From the moment I walked in, the friendly atmosphere and the coastal charm of the place set the stage for an unforgettable dining experience. Let’s talk about the food—absolutely phenomenal! The fish and chips were perfectly cooked, with a golden, crispy batter encasing tender and flaky fish. Each bite was a delightful balance of texture and flavor, making it easily some of the best I’ve ever had. Then came the clam chowder bread bowl, which truly stole the show. The chowder was rich, creamy, and packed with tender clams, all served in a freshly baked sourdough bread bowl that was crusty on the outside and soft on the inside. It’s a must-try dish that embodies comfort and coastal freshness. The service was impeccable, with the staff ensuring every need was met with a smile. Whether you’re a local or visiting the Central Coast, Brad’s Restaurant is a culinary destination that should not be missed. My family & I took a trip out of the Valley to Pismo & decided to eat at Brad's this past weekend. It was so packed of people & the wait in line to be seated in their outdoor patio for our group of 9 was less than 10 minutes. We could not wait to eat Clam Chowder (which was so good they are not stingy with the clams) & have some fresh fish (I had the Seafood Sampler with an assortment of seafood). Everything was soooo delicious, fresh, & the service was excellent! Late post July 21, 2023 My boyfriend and I wanted to take a drive for the day from the valley and eat at Brad's restaurant. My favorite go-to is the delicious fish of Cod and a bowl of their creamy clam chowder. 😋 Their food is always on point👌and so filling. I'm never disappointed eating at Brad's.❤️

My friend and I ate here yesterday while spending the day at Pismo. We had Cod, fried shrimp, fried crab and clam chowder. The fish was made to perfection and the homemade tarter sauce was great! Shrimps we’re cooked on point , and chowder was amazing! Prices were reasonable and staff were friendly with zero wait time.

To be honest! Overall it's was great! Everything has 5 stars except the service. I'd only say this because we needed the bill so we can pay for it but couldn't find our waitress, I believe she was working both inside and outside... Anyways the food was great! I got the fish and chips combo, and oh wow 👌 it was great! And it came with lots of food and seafood. The only thing I would suggest would be, instead of just 1 lemon slice maybe go with 3 instead. Other than that it was great! My wife got the lobster wrap and it was amazing as well. Light and tasty all in one. Great wrap! For sure coming back for that. My kid got the corndog... not much to say. It's just a corn dog it was good. Overall me and my family will come back for sure and eat in the patio area again during the summer! We love the atmosphere there so we enjoyed out time! Until next time!

I have to say this was the best food I’ve had in a very long time! The fish and chips were amazing and the clam chowder is by far the best I’ve ever tasted! Heather our waitress was so nice and tentative. She didn’t leave us completely alone to have to flag down to ask for something nor was she to much! Thank you so much. We will DEFINITELY be coming back here and recommend to all our friends

Visited here on a Monday night. Got seated quickly and were ready to order but took a while for our server to appear and he was not engaging at all. Good choice of items on the menu and we ordered the Baby back ribs and the Ahi Tuna. Both were good but the Tuna was a little under-cooked for my personal preference. Had Firestone 805 ales with it. The experience was OK but the service was slow and the server hardly opened his mouth so could have been better.

What a wonderful location for a good meal and good atmosphere. We enjoyed the service and appreciated the way our server made sure our meal was prepared to satisfaction. The portions were nice, and we enjoyed the BBQ Ribs among other items.

We arrived at peak dinner time yet were able to be seated quickly. It took a bit for a server to arrive but once our order was placed the food came out quickly and our server was very attentive. BBQ chicken and the salmon dinner were both really good. Clam chowder was one of the best I’ve had in a while. Definitely recommend stopping by if in the area. We also ordered the calamari as an appetizer, it was tender and delicious.

Food is decently flavored and priced. However, where the establishment shines is in its service. My wife ordered the clam chowder and she loved it. While I had a club sandwich and we shared chili cheese fries. Our server Ken was attentive to our needs and provided quick and effective service. The patio area was clean and provided a nice respite from the oddly warm November day.

Probably the best clam chowder restaurant and BBQ ever. I know that the calm chowder was the best I have ever tasted and the fish and chips was equally excellent with locally caught cod lightly battered. I like my clam chowder with plenty of Tabasco sauce, funny thing is I’m not big on. Tabasco but it’s the best sauce for clam chowder! Try it and let me know what you think? I've ate at Brad's 3 times now, but I vomited 2 out of 3 times afterwards. Don't get me wrong, the food tasted great. I think their seafood probably wasn't cooked all the way through, because I only threw up after eating clam chowder breadbowl and their deep fried seafood. I didn't get sick eating meat from the grill. I don't hate this place, but I most likely will not eat here again. If it happened once, shame on you, but twice then shame on me.

It is located 3 blocks from the pier. Street parking in front is limited. Handicap parking and access are available. We drove around several times and finally found parking 2 blocks away. The closer paid parking was full. This establishment is 70 years old. We were greeted at the door and seated right away. The interior is like a diner kind of plain. There is outside patio seating. The restrooms are located in back of the patio. Our booth seating was comfortable. Our server was very nice, informative and attentive. Husband ordered the seasoned grilled cod which was good. I ordered the clam chowder bowl and half a tuna sandwich senior combo. The clam chouder was kind of watery, salty, skimpy on the clams and heavy on the potatoes. The tuna salad sandwich was better.

Fish n chips and cheeseburger. One was ok, the other very good. You’d think the fish would’ve been the one that was very good. :) but no. It had the thick crust and didn’t seem made from fresh.
