We celebrated our 20th wedding anniversary at Red Oak Steakhouse, and it was nothing short of extraordinary. From the moment we arrived, the service and atmosphere made the evening feel truly special. The menu is incredibly unique, and we came in intentionally wanting to try new things. Red Oak delivered beyond our expectations in every way. Our meal included A5 Kobe Wagyu, bison filet, Tomahawk ribeye, scallops, and more. Each dish was expertly prepared and absolutely unforgettable. The cocktails were exceptional and the wine list includes rare Willamette Valley barrel-auction selections—limited-production wines that support small producers and artisan communities. (We enjoyed one of these beautiful Pinot Noir’s). Dessert was the perfect finale and a true work of art by Chef Mattias. The chocolate soufflé was perfection, the pavlova was light and delicious, and the coconut mousse with mango and passion fruit, served inside a chocolate coconut shell, was as stunning as it was delicious. Exceptional food, excellent service, and a beautiful atmosphere made this an anniversary we will never forget. If you’re celebrating something special, or just want an unforgettable dining experience, I cannot recommend Red Oak Steakhouse highly enough.
Tried Red Oak for the first time and it was a great experience! Our food was perfect. The fried oysters were absolutely delicious!! My filet was one of the best I've ever had. The service was top notch! Absolutely no complaints, we had a wonderful time. Definitely recommend!
Our experience at Red Oak Steakhouse inside Saracen casino in Pine Bluff was absolutely amazing. The waitress and her support staff were attentive and every one of our needs were met. We were intimidated by the menu initially, but the staff and the chef explained all of our questions in such an understanding way and got us very excited for the food. I have many dietary restrictions, and the chef accommodated every one of them without making me feel that I inconvenienced him and he came out and explained every dish to us as it was served AND on top of that made a custom dessert for me. No other restaurant has ever gone to such lengths for us! The restaurant was quite busy for a Sunday evening, but we were made to feel like we were the only ones in the restaurant; no one missed a beat. My husband was awed by his tomahawk steak and his favorite vegetable: brussels sprouts. We loved everything from the rye old fashioned, to the Kobe experience, to the coffee with our desserts. This is a gem of a restaurant hidden in the heart of the central Arkansas delta.
Get up and go right now! This place was amazing! From the ambience to the service and food! I have zero complaints….
We were invited by very good friends to come here with them. They were so sweet as they even treated us to dinner. We shared an appetizer, the Colossal Shrimp Cocktail, and it was delicious. My hubby and I got the Dry-Aged Strip, and OH MY GOSH!!!! We have not tasted and eaten such tender, juicy, and well-seasoned steak!!! For sides, we shared the Garlic Potato Puree and that was a perfect side for the Strip. Our friends got the A5 BMS 11 Kobe Strip and the Prime Ribeye; They loved it. It was their 2nd time to come here while it was our first time. Then, for desert, my hubby and I shared the The Dome and WOW! It was very chocolate-y, our friends got the Strawberry Shortcake and the cute Mushroom designed dessert. I do not remember what it was called. All that mattered that it was scrumptious!!! True that this restaurant is pricey, but it does not disappoint!!! Come here for all your special celebrations! We definitely would if we could! Your money will be very well spent! Service was phenomenal. They could definitely obtain one or two Michellin Stars 🌟 🌟, in my humble opinion.
I had THE BEST dining experience of my life at the Red Oak. The fried oysters for appetizer were excellent. I had the lamb cooked medium and I have never had a more perfectly cook cut. A side of grilled asparagus and lobster Mac and cheese to go with it and then the best chocolate creme brulee I have ever had. I can not stop thinking about how every single moment I spent here was exquisite and every bite of food was absolutely phenomenal. The service was top notch and I would not hesitate to come back in the future. 10 stars if it was possible. Thank you to my buddy Glen that took me out there and thank you to the Red Oak for a very memorable night out.
