Friday, I ordered honey walnut prawns lunch special. But when I went to start my car, it was dead! I called Uncle Wang to let them know I wasn't going to be able to make it in to pick up my food! And they offered to deliver it for me.. but I was calling for a tow service and missed their call... After I had a new battery put in my car today, I decided to drive back to Uncle Wang's to apologize in person and give them the money that the order would have been for yesterday! You know what they did? They made me my honey walnut prawns and wouldn't let me leave without them! Thank you so much Uncle Wang. Your food is delicious and you went above and beyond to make my day after such a stressful week with my car. You are forever in my prayers. Thank you and God Bless You! Angela

Very friendly staff and the spicy beef with basil was AMAZING. It's reasonably priced and such a cute small restaurant. Does defiantly deserve more customers coming in, hopefully they get notice more and bring in more customers.

Uncle Wang's was a place of last resort. Everything wise was closed. What a great surprise though. The food was delicious and the place had an excellent energy. I'll be going there again.

All I Can say is WOW! The food here is AMAZING! I have tried pretty much every Chinese Restaurant in Pittsburg and the surrounding cities and Uncle Wang is BY FAR the best I have had. My party ordered the Honey Walnut shrimp, which was absolute FIRE! Not like the typical soggy over battered stuff at the other restaurants. It was perfectly crispy, with good size quality shrimp. Perfect amount of sauce with great flavor. We also got the Cashew Chicken, which was super good. The chicken was cooked perfectly, not dry or rubbery like the other places I've been. The seasoning and sauce was perfect. Chicken chow mein was great, noodles were cooked perfectly and the seasoning was perfect. Usually when we get chow mein at other places the taste can be bland, but not here! Last but not least, the Chicken Wings!!! OMG so fire, crispy, juicy, and seasoned to perfection! I can eat the wings everyday! I LOVE that none of the food was greasy and everything was super fresh! Uncle Wang is definitely my go to spot from now on such a hidden gem.

Great place , the honey walnut shrimp was amazing ! The kungpao chicken ,chowmein and fried rice were prepared well ! I can’t complain about this place everything meshed and the owner was extremely nice ! I do recommend eating there as the food experience is night and day ! Remember to order the salt and pepper wings!

The restaurant is in a very convenient location. I have been there a couple of times. The place is clean and well-maintained. When I sit there, I feel comfortable and relaxed. The food is tasty, fresh, and reasonably priced. When I don’t know what to eat or want authentic Chinese food, I think of Uncle Wang. It’s worth a try!

Uncle Wang’s Chinese Restaurant is an absolute treasure. From the moment you walk in, you're greeted with warm hospitality and a cozy, welcoming atmosphere. The menu offers a wide variety of authentic dishes. The fried rice and chow mein was top tier. The asparagus was hands down the best I've ever had. I also got the Beijing Beef, so flavorful and we'll seasoned. My favorite has to be the chicken wings, this is a must when you go here. So crispy but also tender and juicy. What really sets Uncle Wang’s apart is the attention to detail and quality. The staff is attentive, friendly, and always ready to make recommendations. I loved how the entire staff was super friendly and all of them had a smile on their faces. I've been to plenty of restaurants where the staff looked like they didn't want to be there which killed the vibe but it was completely different here. Highly recommend for anyone craving delicious, authentic Chinese food. Uncle Wang’s has definitely earned a new customer! I plan on bringing my family here soon!

So good! Highly recommend. Great ambiance and great food! The orange chicken, chow mein, and Kung Pao chicken are my favorites. The food was simple but flavorful—it reminds me of home, something my mom would make. The place is clean, and the staff was friendly and attentive. Definitely coming again!

The food taste and quality completely changed. The spring rolls weren’t done right, they had a more wet texture. The broccoli was too oily, the beef was too wet and not cooked enough. The combo fried rice, beef chow mein, crab puff, etc.. all lost its flavor. The orange chicken was ok. I’m willing to give them another try again next month. Hopefully the new owners read the reviews and make some better changes.. oh, and the prices have gone up a bit.

I ordered sweet and sour chicken, they treated me like they just wanted me out of the Restaurant as soon as I arrived. I don't know why, I was clean and well dressed. I asked if I could have the item served over rice and was told flat out no. So I bought a side of rice which was hard to navigate inside my car with the main dish. They presented me with a broken to go box (two gaping holes in it) with no fork, and no napkin at the end. The food tastes pretty good. The chicken was not over fried, and the veggies were fresh. The service just sucked. It felt like I was treated second rate.

Uncle Wangs was sold , the new owners just haven’t gotten the recipes right. I loved the basil chicken, I bought it tonight there wasn’t a jalapeño pepper in site, lots of bamboo shoots, they skimped on the chicken and the red bell peppers. I also bought chicken fried rice, there was approximately 10 pieces of chicken in the rice and the rice was flavorless and dry ! I’ve enjoyed Uncle Wangs every week and sometimes two times a week for years bringing family and friends under the original owners. Sadly those days of good eating are gone. I’m looking for another Chinese restaurant.
