Fantastic brunch!! I can't decide if the food, service or atmosphere was best because it was all so great. Our whole group was extremely satisfied with their entire meal and drinks. A must stop.

Breakfast was very tasty. The staff are really friendly and helpful. The restaurant was clean and I had an amazing experience.

Really fun spot. Romantic, tasty and gorgeous. Crosby is a stellar server and made us feel well taken care of. We had the steak and tomahawk porkchop, both very good.

I was really impressed with everything here. The views are so beautiful, sit outside. Just beware of very courageous birds that think your food is their food. I don't blame them. The food is spectacular! We ordered the salmon and lox and avocado toast, both excellent choices. Our server, Steve was top notch. He was attentive and very kind. Prices may be kind of high, but I thought it was worth every penny and I will be back to try their other menu items.

Love this place and love the view you can while you eat. Went here with a friend and we liked the ambience and the food. It was a very reasonable size food. I can say that it is very affordable. You might think that it could be expensive, not the case. On a sunny day I would recommend to eat outside. If you cant stand the sun. They also have a wonderful place with a view inside the restaurant. The staff was pretty friendly. During the summer I would recommend to always have reservations, specially during weekends. I recommend this place.

Overall feel wonderful. From environment (superior view), service (excellent) to food (delicious) . All more than above. Specially Thanks our server AJ, he did a really good job and make all customer feeling warm.

Came here to celebrate my Husband's Birthday. The service was wonderful and food and drinks were so great. Also, there are awesome views from the outdoor dining area. Thank you for the wonderful experience. We will definitely visit everytime we're in the area!

Amazing location overlooking the ocean with great food. Make a reservation in advance if you can. We ate here twice on our road trip as we loved the location so much.

One of our absolute favorites! We always visit when we are in the area. Great service and delicious food. The outdoor seating area has a beautiful view where we enjoy sitting with one of the amazing specialty cocktails. Miriam the manager goes above and beyond. She has a wonderful staff and strives to go out of her way to make sure you have a great experience. Hope to see our favorite wine from El Vinero on their menu in the future. :)

I had a wonderful experience this morning that included not only great service from my waitress Abbey, but from all the team members at this fantastic restaurant. I watched as they helped each other with the customers. To top this wonderful breakfast was the omelette that came to my table in record time after ordering it and it was piping hot. The hash brown omelette that I ordered was probably one of the best I have ever had. Bacon, spinach, mushroom and Gouda with a side of fresh fruit. Thank you Marisol restaurant for a truly amazing breakfast.

Excellent restaurant!! Delicious food! Beautiful view! Superb service! I have now visited and enjoyed Marisol on three occasions. Each visit was perfect in every respect. The restaurant facility, patio, and dining room is immaculate. Weather permitting, you can enjoy outside dining on the patio with breathtaking views of the coast and Pacific Ocean. Inside dining is very welcoming and pleasant with a low key, California beach vibe and atmosphere. You may also, if you prefer, use the take out service, as I have, in the past. Regardless of choice of dining, the food is delicious! You will also receive excellent, attentive, gracious service from friendly staff associates. The menu is diverse and offers a little something for everyone and every taste. My personal favorites is the classic wedge salad, cheeseburger and fries and fantastic hashbrowns (breakfast visits). Marisol is an absolute perfect place to gather with friends, family, colleagues or enjoy solo. There is also a fully stocked, full service bar if you're interested in adult libations. If you haven't experienced Marisol, do yourself a favor; go visit and enjoy a delicious dining experience! Marisol is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Charlie was probably one of the best waiters I have ever had! Great customer service and made us feel naturally comfortable. He knew the menu and all his recommendations were on point. We got the sunset margarita, ahi bowl, and fish tacos. 👌View is amazing and relaxing music playing in background. Great overall experience and big thanks to Charlie for making our anniversary special!

Thank-you! This was a very nice place to relax after a stressful day! The clam chowder cup was amazing and so good I almost ordered the bowl. After careful consideration I ordered the burger and I was extremely pleased! Ordered the fries that had a light dusting of cheese (completely forgot the proper name) and was amazing! We will be back👍. Almost forgot...order breakfast this morning, and met a wonderful young lady “Stephanie” who was absolutely a delight to talk to. Thank you and breakfast was Delicious 😃😃👍

The ambiance and the service made it five stars! We're going to be taking every one of our friends and family that come and visit every single time! Highly recommended going just before sunset. Make reservations in advance if possible. Also allow time to walk around the premises.