If you are looking for an anniversary spot.. look no further than the Red Oak Steakhouse. From the starters to the desserts, we were blown away at ever dish. The main courses my wife and I had were absolutely breathtaking… Seriously the best meals either of us have ever had. She ordered the double boned porkchop from Colorado topped with an apple bourbon glaze and candied sunflowers. I had the gumbo with risotto and red rice from Charleston, mahi-mahi fish and sliced fried okra. I have never tastes something so wonderful, we passed these dishes back and forth more than once! 100% recommend!!
What an incredible dinner at Red Oak steakhouse! The food is amazing, the service outstanding and overall experiences top notch. It’s a must if you haven’t been yet. I’d be remiss if I didn’t give a shout out to Okon who took such great care in our table service! Bravo to the whole Red Oak team!!!!
Incredible food! Service and atmosphere rival the TOP steakhouses! The lead server Okan and Kalana were both AWESOME! I wish there was another entrance directly into the restaurant as opposed to having to walk through the casino. We almost decided not to eat there. Despite that the food and the service will have us coming again and again!
Pros: Fantastic staff. Very attentive wait staff. Great food and desserts. Appetizers: We only tried the pork belly in an aged root beer glaze. It was pretty good but we will be trying a different appetizer next time. Meats: Tried the lamb, beef ribeye, bison ribeye, lobster tail and shrimp. The shrimp was, well... shrimp. The lobster tail was good. Lamb was good but the pepper crust was a little strong. However, without the pepper crust, the lamb was bland. The beef ribeye was really good. The star of the show was the bison ribeye. It was simply amazing! Sides: We tried the sautéed mushrooms, asparagus, and Mac and cheese with lobster. The mushrooms were good. The asparagus was amazing. The mac and cheese was really good. Desserts: Had the "Hummingbird Nest" and the truffe chocolate fondue noire. They were both really good but the truffe edged out as the favorite. Final Note: Although some of the food was not "amazing enough" to be worth the price, once we establish our "best choices", this will certainly be a place worth going for a special occasion.
I had a long overdue girl’s night at the steakhouse and then played some machines at the casino. Might I say, Okan is the best waiter I have ever had. Pleasant, professional and knowledgeable. I also was able to meet Mark who recommended a delicious virgin cocktail to keep me on track with a 75 day fitness challenge. My gal pal and I decided desert and coffee were in order. I loved that they brought the French press to our table and provided us the freshest coffee possible. I am already planning on my next visit back!
Just got back from Red Oak for my 30th bday and was blown away at how good the food was. Servers were very attentive. We Olken at our table and he was very thorough. Knew details about every menu item and was happy to discuss them, polite couldn't have asked for better. Will definitely be coming back to this gem! Happy Pine Bluff has a place like this! I got the Tribal ribeye, fried oysters, and shrimp cocktail all of it amazing. Washed it down with a "vesper" James Bond martini! Shaken not stirred.
It was very nice lighting and great atmosphere. I had a very welcoming experience and the servers were very nice and attentive. I did not get a steak but I’m pretty sure it is just as good as the oysters, potato leek soup, and baked potato. Next I am getting a steak for sure ! Best steakhouse hands down
Ridiculously great steakhouse at the Saracen Casino in Pine Bluff. Service second to none. Good was delicious and expertly prepared. Would definitely go there again for any reason. Had the porterhouse and the lobster Mac and it was WAAAAAY too much food but that wasn't a problem with how delicious is. They also went out if they're easy and made my wife, who is vegan, a wonderful dish that wasn't even in the menu. First class.
This is one awesome steakhouse located inside the Saracen Casino. The servers and staff are totally awesome. I tried a Chimay beer that was totally fantastic. A must stop.
Didn't have a reservation, but, they made room for us at the bar. Bartender Tim was great. Excellent steak, accurately cooked, fantastic sides and let's not forget the cheesecake....ever! 10 Stars
Fantastic experience. Food was spectacular. Service was perfect. Wine list impressive.
Service was Supurb. Everything was prepared top notch. Seasoned perfectly and cooked to the correct temperatures.
