Absolutely delicious seafood right on the coast. Javier was a great waiter and the staff overall was very friendly. We did not have any wine so I can not speak on that, however the food was absolutely delicious and the service was perfect especially considering how busy it was.

This restaurant is located right on the beach! The food is the best food I have had in Italy! My friends and I got the stuffed mussels, pesto pasta, and the seafood pasta! All was delicious! The staff were so welcoming and friendly, Leo and Max especially!

Buonissimi piatti della tradizione ligure. Il servizio è stato molto veloce e il personale gentile e disponibile. Bella la posizione sulla piazzetta affacciata al porticciolo di Vernazza.

Si trova nella piazza, quindi location top. Servizio veloce nonostante il locale fosse pieno, cibo buono vale la pena di fare una sosta.

La camera è ristrutturata e bella, comoda. Solo il bagno davvero piccolo, lavandino mini, impossibile lavarsi il viso! La posizione è comoda sia della stanza che della taverna, che affaccia direttamente sulla baia. Cibo buono, giusto rapporto qualità prezzo, servizio ottimo!! Super gentili!

Era un pranzo prenotato da diverse settimane per un gruppo e quindi avremmo dovuto stare all'interno, ma dato che era pieno ci hanno sistemato fuori, con l'inconveniente della temperatura non proprio mite e quindi abbiamo pranzato con i piumini e cappotti addosso. Poi il servizio è stato molto buono e la qualità del pranzo molto buona.

Lovely location on the plaza overlooking the beach and harbor. Great sunset while enjoying dinner. Enjoyed our food, but know that some of the seafood dishes, like prawns, come in their shells so you will need to work at dinner. I heard this so chose the fish roasted with potatoes in the oven. Was very good. Price is about same as everywhere.

Had lunch here and the food was great. Had the octopus salad, the seafood pasta the grilled seafood and a couple apps... I understand the other comments about the service etc.. I'm not sure if that's just an Italian thing or the fact that this place is in the centre of all the tourist activity... but the servers were short and always rushing around while halfway listening to your questions or orders... but I would definitely go back... lastly I forgot my backpack by accident and when I went back they had kept it safe for me...

In definitiva, sebbene possa dare l’impressione di essere un ristorante orientato al turismo, resta comunque una tappa valida per chi cerca un pasto in un’atmosfera rilassante e con una vista spettacolare, anche se potrebbe non soddisfare i palati più esigenti alla ricerca di sapori autentici o meno turistici.

Le 3 stelle sono una media tra il cibo mangiato al ristorante ed il soggiorno effettuato nelle loro camere. Queste ultime devo dire che sono molto spaziose e soprattutto hanno dei bagni puliti e da poco arredati a nuovo perciò li consiglio pienamente. Per quanto riguarda il ristorante: Il costo è nella media di Vernazza, tuttavia devo ammettere che le portate sono veramente abbondanti oltre che molto buone (assaggiato i pansoti alle noci e la pasta allo scoglio). Unica nota dolente, per la quale avrebbero meritato senz'altro 2 stelle è stata l'attesa; siamo arrivati assieme ad una coppia e praticamente abbiamo ordinato assieme, ma quando questi stavamo mangiando e finendo il secondo piatto, a noi doveva ancora arrivarci il primo. 45 minuti di attesa nella quale con molta probabilità si erano scordati di noi e la cosa che più mi ha infastidito è il fatto che a tratti vi fossero ben 3 camerieri fermi nella porta a guardare se tutti i tavoli fossero apposto, e molte occhiate ce le hanno date anche al nostro di tavolo (facendomi pensare che sapessero dovesse ancora arrivarmi il cibo, cosa che a quanto pare non avevano notato). Alla fine ci hanno portato i piatti solamente dopo che sono andato a chiedere se il pesce fossero andati a pescarlo o che altro. In definitiva: CIBO BUONO E MOLTO ABBONDANTE, SOGGIORNO CON CAMERE AMPIE E BEN CURATE. ATTENZIONE AL PERSONALE! Un omaciotto simpatico corre dappertutto, serve e pulisce tutti i tavoli, ma gli altri 3 potrebbero fare di meglio.