It's been a long time since I've been at the Cliffs since covid. The food was amazing, OMG!! I ordered the Chateau Top and it was DELICIOUS 😋! The waiter was so nice and friendly, but the only thing I recommend is that he should wait until someone is done with their food before taking it. The restaurant has amazing views of the beach! Definitely coming back!

I read a few reviews and except one person, who should not go eat out with all the food restrictions she mentioned, they were positive. We came for breakfast and were not disappointed. The service was excellent. The food was great too. The Egg Benedict dish was great, not easy to make. Hash browns were a bit inconsistent between plates, there is always a space for improvement. The views of the ocean, outside seating - they have it all. Will visit again! Free parking at the resort, there is valet parking too. Easy access from 101 freeway if you are passing by like we did.

You can’t beat the view, and apparently you can’t beat the food either! Just a quick lunch with a friend turned into a delicious meal. We’re shared the salad (forgot the name) with quinoa (just the right amount), and the huevos rancheros with soyrizo. My vegetarian tummy was so happy!

Great place for breakfast with lovely ocean views and a cozy fireplace to sit next to if you like. Both indoor and outdoor seating. Food came out super fast, within minutes. Their Eggs Benedict and filet mignon breakfast burrito were excellent. But that and some coffee, tax and tip ran about $60, and they didn't refill the coffee.

Stopped by for a quick lunch at Pismo beach. Beautiful and relaxing atmosphere, excellent food and great service. Portions are large, great value.

Beautiful restaurant. The service was fantastic. The food was delicious. Try the clam chowder. It's the best I ever had. Beautiful view can go outside the restaurant and walk and enjoy the beach view .

We loved our lunch at Marisol. The staff was very kind and helpful. I remarked on some beautiful strawberries someone had, and she and another manager brought us bowl to enjoy before our meal. They were the best! Service from Caleb was quick and accommodating. The views are great, parking is easy. Would definitely recommend to a friend.

Food was excellent. We order tomahawk pork chops, filet mignon. Ribeye steak, wedge salad, desserts.. all were excellent. Our server,excellent. Couldn't have asked for better.

The restaurant manager Emily did such an amazing job making the Marisol 2026 Valentine’s Day dinner fabulous — thank you!! The husband and wife team of Executive Chef Troy Tolbert and Executive Sous Chef Nayeli Tolbert are absolutely outstanding - hope they stay forever!! Our waiter Ian consistently provides excellent service with such a charming demeanor! It’s always a pleasure to dine at Marisol for brunch/lunch/dinner.

I can't say enough good things about Marisol. Stayed at the Cliffs for honeymoon in '24 and ate at Marisol about 5-6 times despite many other options; we just couldn't get enough. Returned recently and had the same wonderful experience. Food is excellent whether for breakfast, happy hour appetizers, or dinner. The grassy bay oysters are some of the best available, and the honeydew granita served with them was brilliant & unforgettable. We were able to alternate between decadent dinners, and lighter meals over the course of our trip, which kept us going back. Service is 5 stars. Some of the best we've ever experienced. Kudos to all the hosts, servers, and bartenders who have been so hospitable. Ambience is also 5 stars, whether seated on the patio at breakfast or sunset, in the bar for happy hour, or fireside in the dining room. The fireside spot will always give us fond memories of our honeymoon & anniversary. We will always return to Marisol. This place has surprisingly come to mean a lot to us, so a huge thank you to everyone involved! ❤️

My wife and I went here for her birthday dinner. Every aspect of the experience was excellent. I especially want to shout out our waiter, Crosby, who went above and beyond to take great care of us. Thank you!

The menu was limited, and the steak was small. It came with fries and no option to choose a different side. I was hungry but don’t really like fries, and there was no alternative :( The steak itself was actually good and tasty, just a really small portion. The sauces were delicious. The service was excellent, and the view was stunning. It was such a pleasure to watch the ocean.

