I was there for the first time for a late lunch early dinner with some friends and my mother. The staff was friendly, courteous and helpful and the food was great. I liked that they are pet friendly because we had a couple of dogs with us. We went back the next day for dinner to meet up with an old friend/coworker.

A couple girlfriends and I dined her a couple of months ago and I totally forgot to review this establishment. Not only was our server/bartender absolutely amazing but the food was incredible!! We had fast and great service from Katrina, who was not only manning the bar but also serving tables as well. Although she was extremely busy the whole night we never felt ignored. I will absolutely be recommending this place to all of my friends and family, and will definitely be back again soon! Thank you Blast and Brew ❤️

This was our third night in a row eating dinner there. Food and service were great. Definitely recommend the pretzel for the appetizer. For 2 nights Carlos was our server. He was funny social and attractive and checked on our food. I also recommend the Yacht Blatter cocktail as well as the Lava Flow cocktail. We have been going to this place every year for 3 years during spring break

My wife and I stayed near by and decided to try Blast. It was a lovely experience! We had Ethan for our waiter one night and Caleb the next. They both were so kind and made great conversation. Also suggested great beers and always checking on us. If you are staying in a hotel/ cottage near by, this is the place to go. Quick great bites to eat and wonderful company! We can’t wait to see Ethan and Caleb again!

The menu had a variety of options to pair with a beer. But, even if you don't drink the food was delicious. The view was nice, full windows so no matter where you sit there was a view. Just know there isn't much for an alcoholic beverages and when I asked if I make a drink a virgin version, I was declined. But, still good food and a good view.

Good view of the ocean, service was really good, and the food was amazing. I had the Pismo Wrap and the Spice Apple Mule 🤤 so good!

5 Stars – A Hidden Gem That Outshines the High-End Spots We stumbled into Blast and Brew looking for something casual and ended up having one of the best meals of our trip. The vibe was super chill, the food was fantastic, and the service was friendly and prompt from start to finish. We ordered a little bit of everything — bacon-wrapped shrimp, shrimp tacos, clam chowder, ribeye and finished with the most unexpectedly delicious bread pudding for dessert. I had a coconut mojito that hit just right. Even the kids’ menu was solid, which is always a win for us. What really blew us away was how this place outperformed the higher-end restaurants we visited earlier in the trip — and at a fraction of the price. My husband’s steak here was better than what he got at Lido or Vista in Pismo, no joke. From now on, I’ll skip the overpriced fancy spots and head straight back here. It’s a rare combo of great food, relaxed atmosphere, and genuine service that makes you feel like you made the right choice. Highly recommend!

My boyfriend and I went on date to one of our favorite spots Saturday night 825 Blast & Brew! Let me tell you we really enjoy the atmosphere, we love sitting by the window to enjoy that Pismo ocean view while we're having a couple of drinks. Now the food, it is so delicious! We love getting different starters as a meal, because you try a bit of everything. We recommend the steak bites, creamy cheddar Mac & cheese with carnitas, and prime cut cowboy chili so bomb! We also ordered bacon wrapped shrimp, dozen of bone in wings with string fries and extra cheese bread. Great service and friendly staff. We're definitely going to be coming back!

The self serve beer is fun and easy to use. It’s a great way to sample small amounts of beer before you commit to a pint. They charge by the ounce so just be careful when you pour. The was good not great, but the vibes were high. We had a great time.

After looking online for a local place that had some vegetarian options. We chose to try out Blast & Brew. We did the Brussel sprouts for an appetizer, and then I opted for the Santa Maria Vegetarian Pizza, which was absolutely delicious! I would say it was slightly undercooked, with the inner part still being doughy. But the veggies were good, and the pesto/marinara mixed sauce was perfect to accompany the veggies. My husband chose to try the Thai chicken pizza without the chicken and loved it. Our beverages were delicious as well. You can tell the 2nd round had a different bartender mixing them due to some slight flavor differences. We would definitely go back whenever we are in Pismo area.

