Pide su especialidad Pescado frito, delicioso, súper doradito, es bastante grande, pero te Dan platos aparte para que puedas compartir. No tiene estacionamiento, pero justo enfrente la calle de enfrente tienen parkimetro y puedes utilizarlo. El ambiente es agradable y los mesereros siempre están al pendiente.

Bueno bueno sin dudarlo mi restaurante favorito de mariscos y que tal juntitito de ahí la tienda para que elijas que langosta o que pescado te prepararán, date el lujo de comer el mejor ceviche. El mejor pulpo y el mejor servicio de chavos que hoy tenemos el grato honor de conocerlos desde hace 16 años que venimos por primera vez. Las fotos, langosta, chivitas, pulpo y una muy buena cerveza bien fría, precios al alcance de todos

🐠 El Pirata 🏴‍☠️ En esta ocasión tuvimos la oportunidad de visitar este famoso lugar en Playa del Carmen. ⚠️NO ACEPTAN TARJETAS⚠️❌ Tuvimos la oportunidad de probar el caldo de camarón, las empanadas de cazón y los camarones empanízanos, la porción es bastante grande y la relación calidad precio es buena. Las medidas sanitarias no son tan buenas, es un tema que deben de mejorar bastante…. No por ser un lugar concurrido deben de relajar este aspecto. Por último, estás asistiendo a un lugar de barrio, con platillos clásicos, si estás en plata del Carmen y quieres comer bien no dudes en ir y pedir un pescado frito!! Recomendación del pirata, el pescado frito!!

Hoy estuve con mi familia en El Pirata, después de ir a la playa y la verdad que me pareció muy rico,bien servido y sobre todo tranquilo y buen ambiente familiar, comimos 6 personas ceviches, pulpo y camarones al mojo de Ajo, empanadas de camarón, agüitas, cerveza y refresco a un precio razonable.

Aquí no se viene a posar, se viene a comer rico!! El pulpo al ajillo estuvo delicioso! Porciones grandes, atención muy buena, definitivamente será visita obligada en cada vuelta que de. Gracias.

Muy buen lugar para comer mariscos y pescado fresco. Manejan un volumen muy grande de comensales tanto nacionales, turistas y locales. El lugar no es lujoso, los baños están limpios. Los precios son standard un cóctel de pulpo grande cuesta 200 pesos, lo mismo que en cualquier otro restaurante. Yo recomiendo mucho el pirata por la frescura de las frutas de mar.

La comida muy rica, muy bien ubicado, limpio buen servicio, siempre lleno aún así te atienden rápido me encantó el único detalle el pago solo efectivo. Ojalá cobrarán con tarjeta en fuera excelente el lugar.

BEST PLACE IN ALL PLAYA DEL CARMEN! I haven’t been to the restaurant, but have ordered twice until now. I have ordered desserts and coffee. All I can say is that this is the most delicious food and place that I have ever tried in all these 9 years that been living here. The desserts don’t only have good presentation, but the flavor is unreal and the ingredients are fresh. It tastes fresh made and you can tell every single ingredient in it. I must say this place surpasses all of the coffee places I’ve been to here in Playa. I am beyond speechless and I highly recommend it to you. Next time I will go in person, as I would like to try their main courses and pizza. Don’t think about it anymore. Can't miss bakery, get off 5th avenue one block and the food scene improves dramatically. I had the Francesca Combo (croissant, fruit and yoghurt, orange juice and cappuccino) and upgraded to a pistachio croissant. That croissant might be the best thing I've eaten this trip. Must try.

4.5 stars rounded up to 5 Great place for breakfast/brunch! I got the black croissant and the pistacino, and my bf got the poached eggs w americano. The pistacino is not too sweet (although to be honest it’s not super pistachio flavored). The food was solid. I wish the croissant was crispier but def understand that with the humidity it’s probably impossible to maintain the croissant’s texture. The service was top notch and prompt. because I ordered off the “express” menu and my bf ordered off the normal brunch menu, our dishes came at different times, and the waitresses came by several times to give us updates on when his dish would be ready. We also got a fruit tart for dessert and it was A+! Crumbly buttery crust, fresh fruit, and the custard was not too dense.

Delicious bakery! Definitely on the sweeter & pricier end... The croissant did not have as much lamination as in Paris, it was a bit dough-y... but still, delicious!