A pretty outdoor patio with good food. We came here twice during our trip and we love the shell spritz! Got it twice! Their specials were good too along with the lunch burrito. Super friendly and dog friendly!

Great service and atmosphere. The food was highly variable. Breakfast was the best bet, lunch second, dinner was not good particularly given the pricing.

The food was good as well as the service. I gave the food a 4 star rating because the rib eye steak was salty and the chicken breast was with bone in which was not said on the menu. I was also told the zucchini sqauch was going to be a very small portion but was surprised it was served as a main portion of the plate as you can see in the picture. Nachos were great tho definitely recommend. Overall quality and service were good but not great. Will try come back and try other food and hopefully give them 5 stars.

So very happy to see a bar offering options of delicious mocktails! Being able to drink with friends and toast with more than a shirley temple is a real treat! Of course the view here is incredible. The dish we ordered, appetizer nachos, were simple but great. Chips were still crunchy despite the generous cheese, beans, and guac. Valet parking is free for customers of the restaurant. For the price point, having a little more shade on the deck would complete the luxury package and make the atmosphere complete.

We stayed at the Cliff and Spa resort in Pismo Beach and wanted to try out the hotel restaurant for lunch. It turned out to be a great choice to have lunch at the Marisol. The restaurant sits on top of a cliff right above the ocean. All outdoor seatings are greeted with a great view of the ocean and a nice breeze. Despite the scorching summer heat, the outdoor dining was very pleasant. The foods are above average. This restaurant is very popular with tourists and locals alike. Most of the time, the restaurant is full. When we had our lunch here at around 2pm, the place was still packed. We had a perfect table right on the edge of the patio with a 180 degree view of the ocean. Our server was very nice and helped us select some delicious lunch. The calamari for the appetizer was fantastic. The sweet and sour sauce was a delightful compliment to the fried Calamari. As for the food, both of our grilled peach burrata and clam chowder soup were delectable. The grilled peach went well with the burrata cheese for the summer. The clam chowder was awesome as Pismo Beach is know for its clam chowders. For people that are visiting Pismo Beach, Marisol is definitely a good choice to have a meal and enjoy the ocean view especially during the sunset hour.

Nachos/taquitos were worth the money, clam chowder was okay . The deserts were definitely over priced as they were mediocre (dulce pie,torte) the hostesses at the front were a bit snobby. I liked that we could take our food to go and had many seating/view options around the hotel.

Fish tacos were thumbs down. No flavor, taco shells too small. No space in taco shells for condiments. There should be a selection for deep fried or grilled fish. Lance our waiter was great. Best view of ocean in shell beach

Appetizers were all a bust for me. Crab cakes was almost 35-40% crab (wish it was lump crab) and the rest was everything else. Taquitos was pretty bland, I know their was chicken in there, but I only tasted potatoes more. The ribeye rub was really good. Risotto was good too, though the celery? chunks were a bit too much and too big. The pistachio pesto parmesan crust on halibut was good. Although, they're was slightly a bit too much parmesan, but it was still an excellent dish. Broccoli Rabe could have used more seasoning.

We had dinner at the Marisol which was good and the staff was friendly. We had one old fashioned and one Pismo Beach Punch ( which in my opinion did not have enough alcohol given that it was $17). They did however, forget it was a birthday so no extras even though they asked when we checked into the restaurant if we were celebrating anything special and it was on the notes when reservation was made. We had 2 lattes on different mornings. The first time very good and you get a complimentary delicious cookie and rock sugar on a stick. The second morning I asked for the same drink extra hot, it came luke warm and they remade it. I guess for $8 that's what you get. We also ate lunch poolside had a club sandwich we shared which was delicious and huge and it came with fries that were actually warm.

The view is the attraction here. Chloe is a very good server. I ordered a Cesar salad with steak and unfortunately a lovely steak came chopped into tiny bits. The cheesecake was good but a tiny sliver was $15.

Bad experience overall. Got a parchment paper in my hamburger. Asked for medium got a well done. Friends and family had similar bad experiences. Nice view though. See my pictures. Update to owner’s comment: I did share the fact I got paper in my hamburger sandwich with our waitress and her manager. They only said they would share the fact there was paper in the food with the kitchen, but nothing more than that.