This review is only for the restaurant. We were immediately greeted and chose a table outside with a view. Everything else was closed on a cold holiday afternoon in January, so despite the bad reviews, we chose to eat here. Staff were cordial, and no one was rude; however, there was only one other customer sitting outside with us. There wasn’t a lot of choice on the menu, and the linguine with crab for €16 sounded good, so I ordered that and a glass of white wine for €6. We were given a brown paper bag with bread inside it (see pic), and because I’d read reviews, I asked whether the bread was extra, and was told that the bread was included in the cover charge of €2.50 per person. The reviews stating the bread is stale were correct; the dry bread was inedible, and we weren’t given anything to go with it. I gave a little bit to the pigeons walking around our table, and they thoroughly enjoyed it. I was extremely disappointed when my meal arrived. A plate of pasta (I can’t tell you the flavor of the sauce) with several small crabs on top and below, with nothing to crack open the shell! I asked the waiter how I was supposed to crack the crabs open, and he brought me a plate with 2 wipes and a seafood cracker, but no seafood pick. This would have worked if the crabs on my pasta were larger and not so rubbery, but I ended up having to use my fingers and fingernails to extract the crab meat and place it on my pasta (a seafood pick would have been nice.) My hands were absolutely filthy & cold, and my pasta was cold by the time I finished fighting with the crabs. My suggestion to the restaurant would be to serve only the crab meat on the pasta instead of serving the crabs whole, so the guest can enjoy their pasta. My pasta and wine were fine. They served the purpose of filling my stomach on a very cold day. The bathroom, however, was disgusting. I hope they clean it more often during high season!

Location was lovely because it was right by the harbor; however, the outdoor seating was very cramped. We had to keep shifting around and moving our chairs whenever someone wanted to pass through. I had the Crab Linguini and while it tasted great, it was a bit hard to eat because they had cracked the crab so much that little shell pieces were scattered all throughout the pasta. I kept spitting out shell pieces during my meal. My partner ordered the pomodoro and it was really good. Overall, the restaurant was good if not a bit overpriced, though we already expected that given how it was in the middle of a very touristy area.

Very average service and food quality for the prices they offer and Italy overall. Disappointed :( I had linguine with crab (€15), but there were crab shells/small legs instead of the actual crab .. Seafood platter was okay (€22)..Nothing stands out apart from the location. Service was okay, i was expecting more from the restaurant at such a beautiful location. Very tourists oriented. Wasn’t a highlight of a trip to Vernazza for sure.

Ristorante molto turistico nel cuore di Vernazza, ma andiamo con ordine. Location: la posizione del ristorante è ottima, nel cuore di Vernazza. Il grande difetto è che la piazza è inclinata verso il mare, e il ristorante non ha una pedana ma è direttamente sulla piazza. Il risultato è che le sedie, peraltro di bassa qualità, risultano scomodissime. Siamo tornati a casa con un forte mal di schiena, e tenete conto che siamo un gruppo di ragazzi giovani con circa 25 anni. I brutti tavolini traballavano non tanto per l'irregolarità del terreno, ma per la scarsissima qualità degli stessi. Un vero peccato, perché basterebbe mettere una pedana livellata e dei tavoli e sedie decenti per risolvere il problema. Menù: il menù offre una discreta gamma di piatti a base di pesce, come da aspettative. Gli antipasti erano anch'essi discreti, ma niente di particolare. Buono il tris di acciughe di Monterosso, anche se il condimento ha ammazzato il delicato sapore di questo piatto tipico. Acciughe al limone con troppo limone, e fritto troppo salato, ma buono. Capesante buone. I tagliolini all'astice erano buoni, ma il sapore era un po' di piatto di pesce generico e l'astice era stracotto. Se cercate gusti particolari potreste rimanere delusi. Da segnalare invece un pessimo spaghetto allo scoglio completamente scotto. Non abbiamo mandato indietro il piatto solo perché era tardi ed eravamo affamati, ma il piatto era proprio sbagliato. Dimensione delle porzioni abbondante e soddisfacente. Servizio: il ristorante offre un servizio gentile, con camerieri discreti e piacevoli, anche se approssimativi. Il nostro tavolo aveva una fastidiosa luce che puntava direttamente negli occhi di parte di noi e i camerieri hanno cortesemente cercato una soluzione, anche se il problema era evitabile a priori. Conto: il conto rispecchia più la posizione che la qualità dell'offerta nel suo complesso, caro per menù e qualità del locale, ma non ci aspettavamo di meno vista la posizione. Ci tornerei? Purtroppo no

