The place is very nice, even the outside area is beautiful in the evening because you can enjoy the very charming Piazza di Appiano. But the best part is the cocktails and Lidia's friendliness, who with great professionalism and kindness always manages to captivate you and ensure you have a wonderful evening.

I come to Appiano once a month for business, and after trying them all, I now only go here. The place is elegant, the staff is young and friendly, and the gelato is homemade and delicious. The gelato is made in the lab visible from the counter, so anyone who says (actually, only one review among the many positive ones says so) that the gelato is factory-made either doesn't know anything about gelato or owns another café in the area. If you're in good company, I recommend the very elegant first room (behind the counter) or the veranda at the back. The renovation (underway) of Piazza della Libertà, with its high-quality flooring, will make my future visits even more pleasant. Update as of September 30, 2021: It's been 4 years since my review, and right now I'm enjoying a delicious porcini mushroom risotto and green pepper fillet—I can't believe it—sitting next to the beautiful Church of Appiano, under a large umbrella. The little tiles I was talking about are finished. The square is very welcoming with very wide sidewalks suitable for children. All the places have tables outside, and here at Cecchinett they now even serve food. There's a new kitchen, a very talented chef, a pastry chef who makes fresh desserts every day. Everything has really changed. Congratulations! All the girls are now very kind and friendly, all of them live in the village. If it continues like this, I won't know what to write in the next review. They told me there will be many more, much more radical changes within 8 months, but I don't know what they're doing? A car wash like this, and while you're having dinner, you find your car washed under the tunnel? GREAT! Growth in this period is not a given. Ho mangiato la brioche cioccolato e pere ed è la più buona che io abbia mai mangiato. Posto pulito personale sorridente e cordiale consigliatissimo!

Locale carino, camerieri gentili e disponibile e ottimo tagliere aperitivi. Ci torniamo spesso e ci troviamo sempre molto bene. Consigliato

This pastry shop is located in a very central area of ​​Appiano Gentile. Its plus point is the truly spacious interior. I had a quick coffee before attending the religious service. The atmosphere was very welcoming, the staff were friendly. Recommended!

I've been going to this bar for many years every morning for a good breakfast. But today we're at rock bottom... The coffee isn't very good, the brioche is ok. Every other day, the girl doesn't even smile, not even when paying for it, and her manner was very arrogant this morning. Not to mention the girl who's been working there for a while, always full of problems, unhappy behind the counter, you can see it in her eyes. The coffee is good when she wants it. I hope you'll fix this shortcoming. First of all, I'm not a regular here in the evening, but from local rumor, there's a lot of professionalism. Use it in the morning too to make our customers' day better. Thank you, and we hope for a change.

We were passing through on a Saturday afternoon with a couple of friends, and we decided to take them here for a snack/aperitivo after seeing their social media page, where it looked really nice. We entered and found ourselves in front of a typical village bar full of tipsy people, a strong smell of smoke, and the dessert counter (biscuits and pastries) was practically empty...only two measly biscuits were present. The bartender invited us to sit in the other room...we trusted her, and we ordered coffees, and not much else...honestly, we were embarrassed with our friends and got up after a short while! I will definitely not be going back!!!
