Chilangos Mexican Grill

Chilangos Mexican Grill has absolutely amazing birria tacos, and the people who work there are friendly and nice. My daughter, who took me there for birria tacos - which are her new addiction, said this is the very best birria! She's right!- anyway, she was recently introduced to them by her friend, who heard about them from her coworker. Once you go I'm sure you'll tell your friends and this awesome small business will thrive, just by word of mouth. I went with my daughter late on Sunday and they were wrapping up to close a bit early, however they opened the door and were very friendly ... they made it absolutely clear that we were welcome, and my daughter and I agreed that it felt genuine. Our food was served fairly quickly and the tortilla that gets dunked in the consomme and grilled was crispy with melted cheese and delicious birria meat. I plan on going back and trying all the different menu items.

An authentic gem!! Highly recommend the birria tacos, churros, and the cutest (real tequila) margaritas. Very kind waitress, but the place was packed on a Monday night so she was busy! Can't wait to come back for 40% taco Tuesdays.

Delicious food at an unbelievably affordable price! This place was hard to find but all good things are hard to come by. The food was simply amazing. We got passion fruit margaritas, queso birria tacos, sea food rice, and a corn dish. Everything was absolutely to die for. We ate everything! Only thing is the margaritas are a bit weak but they're only $6 so I didn't care much. Definitely come by this place!

I visit this place on Sunday and by far it’s the best Mexican that I’ve had in a while! Tacos where delicious it’s a small place but it’s cozy ! Not thinking that it’s Tuesday we’ll we got 650 pm had to wait like 30 mins for a table because it’s pack due to Taco Tuesday 40%off in any taco usually are 3 dollars a piece so for almost half of the price it’s worth the wait just I recommend to be ready to wait and order all at once since the to go and the restaurant it self gets so packed waiting for the waiter to come back and be able to check on your drinks or anything else it’s a bit challenging!! Specially since there’s 3 girls working the front of the house ! And one it’s strictly in order to go and phone order so imagine how hard can be to get a waitress attention, its the only downside on taco Tuesday just be prepare to wait but it’s worth it!! Food again didn’t disappoint at all even the guacamole was on point !!!!

Chose this place for late night takeout and never regretted the decision. It is a hidden gem, literally, it took time for me to find this place as it was hiding behind the trees and it is at the corner. Tried their Enchiladas with red and green sauces. Both were amazing. No complains on the serving portion or the quality and if you are a spice lover, ask for their spicy sauce, contrary to what other places say about their spicy sauce, this one is really spicy (in a good-way). Also, tried their guava drink which was outstanding as well. Overall great experience and Customer service was smooth along with the quick turn around of the order.

Everyone always asks me where they can get good, authentic Mexican food and I finally found the spot! I was blown away by how good their birria tacos are. I also got a sope, and a burrito and all passed the taste test! My brother and sister also loved all their food. I'm telling all my friends and family about this spot and we're all coming back. The place is decorated so cute too. Lots of authentic Mexican decor. Only thing is, the place is small! Since it's so good, I don't know how they're gonna fit everyone in!

Omg the food here is so amazing and flavorful and authentic, I felt compelled to gatekeep this restaurant but I just HAVE to share. I want them to thrive so I can continue going here in the future. Right as you come in, its self sitting and the staff immediately greets you warmly with a small bowl of, what seems to be, homemade salsa and chips. They are both very good but I would highly recommend that you dont eat too much of this complementary service because ur gonna need space in your stomach for what comes next. My bestie and I got a medium bowl of homemade guac and more chips to start and OMG....I fell in love with the guac. Im talking I wanted to write odes to its beauty and flavor. I wanted to be romantic with it and take it home with me. I pictured my future with this amazing bowl of guac. It was a very emotional appetizer for me. However i did fall into the typical latin trap. I cheated on my guac. I felt bad neglecting it when my entree got to the the table, but I just HAD to. Oh lord I wasnt ready for this attack on my taste buds. The enchiladas suizas were so freaking amazing! I got it with salsa verde, rice, and beans. Ufffff it honestly made me forget that I was in a committed relationship with the bowl guac. After this im gonna have to set my status to 'its complicated' because I didnt even know who I was anymore after stepping out of this restaurant. Anyways, I highly highly recommend. Also the juices are all natural and very sweet, but also HUGE! beware of the juices🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤

Love the taco platter! You get your choice of 3 tacos with a side of rice and beans. I love actual beans and not the mushy refried ! Everything was tasty. Also ordered a Horchata which was excellent, will definitely return. Friendly staff too.