Solita trappola da turisti, lo sapevamo ma non ci aspettavamo un livello così basso. Abbiamo ordinato l'orata, era meglio in una mensa. L'unica nota positiva é la vista.

Ho mangiato bene, ottime le linguine con granchio. La persona che mi ha servito era frettolosa in modo maleducato, non avevo ancora letto la carta dei vini e ha deciso lui che vino dovevo bere, mi ha portato lo scontrino dicendo che dovevo liberare il tavolo. Guarda caso i turisti stranieri accanto a me da prima che arrivassi erano ancora lì e a loro non metteva fretta...all'italiana come al solito...ho viaggiato a febbraio, non oso immaginare in alta stagione!

Abbiamo cenato in questo posto casualmente, non avendo trovato un altro locale con disponibilità. L’ambiente esterno è accogliente e i tavoli apparecchiati bene. Purtroppo però non abbiamo mangiato benissimo. Sul menu era scritto “Orata al forno” e me ne hanno servita mezza con poco contorno. Il Polpo con patate era poco saporito e il fritto di pesce non era croccante, nonchè in porzione ristretta. Il costo è eccessivo in relazione alla qualità del cibo. Lo lascerei ai turisti stranieri.

Review sul il ristorante, non sull’hotel. Abbiamo preso spaghetti allo scoglio, ma la pasta non era un granché e non al dente. Il servizio povero. Non troppo costoso per la location, ma per la qualità del piatto si.

Un posto dove manca l'umanità non ispira il mangiare. Mia figlia aveva un disperato bisogno di andare in bagno, così ho chiesto al cameriere se potevo entrare, ma lui ha rifiutato, dicendomi che il bagno era riservato ai clienti. Soltanto l’ho detto che veneva de perdere una cliente. Aver negato un favore così elementare a una bimba mi porta a rifiutare categoricamente qualsiasi tipo di servizio da parte di questo ristorante. Difficilmente faccio recensioni, soprattutto sé negative. Di per sé il luogo é bello, si affaccia sulla piazzetta del porto ed é molto caratteristico. Purtroppo però abbiamo mangiato davvero male, pagando sui 15€ circa a piatto. Trofie al pesto completamente insipide e acide per via del sugo di cattiva qualità. Spaghetti allo scoglio che fondamentalmente sanno di pomodoro perché cozze e vongole non sapevano di nulla, probabilmente surgelate, il tutto annegato nell'olio. Fin troppo turistico, mascherato molto male. Non lo consiglio assolutamente.

Penso sia stata una delle peggiori esperienze che ho avuto in un ristorante sia come servizio che come qualità del cibo. Servizio pessimo: il cameriere era scortese e assolutamente non professionale. Abbiamo dovuto chiedere tre volte che ci portasse il pane e la glacette per il vino e quando finalmente è arrivato al nostro tavolo invece del pane ci ha portato un'altra bottiglia d'acqua! Tra l'antipasto e il primo non ci ha nemmeno sparecchiato, quindi quando sono arrivati i primi avevamo ancora sul tavolo tutti i piatti dell'antipasto e glieli abbiamo dovuti passare mentre lui ci dava i primi. La qualità del pesce e delle preparazioni era assolutamente scadente. L'antipasto del capitano da 25 euro era pessimo ma peggio ancora i primi. I paccheri agli scampi erano semplicemente pasta al pomodoro. Non avevano il MINIMO sapore di pesce e anche gli spaghetti ai frutti di mare non erano assolutamente buoni. Aver speso oltre 90 euro per queste porcherie e con questo servizio è stato un furto, ma peggio ancora è stato il fatto che durante la notte mi sono anche sentito male per la pessima qualità del pesce. Assolutamente sconsigliato!

