 200g di chianina che urlavano "mangiami!" che sicuramente non lasciano spazio ad altra fame (patatine incluse ovviamente). Immagino che la coppia di signori che lavorano lì siano i proprietari: una dolcissima e genuina coppietta anziana in stile "pensione Pokémon", i quali rendono un ristorante fast food un ambiente caloroso ed accogliente, in cui poter passare del tempo in buona compagnia! A prova di ciò la cura nei dettagli per il delivery: su una bustina dei prodotti da me ordinati hanno scritto a mano "Grazie per averci scelto!". Da allora cliente abituale!

Buonissimo, dei maghi del pollo fritto.. Tornerei a Firenze (anche se vengo dal Veneto) per mangiare di nuovo qui. Prezzi ottimi e personale molto disponibile e cordiale! Molto consigliato

Per me in assoluto il miglior pollo fritto provato a Firenze! Essendo in una posizione abbastanza nascosta solitamente non si trova casino, quindi per me è un plus. In più, tutte le volte che sono andata, mi hanno sempre offerto un piccolo coccolo nell’attesa del mio ordine. Il personale disponibile e gentile! Consiglio vivamente

Una piacevole sorpresa! Abbiamo trovato questo posto per caso oggi a pranzo. In due abbiamo speso 19 euro prendendo un secchiello misto per due persone, una porzione di coccoli, una di verdure fritte, due bibite e le salse. Direi che la spesa è più che ottima considerando che abbiamo mangiato davvero molto! Il pollo era strepitoso, croccantissimo fuori e succoso dentro, era bollente anche al cuore, cotto alla perfezione. I coccoli buoni, le verdure poco salate. Ho apprezzato molto che nel servizio forniscono anche un guanto per non sporcarsi le mani. Tornerò sicuramente!

Ambiente carino pollo fritto preparato espresso ottimo e personale simpatico...ci siamo stati di fretta ma ritorneremo presto!

Do not miss Star Chicken!!! My husband and I stumbled upon Star Chicken in 2015 shortly after it opened, and he mentioned it at least twice a month for the next ten years... We finally returned today and it was as incredible as ever. Juicy, crispy, and fresh with generous portions, it did not disappoint. There is something about the breading that exceeds any other fried chicken we've had, plus the homemade sauces are all amazing. Grazie Star Chicken, a fried chicken institution.

My spouse and I were so glad we decided to stop by Starchicken Gourmet for some fried chicken. It turned out to be the perfect choice for dinner! The staff were incredibly patient and understanding, especially since we had some trouble with Italian. The fried chicken was juicy, tender, and freshly cooked with flavorful seasonings, and the fries were perfectly crispy and hot. I highly recommend Starchicken Gourmet to both tourists and locals, it’s definitely worth a visit!

Such a wonderful experience, the manager is SUPER friendly and the food is absolutely delicious. I wish I lived in Florence so that I could come more often. I highly recommend stopping here in between a busy day out on the town.

We immediately loved Star Chicken Gourmet because the owner, who took our order, was so patient and kind in explaining the menu to us. As foreigners in Italy, that type of personable interaction isn’t always guaranteed, and he made us feel very welcome. Now onto the food. The chicken pieces were massive and contained so much juicy meat! We split the 6pc chicken + fries + salad + 2 drinks combo between two people. The chicken batter seasoning is so delicious on its own, but if you are a sauce person, they have a variety of homemade flavors to choose from. The StarChicken and bbq were the perfect combination of sweet and tangy. It does take some time to prepare your meal, but that’s because everything is made from scratch. I saw the chefs preparing the individual ingredients for my salad, from the shaved carrots to the sliced tomatoes. They also brought out a complimentary fried dough ball sample for us to try while we waited. Overall, very tasty, fresh, and affordable! We would have absolutely returned for another meal if we weren’t leaving the city so soon.

As Canadians, we have fried chicken a lot back home, so while visiting Italy, we were craving some since a lot of Italian food does not contain full pieces of meat. Wow! This place was AMAZING. Made on the spot for you (about 20 min wait), fresh and hot! Juicy and large pieces. Seasoning was perfect.

It’s a cute little place and very affordable. The staff were incredibly kind, we are American and they didn’t speak much English (and we didn’t speak much Italian) and they were still so accommodating. The food was super good as well. Had a great time!!

Found this gem on google. Hidden off the main tourist path. Lady didn’t speak English but we pointed at the menu without problems. Lovely chicken and great vibe. Lady offered guests dough balls while we waited.. good food good prices.

Fried to order so it's fresh! Well worth the wait (15 mins) 👍👍👍👍👍 Wonderfully crispy batter and moist on the inside. Italian chickens used, think fresh not frozen as no blood on the bones. So good you can eat them as is without any condiments. Fries are good too. Great Value especially with combo set of drink and fries at 3euro. Everywhere in Florence soft drinks are 3 euro minimum. FYI "Wings" menu - either the drumlet or midwing parts are counted as 1 piece. "Pollo" menu -Drumstick or breast is given equally. Clean premises, airconditioned. Clean toilet Very friendly couple owner and their staff. Italian owned. Many locals order for takeaway, not touristy. Will miss this place out of everything in Florence! ❤❤❤

To all chicken lovers: don‘t miss this place! You will have to wait a little after ordering, but the freshness of their wings are worth the wait. Receiving this kind of quality for the little prize given almost feels like robbery. You can enjoy the chicken in almost 6 different housemade sauces and the owners are two lovely and gentle souls.

I have to agree with other reviews, this is not really a fast food, even though they make fast food style food. Staff is polite and accommodating, they take their time to cook but it's really worth the wait. The prices are fair. Gravy is the best I've ever tried before, much better than KFC's one or any other I tried in 4 years in UK. Good solution if you are craving fried chicken and want to save some money.

Amazing food! The order takes a while but they cook it up fresh. The chicken burger is perfectly juicy and flavourful and the batter on the fried chicken is perfect. A great change up from the overwhelming amount of pasta and pizza on our trip. For some travellers there is a bit of a language barrier but the staff are very friendly to get your order correct and make sure you are comfortable. Worth going out of your way for this gem.

Non aspettatevi un fast food! Il pollo e le verdure fritte sono croccanti e non unte, viene preparato tutto al momento con materia prima fresca quindi non abbiate fretta, ma l'attesa vi ripagherà!

It seems that it is a family run restaurant. Chikens are delicious but fattier than normal fast food. Orders should be taken by somebody who speaks English. I wanted wings it was mixed with drums and sandwich wasn't delicious. I'd say not bad but neither super good.
