We came to eat in this restaurant as a family (with our children who will soon be 4 and 7 years old). We were very well received and we loved the dishes served (troffie, ravioli, artichokes, mussels, stuffed vegetable starters, tiramisu, strawberries and its delicious lemon cream). A real delight! I've never eaten a better risotto. I was very satisfied! Truly excellent! My companion instead had the tagliatelle with rabbit sauce and Taggiasca olives. Excellent! Finally, I tried the lemon and sage sorbet. It had a unique flavor, but it was good. It was also plentiful! The staff were very friendly and helpful. The owner was incredibly kind. Generous portions.

In one of the narrow streets of Pietra Ligure is the restaurant Il Vecchio Cuoco, a charming and welcoming place, with friendly, kind, and above all very professional staff. The lady was the epitome of kindness. We enjoyed dinner there, with dishes expertly prepared by the chef. For me and my family, it's our favorite in Pietra Ligure. Congratulations again to all the staff. Recommended.

We went there for lunch today and will definitely be back because it's truly worth it. I brought my uncles from Milan for the first time and they were absolutely delighted! The dishes were truly delicious and carefully prepared. A quaint restaurant in Pietra Ligure, it seems less commercial than other nearby establishments. Ligurian cuisine, good seafood, and a well-maintained restaurant. The mixed antipasto, fried calamari, and grilled sea bass fillet are all very good. Friendly staff. Recommended.

The old chef treated us to a pleasant evening spent with friends, enjoying traditional Ligurian dishes prepared with passion and skill. Fantastic snails, excellent tartar. Located in the heart of Pietra Ligure, where most restaurants offer tourist menus, this is definitely the place to go for a quality dinner. The consistently attentive service completes the restaurant's ambiance.

One of the best culinary experiences I've ever had. The location is small but very unique and well-managed. The staff is friendly and professional, attentive to every palate. The dishes are unique, fresh, light, and delicious! I personally don't eat fish often because I'm always afraid of finding someone who doesn't know how to cook it. This place makes all that fear disappear and makes you want to try the entire menu! I recommend everyone visit at least once! The quality/price ratio is way too fair.

Cute and authentic ambience. You get the best quality for your money. Staff was super friendly. We were 6 people and everyone tried something different. Everything was super delicious. The fish was fresh, calamari were not fatty and made from fresh fish, the gnocchi, pasta and pesto tasty. We will definitely go again, and try the rest of the card. Without a doubt the best restaurant, best food and best ambience in town.

We are in Pietra Ligure at Easter with some friends and after receiving several "we are already full" with a mocking grin we end up in front of the restaurant in question. We immediately find the kind blonde owner who tells us that she would find us a place but only outside the restaurant. Nothing better: excellent weather and therefore the possibility of smoking. We make an appointment for 1.30 pm and we take another look around. When we arrive at the table they make us sit down and offer us a piece of excellent Pasqualina cake (made by them). A la carte menu with few options but which will turn out to be fresh and just cooked dishes. We had a great time both with the staff (very kind) and with a very honest bill that surprised us for what we ate. We will definitely return, given the softness of the mixed fried food, the goodness of the rice alla marinara and the delicacy of the "brandacujun".

Really beautiful and quiet Ambiente. We were only in Liguria for a night and this was the perfect dinner. We ordered the rabbit and soso bucco and were not disappointed. Definitely recommending this…

The experience didn't live up to expectations. We sat down at 8:15 PM, appetizers arrived at 8:50 PM, and the second course around 9:50 PM (at 9:30 PM the waitress said the plates were coming out). With 10 tables, this isn't acceptable in my opinion. The food quality wasn't bad; for example, the tagliatelle were well-made, but all the dishes were very salty.

The food was very good, but we won't be back because we waited over an hour between the appetizer and the main course. Everyone who came in after us was served first. We realized the chef waited to cook the rice so he could combine our order with another table's. The worst part was that they then brought the rice to that table before us, even though we'd arrived half an hour before them. Unheard of, rudeness. This place should be forgotten.
