Restaurant in the main square of Plasencia The food was spectacular. Everything was delicious. The three of us left, and we couldn't even walk because we were so full. The pans were so delicious, and the sandwiches with that bread were fantastic. The service was super friendly, and they served us very well. The food came out quickly and in a timely manner. They have their own ice cream shop in Xixona, and what more can I say? They gave my little son an ice cream. He left with a smile from ear to ear. We will return. The atmosphere was very peaceful, and we ate under the portico in the shade where the air was breezy, and it was amazing with the heat. A very good experience. I hope to return. We didn't find any complaints.

Arriving from Castro Urdiales and feeling at home is priceless. It's the perfect place to have a beer, dinner, and breakfast with toast with ham, tomato, and olive oil, all gluten-free and gluten-free. What a treat! Everything was delicious and the service was spectacular; we had a wonderful time. Thank you so much.

We arrived late and were quickly given a table. The meat was spectacular, the ham croquettes were delicious, Dioni was a great waiter, the desserts were delicious, and the ice cream was delicious. We'll definitely be back.

The waiter's service and the food were excellent. We've been there several days, eating lunch and dinner at different places, and this is the best in the area. It's a shame we went on our last day because it was closed earlier. They were very attentive with the bill, and it's definitely one of the best places to eat for the price. We will definitely return if we come back to Plasencia.

This is the pinnacle of extremenian food, the menu del día is cheap, and the quality is the exact same level of home cooking. We had typical migas and lentil soup for starter, and carrilleras and caldreta de cordero for main course. Pudding and flan for dessert. All this for €32 including glass of beer and wine, and bread. Waiter Miguel was helpful and funny. Whoop whoop

Delicious tiramisu!!

Lugar emblemático con una gran trayectoria en el sector, es verdad que éstos últimos años han ido innovando y metiendo cosas nuevas en la carta, y ésta ultima vez que estuvimos probamos cosas diferentes fuera de carga y he de decir chavalada que acertamos de lleno, la carne en su punto junto con un paté gourmet de perdiz espectacular, y el canelón la imagen habla por si sola. Muy recomendable y personal atento en todo momento.

Todo lo que pedimos de carta estaba buenísimo, sobre todo las alcachofas al horno con pancetta. Consomé buenísimo, casera, buena relación calidad precio.

Great location, took a bit of time to persuade serving team to take our order although drinks came pretty quickly. We had a starter and mains. My wife's chicken starter, chicken in breadcrumbs with sauce dips was tasty but a little dry but my calamari was fine. We opted for hamburgers for our mains and to be fair they were very good and cooked precisely as we had asked. A bottle of Rioja was well priced as was the Cointreau, albeit I had to explain to the waiter that the Fanta limon ordered was not for mixing with the Cointreau, no I didn't want oranges and lemons!! A pleasantish way to spend a couple of hours

Llegamos a comer sobre las 3 una mesa de 5. 3 adultos y 2 niños. Se pide tanto bebida como comida junto. la bebida la sirven emseguida como a los 45 minutos de estar esperando nos traen la sarten de huevos rotos con torreznos pa un niños y un menu infantil para otro(2 pechugas a la placha patatas fritas y 3 croquetas) los demas seguimos esperando. a las 4.15 llego al fin nuestra comida caldereta de cordero estaba frio manillas de cerdo tambien frias y solomillo iberico al ajillo seco y frio. habiamos pedido una ensalada de zorongollo con ventresca de atun y huevo la cual nunca salio y vino el dueño cuando ya estamos comiendo que si faltaba algo le indicamos q la ensalada no la habian sacado y q habiamos pedido pan y tampoco nos trajeron pan. Al rato volvio el dueño diciendo que no habia zorongollo intentamos pedir un entrecot y nos dijo que ya no se podia xq tendriamos que esperar 1 hora. El camarero Ebaristo muy atento el otro camarero ni caso al que le pedimos la ensalada y el pan, y otra camarera la que nos saco los platos la tuvimos que decir lo que era cada cosa nos especifico que llevaba 3 dias trabajando y no se sabia aun los platos. Ya que no nos la manera que tienen de servir no nos molestamos ni en postre ni en cafe. Como dato dentro del menu infantil de postre era una bola de helado la cual tuvimos que reclamar a las 16.30 y comerla x el camino xq se les habia olvidado. Personalmente no volvere

Simplemente creo que por ser de fuera me han timado. El camarero parecía que no nos veía hasta que tuve que entrar dentro a pedir y aún así salió, atendió otra mesa, se volvió a ir y después volvió a salir. Con las dos copas de caña ni siquiera nos sacó un triste cacahuete o una triste aceituna. Y al pagar... Primero nos dicen que son 1.90 por una caña y una tapa para mí pareja y literalmente una albóndiga para mí. Y al decir mi pareja... "Tb tenemos dos cañas de antes, que estábamos fuera". No cobran 2.10 de la misma caña, 1.70 de la albóndiga y 3.20 por cada caña de las de antes, más caro que en muchos sitios de Madrid y encima la albóndiga era medio medio. Un auténtico timo de bar para "los de fuera". Además fueron de los más poco simpático. Para "los de fuera"... No vayáis!!! Tb diré que poco después de salir del bar, un vecino hablaba de lo poco que gastamos los forasteros en el pueblo... Vamos, que para ellos somos un euro con patas!!! Una auténtica lástima que vayas a un bar con ese nombre y dónde deberías sentirte como en casa y que al llegar te sientas como nos sentimos nosotros ayer. No quiero hacer más incapié en ello, simplemente añadiré que me parece una auténtica vergüenza de lugar.

After waiting 30 minutes and calling the terrace waiter twice (a chubby guy with an earring in his left ear) to clear the drinks previously ordered by other customers and take our order, he said, "I'll tell my colleague." No one showed up, so we obviously left. We'd heard bad things about this place, but we decided to take a chance anyway. We won't be back. We were also struck by the unkempt appearance of some of the terrace waiters.

We had a couple of beers (€3 each) sitting on the terrace. The waiter completely ignored us and took forever to notice us, even though all the other tables were being served. He didn't even bring us an olive, even though other tables had a variety of snacks. We asked for an appetizer to go with our beers, and then... no rush... no rush at all, the bill... It's a shame that a place like this has such poor service. 😶‍🌫️

We had an evening meal which was ok, definitely a place that tourists eat, not locals. We came back the next morning as only a few places were open and we were not surprised to be served a very poor quality coffee. Additionally we had to wait 30 minutes as only 1 waiter was serving. Unfortunately we were in a rush and we didn't have time to find somewhere else but at the end it costs us as we had to wait 30 minutes. I would recommend not going to the Plaza Mayor restaurants if you don't want to have a bad experience.