Delicious prime ribeye that definitely does not need any steak sauce. The side of mushrooms, baked potatoes and Brussels sprouts were also wonderful. Can’t wait to go back!
This is where I'm going to get my soups from now now! This place maybe pricey but the food and service made it very worth it! And for my first time coming my waitress was very helpful with recomendations.
Absolutely the best food I’ve personally ever eaten.
Came here to have a drink while waiting on the car giveaway. I Decided to sit at the bar even though it was super busy. Julian really took care of me. He made me the best old fashioned and really kept up with the service despite the night being so chaotic. I would definitely come back and try dinner.
Went to the Red Oak Steakhouse tonight and had a great time. Mark, the manager, was beyond helpful and extremely nice to our entire party. The food was amazing and it was just an overall great experience. Thank you Mark and the entire staff at Red Oak for making our night so great!
This was our first dining experience here, but it sure won't be the last. Everything was great. It's very rare that you find excellent food and service under one roof. The entire staff is to be commended for a job well done. 👏 👏
I did delete my original post but this up will be to the interactive afterwards. The 4 stars for service is only due to the fact that I did not get a response from my voicemail i had to leave last weekend. But i was in the area today and decided to stop in and I did receive an apology when I brought that up. I do recommend the dine in over take out, the ambience adds to the experience of the excellent food.
The best steak I had in years! The service and the atmosphere were on point. They treated my wife and me well, making our anniversary an event to remember. We will come again, and we cannot recommend Red Oak Steakhouse enough; we hope everyone will try them.
Awesome food and service. Great experience all 3 times that we have gone. My wife orders the Chicken Marsala Roulade (her favorite meal that she has ever had according to her) every time, but I have tried a variety of things including the mixed grill (amazing), the buffalo tenderloin (also amazing), and dry aged strip (one of the best I have ever had). We also love the brussels sprouts and the Caesar salad is uniquely served and absolutely delicious. The olive bread that is brought when you are seated is great as well. Good selection of wines and other spirits. Wait staff is the best I have ever seen. Our servers have also taken very good care of us but they don't do it alone, the entire wait staff works together to make your experience a pleasant one. If I could, I would give it more than 5 stars.
Okan was absolutely wonderful. He really knew his stuff and was super fun. We had the Kobe and it was definitely worth the experience. The drinks are to die for, I heard they have an actual mixologist there. This place deserves a Michelin star.
This took me way too long for me to getting around to write this review especially how amazing our experience was but here it goes. I’m from California and we are new to the state we have just found one of the best fine dining restaurants in Arkansas. In fact, Chef Todd and the staff have one of the best restaurants we have ever been to they pulled out all of the stops on this one from appetizer to desert. We go out to eat alot and I can say we haven’t found a place here that we would visit more than once yet until now. I can usually find one or two items I really like and would go back for but this dinner at RED OAK Steak House at Saracen resort was so amazing!! My wife and I had dinner there with my parents we were there on Sunday, September 4th. The food was absolutely wonderful. I had the Dry-Aged Ribeye my father had the Prime Rib and my wife had the Filet and all of which were cooked to perfection it was like a ball of butter in my mouth, mom had a killer Salmon Filet. Our waiter and the rest of the staff was so very knowable with the menu and the cocktail’s that they served our waiter gave us a history lesson one each drink he recommended personally I recommend the 18895 old fashion. He went far and beyond in meeting our needs and it was a pleasure to spend our evening enjoying our meal with him.
My date and I had a wonderful time. Dinner was exceptional, we both had take home boxes, and the next morning the food was just as good as the night before! We will be back!
Best steak ever! Kobe beef, dry aged, bison ribeyes. All excellent and the service is beyond 5 star.
Expensive but worth every penny! Hands down my favorite place to eat. The best steak around.
Celebrated a fantastic birthday with a delightful halibut dinner topped off by the chocolate souffle. I always ask for Shawn as our server as he is so attentive and personable.