But my fish tacos were so fresh and full of flavor. My partner ordered the birria tacos and she really like them too! She also ordered the arroz con leche and she didnt even have to say a word cause her face said it all when it lit up with joy. This place is right next to me so I'll be visiting again shortly!

Chilangos is a must try! Very small family restaurant but definitely a lot of traffic especially on Taco Tuesday. Although the tacos could have been a bit bigger, the food was amazing! The service was good as well. If you do not have patience to wait on your food then avoid going on Tuesday other than that, this place is worth a try and I will definitely make it a regular go to spot

The tortillas were warm and fresh, and I loved how the toppings added the perfect balance of crunch and freshness. A little squeeze of lime and their salsa took it to another level. The portion was generous, and I left feeling completely satisfied. You can tell they use quality ingredients and put care into making every taco. Hands down, some of the best steak tacos I’ve ever had—I’ll definitely be coming back for more!

I went for lunch with my friend. The restaurant was very quiet. It is a horrible location because there is no parking available in front of the building. You either gotta park in the back (which doesn't look too safe) or in the plaza next to it, which only has like 4 spots available. We shared 4 tacos. We got 2 queso birria tacos. They were the best queso birria tacos I've ever had (outside my home of course). The tortilla was a bit crunchy, the cheese perfectly melted, the meat was tender and well seasoned, and the broth was delicious. We also shared one carnitas taco (perfectly seasoned pork). It was the best carnitas pork taco ever. The taste of the manteca that the pork is cooked in was great. We also got one carne asada taco. It was just ok, nothing out of this world. I ordered one glass of horchata and I've definitely had better horchata and don't think it was worth $5. For dessert we got the churros with nutela. The churros were filled with cajeta (which we did not enjoy). So the waitress was nice enough to take them off our check. Overall the restaurant was simple and the waitress was nice and attentive. I think i would go back but the parking situation might make me choose take out instead of the dining in.

I had a really great experience at Chilango's! Loved the authentic atmosphere and vibe from the moment you walk in. Lots of small details in the decor to the serving cups. The food was great especially the queso Barilla tacos (prob the best I've had), steak tacos, and the esqitues. The chips could use some improvements since they were cold and a little stale. I suggest keeping the chips warm under a warmer as they could be great considering they seem home made. Also the shrimp taco was just okay. The drinks were good too, I suggest the big tequila drink pictured below over the margaritas though! Overall I recommend for an authentic Mexican food experience!

Service are great place beutifull i really like the deco, food can be lit better detail like in the pastor tacos put some pineaple, rice and beens under seasoned, the margarita need more flavor and tequilaaaa but in general service was great and i will comeback tacos de lengua and carnitas perfect !! Also tacos de cabeza 👍👍 the waitress great job

The food is pretty good,very authentic, handmade, they are very clean. They only need to change the people in the front counter, they forget to give items and if asked,they are totally rude about it. 10miles at my work site ,I realized they still forgot things like napkins, spoons to eat, I was in the middle of nowhere with no utensils.

The food is OK. I can make better Mexican food at home. The food is mediocre similar to lunch food. I ordered at this restaurant and the lady forgot to put in my order. I gave her extra time to prepare the food and when I came back, I saw her getting yelled at by the chef because she forgot to put in the order and it took approximately 50 minutes to fulfill a simple order. I saw many people in front of me that ordered in the restaurant after I left and came back get their food before me. Additionally, the food wasn’t even good when it came out after the long wait highly would not recommend going there.

This used to be my favorite place for tacos and quesabirria. Their service has gotten very slow especially on busy nights. They have raised prices and are skimping in little things like salsa. The tacos are 20% smaller. I cannot wait 50 mins for food, so it is a deal breaker for me. Sorry.

Horrible, horrible, horrible service! The female they have as a waitress has zero personality. I got not even a hello when I entered the door she looked at me and walked off sadt at the bar for 10 minutes. I Had to ask for a menu when I got the menu it was wet and old .. the bar was sticky and there was still dirty glasses all over. .. I understand there may have been a rush, but at the time there was only one person doing a takeout and a couple seated as you can see in my video ..I wanted to ask questions about the food because I was planning on doing a whole Thing with all different types of food seems like I was annoying her ..I’m from Jamaica and I love Tamarind.. I ordered a Tamarind soda and it was horrible. Not their fault they didn’t make it ..The place was hot, no AC and had an overwhelming and powerful smell of gasoline. My nose is still burning. This place was recommended but when I told my experience, several people confirmed that this is the normal behavior .. at this point I just wanted to get out of there as quickly as possible and never look back !!! Go where your money will be appreciated because it is not here! I do not recommend this place at all. If a good dining experience is what you seek..