We really liked this place. The decor was cool. Adrianna our waitress was fast and efficient and took real good care if us. The food was really tasty. We weren't liking the bacon wrapped shrimp. We didn't think it was a good combo taste. Our drinks were exactly what we wanted. This place is highly recommended.

Visited Pismo from out of town. This place was within walking distance from our hotel, so we decided to give it a try and I’m so glad we did. Service from our waiter and hostess was phenomenal. I have gotten a watered down strawberry lemonade before but I spoke up and they gladly fixed it. I would recommend the cowboy burger, turkey sandwich with dip and steak tacos. Honestly the whole menu looks great!!! I will be back soon :)))

I come to Pismo quite often, and I was glad to see the old Marie Calendar's building finally got turned into something fun! Great atmosphere, great drink selection, incredible food, great views, and friendly staff. Will make this a place to stop at going forward!

Always a pleasure to come to this restaurant. I sometimes just want to have a beer 🍺 and watch the game or other times take my mom out for fantastic lunch with a beautiful view.

After looking online for a local place that had some vegetarian options. We chose to try out Blast & Brew. It was very packed up however we got right in and sat by a window. The view was stunning. Our order was put in wrong with the double chicken going on the wrong order yet our server immediately corrected the mistake and brought the chicken. Drinks were very good, I had a spicy peach mecal drink that was super yummy. It was loud inside because there was a ton of people and birthdays, but we were perfectly able to talk and enjoyed ourselves. Thank you for a great dinner!

Great grub, service and view. It's a pub-restaurant style set up. Their house beers are tasty and they have a large list of others to try. Food primary ranges from burger type foods to pizza, wings and salads. They have a kids menu with good options, salads, appetizers along with some entree's if you're looking for something along those ends. The atmosphere is relaxed, the bar area is open to the dining, they have several TV's to catch the game and the ocean views along the west windows are amazing. The Manager is friendly and very on it, and that seems to trickle down to the rest of the Team. Great spots to check out for sure!

This was a great eatery place the only thing is a little bit pricey on certain items that I did not like. The kid's pizza is $7 it is sharible for 2 children. The medium pizza was enough for my children and I and their Burger that my son got was great tasting. It's also conveniently mixed to different hotels which I think is great for families you can just walk there and walk to your hotel.

The atmosphere and the views of this restaurant were pretty amazing. Coming to the food, we liked the nachos, chicken tenders and brussel sprouts. The artisian pizza was not well made and the veggies were uncooked. We complained and they replaced the pizza, but it was still the same. The margaritas were good.

I really liked this spot, the sevice was excellent, it had good people vibes, allowed doggies and it was close to the beach. However I was not happy with my entree.... I ordered the lobster Mac & Cheese and I definitely did not like it all, the cheese was like Velveeta cheese, bacon was like it came out of a jar and im not even sure it was lobster on it, I think it was crab??? 🤷‍♀️ For $21 bucks I thought it would have been better. I did order a mixed drink and that was excellent. All in all a cool little spot to get food and watch sports, I'd visit again, but I would definitely try something else.

Probably my favorite dining option in Pismo. Food is great, atmosphere is vibrant and lively, and staff are pretty friendly. It could be pretty busy some days, and its not the best for large crowds or families with the young, but its still worth checking out.

Beer is always amazing, the bar had a great selection of good beer, but let's be honest it's hard to have a bad brewery if your talking beer. So let's talk about food, the food lacked flavor The hamburger had no real flavor by itself, they use shredded lettuce and the bun was under toasted and it caused my buns to become so soggy it was almost uneatable. I had to finish it with a fork. Nachos were also just okay. Overall nothing special at all.

Place is really cool and the view is worth it. $22 for an ok burger that lacked seasoning was depressing and the clam chowder had a bunch of sand from the clams in it.