We sat at the bar and had drinks and dinner. The bartender, Tim, is awesome. We told him what we liked and he had some great recommendations. The drinks were excellent. :) Melissa and Barbara
We love coming here. We came tonight to celebrate valentines and absolutely had the best service. Our server had on a cute pink suit and he was so kind. The chef came out and answered my question about a Recipe he makes because I want to learn to make it at home. Just wonderful, wonderful service and people.
The BEST experience EVER, I had at a steakhouse! The atmosphere when I first entered into the restaurant was very pleasant, inviting, and professional. I felt as though the hostess wanted us as guests in the restaurant. It was very nice coming in the door. The food was delicious! The cuts of beef are well worth it and cooked to perfection. The side dishes along with the entrees are well chosen and compliments the entree and delicious as well. The drinks are great too! The desserts are decadent, very tempting and delicious. The service is very professional and friendly. I will be visiting Red Oak Steakhouse again; this is my new, favorite Steakhouse. I do not live in Pinebluff AR; nonetheless, Red Oak Steakhouse is worth the trip.
I rarely write reviews. But if I could give this place a million stars I would. We came for my mother’s birthday. It was heavenly. The service was awesome. And the food was AMAZING. The presentation of everything was first class. My family and I were very impressed. We will 100% be back. Then I hit the casino floor and won back the cost of my entire meal plus some. Lol. I've found my new favorite restaurant.
What an experience! While you may question this restaurant for being in a casino it absolutely compares to Little Rock's other fine dining restaurants. We arrived a little early which gave time to make some investments on the casino floor which added to the experience. The service is top notch, the food was prepared perfectly and it was a wonderful setting. We drove over an hour to get to the restaurant and still thought it was worth it. Don't hesitate to make the drive, it is perfect for your next special occasion.
The food here is outstanding. I always enjoy sitting at the bar. The bar tender, Tim, is a riot.
The food here is top-tier for Pine bluff!! They needed this type of service in this area. The chefs are from prominent schools and professional backgrounds! I can’t brag enough on the service I’ve had at this restaurant. Great idea for Anniversary or bday gathering with private room reservations
Truly a 5 star restaurant if there ever was one. My wife and I have visited twice now and both times have been above and beyond any expectations. The wine selection is great. The bar can make any drink imaginable as well as a few I'd never heard of. The waiter we had on the last visit was incredible. Fast service. Knowledgeable about the food. Listening to him talk about each dish was like watching Bob Ross paint. The food itself can't be described accurately in a review like this. 10/10 worth the price and the hour drive it takes me to get there. I'm currently driving my coworkers insane talking about this place and how amazing it is. I don't think I could make this review glow any more than I already have but please just once you need to have a dining experience here.
My husband and I celebrated our anniversary at Red Oak. It was a wonderful experience from start to finish. The service was EXCELLENT . Our waiter, Okan, was amazing, as were the other staff. Our water glasses never ran dry. The food was beyond expectations. The environment is classy. We were treated well. We highly recommend, and will be back!
This is third time we have been to Red Oak. Atmosphere and service always on point. Food amazing as always. One of our absolute favorite high end restaurants to go to. Be back soon
Service at the bar good right off the bat with getting water and drinks started followed up quickly taking my order. Ended up trying the filet and lobster mac n cheese. For medium rare the steak was more on the rare side of it and could have used another minute or two. However the flavor was delicious. The lobster mac n cheese was a bit on the bland side. Doctored up with salt and pepper helped a bit. Good whiskey selection and overall drinks and available cocktails. This is definitely the place to stop for a nice dinner, however you are going to pay for it.
Oysters were fantastic (but it did have some pork or something), salad was ok (kind of odd though), crab cake was good sauce was a little potent, asparagus was meat flavored which wasnt great since we dont eat that type of food, but they were cooked well, chocolate desert was very good, price was fair for the service and atmosphere. Will eat at again. Make a reservation in advance. Nice paintings.