Francesca’s was the first place we stumbled upon after dropping our luggage. We landed early & was greeted/serviced by the sweetest staff. It’s a very calm, relaxing place with good energy. Also a great place to work as there’s soooo many outlets and seat options. There’s tons of amazing pastries, I loved the pistachio croissant & they have some amazing juices too (rainbow and energy were our go tos!) We were often served by Esmeralda and she is the absolute sweetest person ever! We shared that we were celebrating our anniversary and during our last visit she hugged us good by and gave us well wishes. Literally all the staff is so patient and amazing. All the food we tried was really good and very fresh! Definitely recommend.

Amazing pastries in this Italian restaurant - among the best ever. We - my wife and I - went there twice as it was just next door in our three days in Playa. First, fantastic tiramisu, real top Italian. Second, “diplomatic”, great, super tasty, creamy pastry. The prices are a bit higher but the quality is incredible. Los precios están bien, considerando están a un lado de la Quinta. Muy rico la verdad pero no tenían ostiones ni mi pescado al mojo porque ya llegué tarde jajaja ahora sí que hay que llegar temprano o antes de las 2 para alcanzar de todo. Obvio que se les acabe estando rico y baratillo. Por cierto, la atención es muy buena.

La comida que probé fue muy buena. camarones y pescado frito. Eso sí es caro, creo que se compensa con el sabor. Pero resta mucho el lugar, y la atención. Solo aceptan efectivo.

Los platos abundantes! El arroz a la tumbada una delicia,y la langosta una delicia! Lo único a mejorar sería pesarle a la vista el peso de langosta ( o por lo menos a nosotros no nos lo hicieron al elegirla) Las personas del servicio muy agradables y amables. Great huge croissants with vanilla cream. Cappuccino unfortunately tasted more like milk than coffee. A small negative point is that the cashier is always asking if you want to leave tips when you pay by card, so you just feel too bad to refuse. You leave the tip and end up overpaying for just a takeout food that is already not very cheap, and since you order takeout, no special service is provided, so it’s not really clear why we should leave tips. But of course they know, if you don’t ask for tips, you won’t get them :) Smart I guess, but leaves a sad feeling. Granted, all the staff were super nice and friendly though.

I purchased the ricotta and spinach spanakopita and the caramel de leche dessert- both reheated. Much to my surprise, the food lacked flavor. I had to add a lot of salt to enhance the taste and even with that, it was sub-par. The prices on their menu are astronomical with a pizza being close to upward of $15US. I’d hope the pizzas are better than the pre-made food. In terms of service, the people behind the counter were friendly as well as a gentleman that was helping us outside. However, when we moved inside due to a musician coming to play and wanting less noise to hear one another, the new staff member would not leave us alone. We had already ordered and finished our food but was continuing to stay to hangout (the restaurant was not packed at all). She had us moving tables to make room for people when more than half the restaurant was empty, continuously interrupted us whilst we had already told her numerous times we’d already ate from a different table but moved due to the music - and check-ins are fine, but this was aggressive and incessant to the point where I had to kindly ask her to stop. She also refused to serve us glasses of water saying we could only buy a bottle, so I went to the counter and they gave us the glasses with ice no problem. It was overall just a weird situation that left a poor taste in my mouth. I think if you’re coming from another place that has solid pastries and Italian food at home - or are Italian yourself - this food won’t impress you. No gluten free alternatives. No vegan options

LES RECOMIENDO A LOS CLIENTES QUE ELLOS MISMOS SUMEN EL TOTAL DE LA CUENTA! (ya que todo es super manual) Nos llevaron la cuenta y el total que mencionan ahí ya tiene ese 10% “OPCIONAL” y estoy súper segura que mucha gente no se da cuenta y deja el doble de propina! OJO, en ningún momento el mesero comentó que ya venía incluido ese 10% en la cuenta. De igual manera, no están súper wow los mariscos.

¡¡¡No pidan su orden para llevar!!! El día de ayer pedí una orden para llevar y para mi sorpresa no la mandaron completa. No es la primera vez que me cobran y no me dan la orden completa. La primera vez pensé que fue un error, ya después de la tercera me doy cuenta que le roban a sus clientes ya que al pedir para llevar la mayoría no tenemos la costumbre de abrir recipiente por recipiente para verificar la orden. Al entregarme la orden tuve que pedir que me hagan el recibo ya que no me lo querían dar. Pedí que me lo elaboren y con un poco de resistencia me lo hicieron. Es claro que no me querían hacer el recibo para que no pueda meter la queja de que me habían robado por tercera vez.
