A trattoria in such a convenient location, yet so reasonably priced that for €13 you'll get a generously portioned first and second course. I went there last May, unplanned but a bargain, as they say. My mother and I had gone to another restaurant that was closed, so we decided to stroll down the street before finding ourselves in front of this restaurant's window, where we were immediately dozed off. Well, you know by now that I always try to be impartial in my criticism, but I have a weakness for minimalist, short, and concise menus and restaurants, and with these three words I think I can perfectly describe this trattoria: a black-and-white menu with four appetizers, three first courses, and three second courses, with the prices clearly displayed. As for the taste, well, I'd say look at the photos and judge for yourself! But that way, you wouldn't be able to appreciate the sublime flavor of the dishes. For my first course, I ordered rigatoni with ragù, and what can I say? The pasta was perfectly cooked, the plating so controlled and balanced, it looked like a Mondrian painting, red on white. The second course, at first glance, seemed like poetry. The composition of the dish, so controlled and precise in its colors, reminded me of Frank Stella's paintings. Few colors, but capable of conveying an infinite number of sensations, not to mention the flavor that with every bite captivated your taste buds, transporting you to a state of semi-consciousness, as childishly described in the film Rattaoutille. This trattoria is definitely a must-see among the vast array of restaurants in Turin, and it's one of my favorites. See you soon, not goodbye, because I'll be back!

This was a favorite for us in Torino! Kind staff and great food, felt like a fairly local place, kind of located off the centro a bit. We had the vitello tonnato and it was the best I've had hands down (the sauce was the most flavorful), the agnolotti, tomalini, and apple tart. All fantastic. Very affordable too, compared to what we're used to in Rome. Put this on your list!

I come to Turin often for my passion (soccer), but I'd never been here. Simply everything was perfect... Service, quality, tradition, and some dishes that nod to other culinary cultures. All at affordable prices. On my next trip, I'll look for a place/hotel no more than 150 meters from the Nizza stop. PS. I tend to hate gorgonzola, but I wanted to give their second walnut, leek, and gorgonzola cheesecake a try... TOP!!!

Great service, friendly staff, good wine, and fantastic homely meals. The menu is varied and has excellent vegetarian options. Very good pricing for simple and high-quality food. Whenever I'm in Turin, I always end up coming back here.