My friends came to visit for their anniversary my friends birthday and wanted to treat them to a nice place. We decided on Red Oak because they really wanted oysters on the half shell. To say are experience was subpar would be an understatement. They were out of oysters so that really did not set the tone for what we hoped would be a great meal. My crab cake was definitely undercooked, lacked any flavor and was not hot. Now, if someone pays $25 for a crab cake and it returns to the kitchen with only a bite or two gone, you would think they would question why? Nope, no questions asked. They also never asked or acknowledged our special occasion. Now, the thing that really bothered me, I stepped away from the table (and left 3 people at the table) and the manager practically ran after me like I was going to run out on the bill or something. How embarrassing! Very disappointing.
Saracen Casino "Resort", most notably known as Club Saracen or The Discotheque at Pine Bluff. Before I go into my review of Red Oak, I'd like to stress, there is NO RESORT. Supposedly it's in the process of being built “phase 2”, but, IF and when that happens, what is the draw to Pine Bluff?????? With that being said, my thoughts on Red Oak Steakhouse. It is the fancy place to go, to wine and dine your significant other on a night of winning big or feeling like a highfalutin dinner with no means to Little Rock. 😭 So what did we order? Appetizers: root beer pork belly, dry aged brisket The root beer pork belly. For those not familiar with pork belly, it’s essentially unsmoked bacon. Don’t waste your money. Just imagine a microwaved root beer flavored gummy bear. Dry aged brisket. I’m a Texan and we put brisket on the map. I suspect if leather was edible this would be it! Entrees: dry aged ribeye, a5 kobe ribeye. I’ve always been taught, (cooking 101), always season your food! Who doesn’t season their steaks prior to cooking?? For as expensive as it is, for as much as they like to say they’re award winning, they don’t know how to season a cut of meat. Highly disappointed. 👎🏽👎🏽 Would I recommend Red Oak? NO! Why drive all the way to Pine Bluff when you can get the equivalent in Little Rock, Arthur’s Prime, Sonny Williams’ or LR’s staple Doe’s Eat Place. **If you're really wanting to try A5 Kobe, and have a Costco membership, warehouse sells A5 Kobe along with Iberico pork. Season and cook to your liking at half the price.**
We waited over 25 minutes to only receive water. They Never took our order and we watched others that came after us receive service before we did. It also wasn't a busy night and did not appear to be short staffed. I have reached out via email. Thanks.
I visited a Red Oak Steakhouse in Pine Bluff Arkansas inside the Sarasen Casino on May 7, 2022, the day before Mother’s Day. Where I was treated poorly as a new guest and made to feel less of a human as I was denied seating in the dining area and seated at the bar instead. Me and my friend were told that we couldn’t reserve a seat until 8:30pm bc they were full as we clearly observed that they weren’t but decided to give benefit of doubt and not make a fuss. Shortly after another person of another race and their dog came in before 8:30pm with no reservation and was able to be seated in the dining area with their dog. That was a horrible feeling that I don’t wish for anyone to ever feel. Not to mention they took an hour or more to get us our food. Todd R. Gold was the guy who gave us a card and who I believe was the manager that day. He gave my friend his food free but that to me does not make up for what they did. I don’t think a place like that should be in business. Especially when the majority of people that I believe they will be serving are the people that they are discriminating against. I’ve been busy so this is why I’m just now writing this review but I could never forget that day.
BEWARE, BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE. They claim to be fine dining, not so! My husband and I were celebrating our anniversary here tonight. Both of us had ordered filet mignon. His was cooked to his liking. Mine, on the other hand, was clearly under cooked, which the waitress noted right away. When my husband asked to speak with the manager, she came over and was very condescending. My husband was so kind to her even with her narcissistic attitude. He explained that he was very disappointed that he could not enjoy his dinner with his wife at the same time. She just stated that even though they had messed up, we should have been happy to wait until they cooked the stake again. Common decency would be to apologize and to make it right on the check. Since it was at no fault of the customer that you sent the food out without it being cooked correctly.
