A new twist to sushi, in a creative space in the shopping mall. We ordered the following things for 3 persons: 1) carnival (9/10) 2 ceviche (8/10) 3) some sushi rolls (8.7/10) You could taste that the fish was very fresh, and despite that we had to wait a bit on the good, I would go again!

I cannot recommend this restaurant eniugh. Not only because of the food quality and the fresh looking restaurant decor, but also and very importantly this has been one of the best customer service experiences I've had in my life. Excellent fusion food, a Brazilian-Japanese restaurant offering different makis, fish and meat tartare, burritos and delicious cocktails. The food was top-notch. I had the flambé sashimi and the exotic sahimi, which was particularly outstanding, and my sister had the veggie maki and veggie burrito. The portions were fine and well-presented. We weren't even able to finish everything and asked for a doggy bag for the burrito! We had mocktails to drink as it was an extremely hot day. We spend around £65 in total and it was well worth it. I'm currently having to limit my food choices due to a few temporary intolerances, and arguably going to maki place when I can't eat rice (among other things) wasn't the best choice. However, the waiter who served us was not only professional but also extremely patient and friendly. I felt understood and accepted, while oftentimes these days I've had negative experiences in other restaurants whenever I shared about my intolerances (e.g. waiters rolling their eyes, not offering alternatives, putting on a passive aggressive attitude like I was giving them a hard time on purpose). Emanuela not only empathised and spend time with us looking through the menu to find suitable options, she also went to the chef to get their professional opinion, came back with more options, and all this while we were at the peak of lunchtime, she had lots of other tables to tend to, and was working under a 40°C sun, as we were seated outside. Even so, she never seemed to lose her kind tone and smile. After we finalised our order, which included lots of changes to most if the recipes we chose, she came back with drinks and offered to move us inside the restaurant as our table was now directly under the scorching sun. She mobilitated her colleagues indoors who were able to find us a table fairly quickly given how busy it was! The team inside were lovely and friendly too and the host (manager?) was also there to support us with kindness. I was really impressed by their synergy and good energy, especially at peak hour! They seemed a very strong team indeed with a positive attitude, which is so important to a customer's experience. Well done to all of you and thank you for bearing with us! I'll definitely go back as soon as I have the chance and have already started recommending Bomaki to all my friends. Booking strongly recommended too as it gets very busy - they do maintain Covid-19.safe distances of course.

Plenty of different shops on the floor level. First level is filled with a big variety of restaurants serving food from different areas. Lots of parking spaces with the offer of two hours free parking.

Great sushi with a creative modern twist. The prices might seem a bit higher than the rest of the restaurants in the shopping centre but the food is very filling and the portions are quite generous.

Ristorante di sushi nel centro commerciale di CityLife, adatto davvero a tutte le fasce d’età: famiglie, coppie, gruppi di amici e anche colleghi di lavoro. L’ambiente è informale e accessibile, perfetto anche per una pausa o una cena senza troppe formalità. Il sushi è buono, con un rapporto qualità-prezzo corretto. Nota di merito al proprietario, molto simpatico e accogliente, che ci ha anche offerto da bere. Un posto tranquillo e versatile, ideale per diverse occasioni.

Bomaki ha un sushi buono ma che a volte perde un po’ di equilibrio nei sapori, risultando un po’ pasticciato. Il locale è comodo e ben posizionato, ma nel complesso non spicca particolarmente rispetto ad altri sushi della zona. Ideale per chi cerca una soluzione rapida e senza troppe pretese, magari dopo aver fatto shopping nel centro commerciale.

Ottima qualità e scenografica la presentazione dei piatti. Una piacevole novità il carpaccio misto flambé, da provare! Uramaki con gamberi fritto sempre buonissimi! Bella la vista dal tavolo davanti alla vetrata, ma un po’ rumorosa la location, soprattutto fino alle 21:30-22… poi il posto si è un po’ svuotato ed era meno chiassoso.

Bella location e servizio veloce, la qualità del cibo è come per tutti i Bomaki di livello medio, un buon pranzo.

Piatti davvero ottimi e molto buoni, nonostante l influenza brasiliana non si senta moltissimo. Il personale è davvero distratto, abbiamo dovuto chiedere due volte le cose in più occasioni. La location però è molto studiata! Se siete nei pressi di citylife fermatevi assolutamente!

I've entered to get a poke, but they only make poke for takeout (and not dine-in!) So be careful. Since I wanted a poke, I ordered a chirashi instead, paying slightly more. It was absolutely delicious, the staff was friendly and it's a nice environment. The prices are somewhat high but it does taste very good. Just be careful if all you want is a poke 😂

Food: the sushi are very tasty and well made, but a bit scarce on fish, for the price. Do not miss trying the Brazilian tiramisu, Pavé - it’s perfection! Atmosphere: very trendy design, a bit noisy, but I personally do not mind. Service: staff is very friendly but super busy. Do not get surprised if they forget to bring you ginger or wasabi :)

Nel complesso la qualità è molto buona. Sono rimasto un po' deluso da alcuni dettagli (es. tempura negli uramaki non calda e croccante/ cheesecake poco compatta tanto da sembrare più una panna cotta che una cheesecake). Sono questi i dettagli che fanno la differenza, soprattutto quando si vendono porzioni da 8 pezzi a 15 €. In media con vino si spende sui 40 € a persona. Camerieri molto gentili e disponibili. Consiglierei ma con riserva, spero di ricredermi alla prossima visita!

