I had the pleasure of spending time at this beach resort and was truly satisfied. The facility is meticulously maintained: clean, well-organized spaces, and a welcoming atmosphere. There's a playground for the little ones and a beach volleyball court for fun with friends. The recently renovated showers are comfortable and functional. The bar is a real highlight: generous breakfasts, snacks, and aperitifs are always accompanied by good music and entertainment, creating a festive and relaxed atmosphere. The restaurant offers a wide and varied menu, with quality dishes, and they often host themed dinners with truly original special menus. The staff is always friendly, helpful, and always smiling. The managers are attentive to the needs of each guest, helping to make guests feel at home. A perfect place to spend a day at the beach in total relaxation, fun, and good food. Highly recommended.

Beautiful place and very welcoming staff. We left Milan for a day at the beach, and I have to say we were really satisfied! The beach is clean, and upon arrival, the staff cleans your lounger before setting out your towel and personal belongings... quality! Aperitif with a spritz and a basic platter for €8 was more than fair, not to mention delicious! ⭐️CRAZY FRIED MIX⭐️ Thanks again to the staff for a wonderful day... we'll be back!

Today I went to Bagni Mafalda in Varazze 😎🤩🙏👏🏼 Thanks to its magical owner, the great Beppe!!! My wife, my son, and I managed to find an umbrella with two loungers in record time just a few meters from the sea 😍!!! Not to mention the fresh fish lunches they serve for lunch 😋😋😋😋😋!!! Try it, you won't regret it 👍😉

Bagni Mafalda is one of the gems of the Varazze Bay. It's not one of those chaotic establishments where every customer is just one of many and can be a bit of a nuisance. A certain class and the attentive and kind staff make for a rare pleasure. The extremely comfortable beach loungers make all the difference compared to the traditional hard canvas ones at other establishments. Cleanliness is a key aspect of this beach establishment, which I've been frequenting for several years now, a rare quality in highly frequented places like the Ligurian beaches. This year, a special mention goes to the new management of the restaurant. Ms. Bettina has revolutionized the menu, significantly raising the quality of the dishes, which are now truly worthy of an excellent restaurant. We're not dealing with the usual quick-service toasted sandwiches, but with beautiful, carefully prepared, and excellent dishes at prices absolutely in keeping with the location. CONGRATULATIONS!!! Seafood salad... FANTASTIC, spaghetti with clams... A REFERENCE, fried seafood... WOWWWW 😙👍 The position of the tables on the beach is UNIQUE and makes everything even more extraordinary. You can see and feel the attention to detail, service, and kindness that truly make the difference!!!

Ambiente piacevole, vista mare. Ho mangiato un ottimo spaghetto alle vongole. Nell'attesa ci hanno portato un pò di gnocco fritto con panissa. Hanno un ampio spazio gioco per i bambini, che per i genitori aggiunge qualche punto (per la tranquillità). Ottime anche le Alici e il fritto misto (buono ed abbondante).

Una bella giornata a Varazze. Decidiamo di pranzare direttamente sulla spiaggia, nonostante sia febbraio 😊 Il cibo è stato di nostro gradimento, il personale ci è sembrato un po’ “improvvisato”, ci sono stati alcuni errori, e il servizio è stato piuttosto lento , ma in una bella giornata di sole non ci ha particolarmente infastiditi.

The staff is excellent and always friendly, but the same cannot be said for the owner. We spent three days at this establishment. Today, Friday, we were told there was a €5 surcharge. I asked for an explanation because the price list stated "weekend + €5" and, since it was Friday, I didn't understand. The owner, rude and arrogant, exclaimed, "Friday is the weekend, go to the public beach then!" It was a matter of principle; it's not a way to behave, much less to make fun of it like this and make up the rules to your liking. I feel sorry for the staff, as we've found them to be kind and friendly these past few days. We went to the bathroom further ahead to give our money to more humane and respectful people.

So on the website they write a price for low season and that's fine, then in high season they write 35 euros for two loungers and an umbrella. You get to the checkout and they first ask you for 50 euros a day, then as if they were giving you who knows what, they ask you for 40. When you ask, but look, on the website it says 35 because first it asks me for 50, then 40 and if you don't like it, you go for free... What the hell kind of response is that? And how about respect for those who come to bring you profit? After all, my request is legitimate. How can you hook me with prices, then ask me for a higher price? There's not even the excuse of the first or last row, since the first and middle rows were sold out. Basically, it was the last row. It's the feeling and certainty of being taken for a ride, and excuse the word. The last gem the manager told me was: the storm this year caused damage, do you know how much the playground costs? €30,000... So what? What do I have to do with this? In any case, it takes a lot of courage and nerve to list one price on the website and then quote another... it's misleading advertising. P.S. A word of advice: shop around, as the competition not far away, or rather nearby, definitely offers better prices, with better amenities like showers included in the price, a pool included in the price. The showers and bathrooms, unlike the Royal, are clean and functional. If you scroll through the reviews, you'll find many complaints like this. I also reported this to my colleagues, who will certainly take action.

Initially, they were kind enough to give us a table, even though they hadn't received my reservation through the TheFork app. Unfortunately, the service was very improvised, with untrained staff, confusing orders, dishes repeatedly requested but never arrived, and coffee delivered without sugar; we had to get up and go get it from the kitchen. The dishes we ordered were standard, except for the trofie al pesto, which was truly embarrassing, topped with practically raw potatoes and green beans. And to top it off, the bill wasn't cheap, as you'd expect from a beachside restaurant. I definitely wouldn't recommend it.

Used to be the best baths, but now there's practically nothing left there. The owners don't value their customers' experience as there is no effort in keeping the baths alive.
