We have just had the best dinner and service at Los Aguachiles! We were a huge group (14) and wanted separate bills and the whole high maintenance thing and these guys rocked it! Not to mention the food was delicious. Thank you Aguachiles !
We've been eating at various Aguachiles locations over the years, and the flavors never dissapoint. Fresh tuna tostadas are simply scrumptious.
This is our favourite restaurant in all of Playa Del Carmen. Not only do they have the best margaritas, they also have the best corn, the best shrimp and the best tostadas. I dream about this place when we are not in Mexico. The flavours are 10/10. The price is reasonable for the quality of food. Even my kids love it. The servers are always friendly and so accommodating. I recommend this place to everyone to try out! Great outdoor patio vibes. We love it here!
In a span of our week stay we visited Aguachiles 3 times and every time it was incredible. The feature Aguachiles platter was one of our favourites and on our last visit we had the horny shrimp and this was easily one of the best things we ate all week in Playa. Would recommend the Passionfruit Mezcalita too.
They have a great outdoor space with amazing seafood options. Wish I had captured more pictures. But definitely try their octopus and fish. They are reasonably priced and had some people stop by to play some music. Good selection of cocktails as well. Was a great experience overall and would recommend if you are in the area.
The BEST gobernador taco I’ve ever had!! Mojitos were really too! Great service, nice corner lot, 100% chance we’ll be back.
And we are back to this great place where you can eat fresh and affordable sea food. We discover it two years ago in a different trip and we came back a few times since. We love the place for the aguachiles and their litter margaritas. Overall great value for the money. Service is always fast and great. Everything we asked for (like the extra lemons and salsas) was kindly accommodated. My recommendation is the tostadas with atún (maravillosa de atún)
Fantastic meal at a great price. Pescado Pachow - mother’s fried fish, Covina. Though not the most complex dish they offer it was perfect, served on a bed of the best coleslaw with tasty rice. Everything was done with care and portions were generous. We stood outside studying the menu for maybe 15 minutes without anyone hawking us or even suggesting we eat there, very refreshing. Just wanted some well cooked fish for lunch and relax a bit. A total stumble upon find that I have already told friends stay at our resort about. I wish we discovered this friendly eatery sooner. There were musicians playing MX tunes and worth tipping before they moved on. My wife normally doesn’t order fried food but she was very happy with her meal. Our waitstaff was welcoming and attentive. We need to go back and try some other dishes.
3rd time in Playa del Carmen Mexico and 3rd time eating in Los Aguachiles, awesome food, awesome service, awesome everything, strongly recommended, food is another level, super delicious and the service is fantastic, super happy after many years they continue being an awesome restaurant, thank yoy guys, you are the best!
excellent food. excellent service. the crispy onions on everything are perfect. great fish tacos and tostadas. not the cheapest place in town, but reasonable and worth every peso. again, the service was exceptional.
4 of us ate lunch here and pay half of what we would have paid in any other place. The food was absolutely fantastic. We recommend the Hugo Rice (Arroz al hugo) and the Mix aguachiles. We also had the octopus, which was carbon grilled and tasted delicious; 4 different types of tacos (/try the taco with vapor fish) and 2 different tostadas. We also had margaritas and mohitos. The service was very attentive and very quick. The only thing missing on this establishment was AC as it was a very hot day, but nonetheless, 100% recommended
Incredible seafood at a bargain price. Had a terrific dinner served by Marco. Every dish we had was phenomenal with the Aquachiles as the star. Recommend going hungry and trying out numerous tostadas and all the shrimp tacos. Don’t miss out on this place when in Playa
A fantastic Mexican restaurant! The dishes are exceptional, offering authentic flavors, and the service is top-notch. Highly recommended for a delightful culinary experience. -- > The only minor inconvenience was that the tip was not included in the price.
Delicioso!! 🤤 get the shrimp agua chile with salsa negra! It’s not as spicy as the salsa verde but super flavorful! Great spot for a bite and yummy drink (try the maracuya “passion fruit” mojito)
Los Aguachiles definitely had the best fish and seafood I have tried in PDC the few years I have been traveling here. The snapper tasted fresh. Not sure of my waitress's name, but she recommended an excellent appetizer that included shrimp and tuna. It was so good it could have been my entree. The prices were very reasonable as well

The tacos were all delicious 🤤 we ordered a variety of shrimp ones and a steamed fish. Hard to pick a favourite as they were all delicious. A great seafood in Playa!!! One of my faves! Came here countless times in the month I spent in Playa. Their Tuna tostada is Awesome! Great Drinks! Great garlic and chili crabs! Pass on the Bang Bang shrimp tho.

Fantastic oyster shooters ask for the Cucara hot sauce to add to the shot!! Bring friends stay a while and try a little a everything!

Not much of an ambiance, just a place to eat. Service is nothing worth mentioning. Food is pricey. But the food is tasty. I ordered tiki tiki tuna by mistake thinking it was cooked tuna entre, but it’s actually like a tuna salad almost. I liked it. The fish taco was average but I didn’t mind it. Would I come back? Probably not. Down the street chiltepin has more options with way better prices and bigger portions
We read many good reviews of this place that we decided to try it out. The food was ok. My husband wanted whole fried fish but was not on the menu today. I ordered Camarones Parrillados as was delicious and tasty. I put 3 stars in the atmosphere because a passerby performer stopped by, and honestly, I just wanted to enjoy my meal. I will recommend younto visit and try one of their meny sea food dishes. Staff was efficient and always smiling that in a plus for me.

Is ok not as good as cassa de cevice I was expecting more but is ok the fiah was ok for the money other place is better feels like more of quality fish
Well known fish restaurant (part of a chain). Reasonable prices for reasonable quality fish dishes. The shrimp was good but there are no wow factors here.
Compared to old Los Aguachiles, they fail!!!!! It was my best restaurant for seafood tostadas but quality of ingredients has changed and it affected the flavor a lot, also the tacos and tostdas have a very small portions now, vaso Ojo rojo was half a liter before and now less than cuarter at 65$pesos. I am putting this comment because i want them to read it and work hard to win the 5 stars again.