Fritto del pesce mencio, scarso, gommoso, tristissimo, per quasi 20€. Risparmiate e andate direttamente alla friggitoria che probabilmente ha tutto surgelato lo stesso ma costa la metà ed è più buono e te lo mangi per strada. Peccato che una cucina così pessima abbia un punto proprio principale in piazza sul mare…

Riuscire a trovare un luogo inospitale e dove mangiare il peggior piatto di spaghetti allo scoglio, fatto! Lasciamo stare il servizio e l’accoglienza (credevo fosse finita l’era dei liguri inospitali, invece mi sbagliavo) ma il cibo è davvero pessimo. Eppure è un posto difficile da raggiungere, bisogna lasciare l’auto ad oltre un chilometro di distanza, quindi mi aspettavo di essere ripagata almeno con una buona accoglienza (data la prenotazione) e del buon cibo, ma nessuna delle mie aspettative è stata soddisfatta. After the long walk from Monterosso we were desperate for a drink. The guy lounging in the door pointed us to a table where we waited… and waited. Servers simply ignored our calls for something, anything to drink. They hate you . Stay away.

A pity about the location, which is superb. The waiters serve you with disdain. They don’t pay attention to the order in which they bring the dishes. If you order both a main course and a dessert, you’ll most likely end up getting the dessert first. It’s worth looking for more secluded places if you want to eat well. These overcrowded ones are focused on money rather than the quality of the services they provide

My flight was canceled because of the war in my country, and I informed them 10 days in advance that I couldn’t come. Instead of showing understanding, they refused to refund me. This proves how unprofessional, inconsiderate, and disrespectful the hotel is toward its guests. Definitely the worst hotel I have ever seen.

Me and my friend ate here. We get seated and they set the table then they ask us to move because a 5-person group show up, sure but we have to move everything so we basically set our own table. Then its time to order, we order one seafood spaghetti and one pesto pasta, they take the big groups order at the same time. The group gets their food and drinks, we havnt gotten anything. They ask if we ordered water, no, two glasses of wine. We get the wine. The group beside us has basically finished their food and they ask again, what did we order? We repeat. It has now been 40 minutes or more since we ordered. Another couple is seated beside us, they take some time then they order, we get our food at the same time as the couple, and the group is getting up to leave, thats how long it took. The food was okay, until I find a plastic piece in my food(pesto pasta) as big as a pinky nail. I tell the server, he thinks it was in the cheese that was for the pesto, I tell him no, I didn’t use any cheese, he takes the cheese away. I didn’t eat anymore of the food and they only good thing was that I didn’t have to pay for the pesto.

Came here for lunch, unfortunately we didn’t read the reviews till we sat down but hoped for the best. Two crab linguine meals and a pesto pasta were ordered. The crab is all in shells, in pasta sauce, so getting tiny bit of meat out is a joke. All the tiny legs had basically no meat in them. The server was rude and eventually came by and gave us one thing to break the shell of the crabs open. Super disappointed with this place.

Don’t come here. The only reason my family and I came here was because it was late and one of the only places open. The food was hot and that’s all I can positively say. The service was terrible. The food was mediocre. And if you can see in the picture. The water bottle they served us was dirty and contained mold or something else. Clearly they reuse old bottles and fill them with tap water. If you come to Vernazza there are plenty of good places to eat. Just go earlier and avoid places like these. You aren’t missing anything.

Had the mix seafood platter and the crab tagliatelle. Mixed seafood was average and poorly presented and the crab was cracked with crab shell all in the tagliatelle, couldn't eat a bite without biting into a shell. With chips and a kids meal, it came to 75 Euro. Dont have issues paying more in places as scenic as this, but this was by far worst food I have had in Italy.

Horrible. We ordered food with my friends and one previously bought fish and chips so she brought it along to the restaurant. Just because of that they looked at us like low-lives and served us very poorly. My friend ordered “spaghetti with seafood” and we asked if there will be shrimps in it, they said yes. The only seafood we saw were clams and moussels. PLUS, the whole time they were just staring at us like we cursed their families by ONE of us bringing fish & chips to the table.