I went for a birthday dinner with my family. The food was good, the atmosphere was pleasant but unfortunately our waiter was not too great. Never checked on us for refills or if we needed anything else. I was hoping I could get a birthday dessert but never got the chance. We had to also ask various staff for our check and then to cash us out. Sorry to say we'd never return. 😔

I was seated quickly and a server took my order,asking if I wanted a drink. I told him yes, I wanted to look trough the drink menu I'll be ready in a few minutes. My food arrived and I still did not have a fork. My Chinese chicken salad was ordered with roasted chicken and came with their fried crispy chicken. When I got the fork to eat my salad it was good. My server finally showed up when I was 3/4 done asking if everything was okay, he had obviously forgotten i wanted to order a drink. So, the service was nonexistent, and the food was not what I ordered. Definitely not a good experience.

This is a great place for a family with lots of kids. Very reasonable prices, but you aren't getting high quality food. Brussel sprouts were oily and drenched in some kind of sweet sauce Pizza was no better than frozen If you want clam chowder, Zorros is so much better Beer was good. Lots of it. Tons of screens to watch sports. Waitress was very pleasant, but very busy... This place wasn't for us. We won't be back

I want to bring to your attention the experience we had at your restaurant on Sunday, May 26. Although the food was good, we were disappointed with the level of service provided by our waiter at Table 33. He was not courteous and did not provide satisfactory customer service. Additionally, he made a mistake with one of our orders, bringing a cheeseburger instead of a cheese pizza. We would appreciate it if you could address these concerns. Thank you.

Ordered the 12 dollar wings and the waitress charged 23. A side of fries is 7 dollars that math doesn’t add up either way. Wings were tiny. Beer was foamy and tasted like soap. Would not recommend.

I placed a pick up order a little after 1pm on a Sunday so I would have just enough time to eat before work. First they didn't confirm the order even came through until I called to see if it would be ready. Then when I got the notification my order was ready at 1:40pm I went to get my food, was told 'it will be just a few more minutes' I waited almost 20 with no information from staff on when my food would be ready. I only got one item and the restaurant was not busy. Another guest who placed his order long after me got his order before I did! And all I got was a buffalo Mac and cheese! This place is terrible and not worth the money to wait for nothing!

I may be a little hard on this establishment. I was not impressed at all with 3 tries of their food and service. Two done in restaurant, one take out. Everything in town is pricey but blast &brew is definitely not a place I will be visiting again. I only tried so many times because they were convenient to the hotel I stayed at but there are many other choices I found much better for the money.

We came in with a party of 16 from Bakersfield, we all ordered our food. One of our people ordered the lunch special of tacos. The waitress brought to full plates to him. He had only ordered one plate. Our other guy next to him ordered a pizza. No pizza came out. Our friend with the two taco plates told the waitress he only ordered the one plate of tacos. The waitress took it back. The guy with the pizza whondidnt get his was informed they forgot to put his order in. He eventually got his pizza way after everyone else. When we went to pay the manager came out and told the guy with the tacos that he would have to pay for both meals and brought the other taco plate out boxed up. So it sat in the back for 30 minutes before they told him he was forced to pay. No comps, no help, and no deals on there mess up of two people. Then they messed up all the billing. This was a disgrace. There mess up and we all still had to pay, with 20% tip added to all the bills. WILL TAKE OUR MONEY SOMEWHERE ELSE NEXT TIME. THANKS FOR NOTHING!!

I ask to speak with a manager. Our friends are offering us food that they did not eat. After quite some time, Steve comes to our table. Steve has an attitude. By now, everyone else in our group has finished their dinner and we haven't even been served. Steve is not friendly, his apology is hollow. He says "what do you want me to do" in a short, curt tone. I was not impressed. He says our food will be out in 2 minutes....finally, it arrived and all of our party is waiting for us to finish so we can go. We had to rush our dinner. It took almost 90 minutes for us to get our dinner while everyone else was served at least 40 minutes before we were. Not a good experience...they should have comped at least one of our meals if not both...they did not. In reading the reviews for this restaurant, I noticed that the restaurant never responds to any of the reviews, so management does not care....so, if management doesn't care, then, the employees don't care.