Copia della famosa temakeria brasiliana. Porta qualche innovazione ma si posiziona sotto in termini di gusto. LOCATION: il locale è stretto e lungo, parecchio affollato e rumoroso, tavoli troppo vicini. All'interno del centro commerciale CityLife: la vetrata butta sul piano inferiore, vista negozi. MENU: molto vario, proposti almeno una trentina di uramaki (salmone, tonno, branzino, gambero, cobia) + burritos e tacos di carne/pesce/veg. Pesce fresco ma a livello di gusto nulla di esagerato. PREZZO: 85€ in due con bottiglia 0,75cl di birra. Decisamente troppo alto per la location, che si paga sempre, ed in questo caso, visto che si sta mangiando in un centro commerciale, va fatta pagare meno.

Recensione dolce amara. Un sushi fusion alla carta, buono ma non eccellente, 40€ a testa per 16 uramaki. Prezzi ormai lievitati in maniera esagerata, prima non era così. Ambiente gradevole, un po’ buio, ma gradevole. Cocktail ottimi, camerieri molto gentili. GRAN BELLA MUSICA SPARATA A 100 ma ho apprezzato perché era Rauw Alejandro, magari ad altri potrebbe infastidire. Ci siamo state tante volte, ma purtroppo dubito che torneremo, di volta in volta i prezzi sono aumentati sempre di più…non tutti abitiamo a Citylife. Addio Bomaki, sei stato super

An excellent way to spend your money. Food is great and nothing ever tasted funny (I checked this place many times before writing a review). Certain dishes are not perfectly balanced expecially those with mango. But kitchen area is fine. Definitely to improve is the service area. There's lot of room for improvement. Waiters and waitresses needs absolutely to study more what are the dishes which ingredients are inside them, which desserts are available, etc... Training personnel is paramount for a decent restaurant: nothing fancy but at least the basics.

The place is nice and the food LOOKS good on Instagram, and that's all. Flavor wise it's like eating styrofoam, the meat was so dry that at first I thought I was chewing on the chopstick. Honorable mention is the "lunch menu" combo that doesn't include a drink (so it's basically just a regular dish?). The service was good, and the staff was nice, but don't go there anyway.

It wasn’t what we expected. The tastes are various though! We were surprised by that. But the sushi we aordered was not as conpact as we were used to see. The lighting outside needs to be worked on. It was almost dark. The staff are some so kind and respectful and some not much! But the open air section is nice anyway because you’ll eat while having fresh air. We went there at about 21:30 so maybe they were tired and the service wasn’t at its highest. But it kinda worths to try once.

Service non existent and quality of the food really went down quite significantly. I've been to this Bomaki several times in the pat and the food was always super fresh and the service quite good. This last time I have visited... everything went wrong. Starting from no cutlery or anything at the table, no attention from the staff, all the tables around were dirty and nobody really cared to clean or bring the orders to the tables. I had to give back 2 things out of 4 because it was not what I've ordered... Well... I won't be going back for sure. There are so many other great places in Milan that care about the customers and deserve much more than this restaurant.

Il locale si presenta come un ristorante “luxury fusion” à la carte, elegante e moderno, ospitato in un contesto di fascia alta. L’ambiente è curato, il design gradevole, ma l’impressione generale è quella di un’estetica che cerca più di colpire l’occhio che di sostenere un’esperienza realmente gastronomica. La carta parla il linguaggio dell’alta ristorazione: 14-16 € per una tartare di salmone monoporzione (non provata, ma presente in menu) e 6 € per due nigiri. Prezzi da bistrot stellato, ma senza l’eco di una cucina che sappia sorprendere. La materia prima è buona, in alcuni casi ottima, ma si colloca esattamente sul livello dei migliori all you can eat top di Milano — dove si spende la metà, e spesso si esce più soddisfatti. Il menù pranzo “business” rappresenta il punto più debole: 17-18 € per cinque uramaki, quattro polpettine da aperitivo e una ciotola di edamame lessi (acqua e coperto inclusi, per un valore complessivo intorno ai 3 €). Si tratta di componenti che, in molti locali, vengono serviti come omaggio durante un aperitivo, e che qui finiscono per costruire un piatto tanto curato quanto dissonante rispetto al prezzo richiesto. Il servizio è corretto, senza sbavature ma anche senza guizzi: gentile, rapido quanto basta, privo di quel calore e quella competenza che distinguono un’esperienza “di categoria”. Nel complesso, un indirizzo piacevole alla vista e discreto al palato, ma ancora confuso tra ambizione e coerenza. Il conto parla il linguaggio del lusso, il piatto quello di un onesto ma ordinario sushi da centro città Verdetto: il conto tradisce, bocciatura dovuta d’ufficio.
