Una parada imperdible en carretera. Lo recomiendo ampliamente para comer y recargar energía después de un trayecto largo. Pedimos cecina y chilaquiles, y ambos estaban muy ricos, bien servidos y con porciones bastante generosas. Se nota el buen sazón. Algo que también nos gustó mucho fue el agua de frutas naturales: el vaso es de 1 litro, ideal para refrescarte. Además, el lugar tiene una bonita vista al río, lo que hace la experiencia todavía más agradable y relajante mientras comes. Nuestra cuenta fue de $440 por los platillos y el agua, así que me pareció una buena relación calidad-precio considerando la cantidad y calidad de la comida. El ambiente es agradable y es de esos lugares de carretera donde comes bien y sales satisfecho. Como punto a mejorar, no cuentan con carta ni precios visibles, así que sería ideal tener esa información desde el inicio para ordenar con más claridad.

Me encantó, la comida está deliciosa, solo tardan un poco en tomarte la orden y servirte, pero no se siente nada con la perfecta compañía :3 también los precios de la comida son suuuuper accesibles :3 ricos ricos.

It's like a treehouse with a view of the mountains and the river, so the air is very fresh, even in July when we went. The service is a bit slow because it's a family kitchen where everyone, even the little ones, helps out, but you can see the wood-burning stove, which guarantees great flavor, and the food didn't disappoint. It was some of the best we had on our vacation in the Sierra Gorda; it was worth the wait. Another table arrived, and when they saw they weren't being served, they left. Good thing we waited! 😅 There's no Wi-Fi, like everywhere else in the mountains, there's no signal, but enjoying the scenery and the mountain air makes you feel more connected.

Highly recommended. This eatery is part of the Ruta del Sabor (Flavor Route) program, and after trying several, it was one of the best. Being close to places like Chuveje Waterfall, Puente de Dios (Bridge of God), etc., it's an excellent option for a meal after visiting these sites. We ordered green enchiladas (served with a piece of beef steak) and red enchiladas (served with breaded beef cutlet); the side dish was a choice. Both dishes were delicious. The prices are reasonable, the service is excellent, and the place is quite clean.

It's a little cabin by the road that you might miss, but the food is delicious. The quality of the food is top-notch. Everything is fresh and flavorful. They have very affordable daily specials as well as an à la carte menu. Their micheladas are perfect. It's just 5 minutes or less from the turnoff to El Chuveje waterfall.

Excellent recommendation. We waited until we arrived there to eat on our way from some cabins in Jalpan on our way to Pinal de Amoles. Excellent flavor, and the service was very respectful, friendly, and warm. Apparently, a lot of people go there, meaning those in the know. Now we know, because this taste of flavor, in the middle of the mountains, with the sound of the river flowing at your feet, and watching the clouds pass by (it was foggy), has been an unparalleled experience.
