Es el mejor pollo que he comido, su sazón es súper rico, todos los complementos son deliciosos. Nunca he pedido nada mas que pollo y complementos como ensalada, puré, plátanos, etc, pero seguro todo lo demás en su carta es igual de rico!

The food was delicious. I was pretty surprised to find this spot and I ordered a few dishes as I was not expecting much however the food was flavorful and a very pleasant surprise in Mexico. I ordered rice and peas, curry chicken, jerk chicken and jerk ribs. Based on how good the food was, I eat to my heart's desire and still couldn't eat everything. I really enjoyed the jerk ribs, that was my favorite dish but and everything was so good. I could taste the coconut milk in the rice plus the meats were juicy and tender. I really enjoyed the food. The photo only shows the curry chicken as I was too busy eating to take pictures until the end.

For a date stop or to fix your chicken craving, these guys, do a quality job. Service was impeccable for what feels like a faster food dining experience, it wasn't that at all. Attentive and considerate staff. The coleslaw, was actually decent. Not too sweet, like it tends to be here in Mexico. I took my meal to go. Super tasty. The outside dining is clean, inviting and open air, right on 10th Ave, great for people watching. Shout out to this crew for nailing customer service and food quality at very reasonable prices!

Great food, Great service. Diego, Alan and Juan took great care of us. I had the Jerk Chicken with Corn and Fries and my Husband had the fried chicken with Rice and Beans and plantains. Both of us requested white meat for our chicken entrees and both were tender and very flavorful. I think three of the sides were upgrades. The rice and beans could have been more moist, but all the sides were good portions. The classic Mojito was also very good.

Authentic enough! I’ve passed this place dozens of times and finally decided to try it and I’m so happy I did. It’s the closest thing to a home cooked Caribbean meal you can find in Playa. There’s a constant flow of people in and out. Those who know, know. The servers are very polite but can be a little slow when it gets very busy. The food here is great and it’s a good value for your dollar. We had the Jerk Chicken for two with coleslaw, rice and beans, and Mac and cheese. Zero complaints. The only constructive criticism I have is that they should have authentic Caribbean pepper sauce instead of the liquidy local stuff. Even if they just offered a habanero sauce that would make a difference but I’m guessing there aren’t many people from the islands around here so for most it doesn’t matter. If you want a change from all the fancy plates, and decor and just want a good home cooked Caribbean meal, check this place out.

A delishious experience in the heart of Playa. We were not in the mood to dine in after a long day in the sun. We ordered takeout and ate this delicious treat in bed! We ordered the 1/2 chicken, corn, garlic buns and seasoned fries. Everything was AMAZING. Full of flavour and seasoned to perfection. A great option if you do not feel like cooking during your stay. Extremely affordable and a great atmosphere if you'd like to dine in. The entire restaurant was buzzing with excitement. Staff were very friendly and the host even asked me what I ordered and chatted with me while I waited. Order was ready in 15 minutes. 10/10 recommend!

Esta pasta es la segunda ves que la como . Por eso mismo me atrevo a dar mi comentario , la primera ves fue muy buena la probé en la otra sucursal así q ahora que vengo al centro esperaba lo mismo o incluso algo mejor . Pero que triste que la pasta no tenia sabor el pollo que me comentaren era pechuga termino siendo una ala y pedazos de otra pieza de pollo así que pagar por algo así no creo que sea Justo .

El pollo está delicioso, pero intentaron cobrarnos dos ensaladas extra, y el baño tenía una gotera que te mojaba la mitad del cuerpo. Son detalles pero importantes.

The food was good but it was just not enough for the amount it cost. It also didn’t really taste like anything special. I got the jerk chicken platter for two and in total with tip it was 469. We got the sides of elote and fries. The fries were just plain French fries. The elote was good but again, it wasn’t anything it wasn’t anything special. They did have an air conditioned area which was nice, and the service was good.

I don't know if it was just a coincidence but we kinda disliked our experience there a lot. It took more than an hour after we ordered before we began to receive our meals. We first received one side dish, after 10 minutes the main dish (which was the jerk chicken... Warning, it's delicious but extra spicy), and maybe five minutes later, the spicy fries. The staff was not particularly friendly and very, but very slow. The prices are kinda expensive, however, the portions of the meals and side dishes are generous. I do not enjoy leaving this review, I had a lot of expectations but we were too disappointed not to mention it. Have to mention, even if the jerk chicken and spicy fries are very spicy, it's very good. The plantain side dish is delicious.

Fui a cenar con mi novia y pedimos algo tan simple como pollo frito para los dos. El pollo llegó completamente crudo, lo reportamos y lo único que hicieron fue cocinar el mismo pollo y traerlo otra vez. Como “disculpa” nos dieron unas papas fritas… increíble. Lo más grave fue que la gerente nos dijo que era la segunda vez que eso pasaba en ese mismo día. ¿Cómo pueden servir pollo crudo, sabiendo el riesgo que eso implica para la salud? Eso ya no es un error, es una irresponsabilidad. Además, nos cobraron la cuenta completa y todavía pidieron propina. Después intenté contactarlos por correo e Instagram y no han respondido absolutamente nada. Ya que no respondieron, estoy considerando realizar un reporte a COFEPRIS por el riesgo sanitario y a PROFECO por cobrar un platillo en mal estado. Este tipo de cosas no deberían pasar en un restaurante. Ojalá mejoren, porque servir pollo crudo no es un descuido… es un peligro.

Hola! Bueno tengo que decir que este es el peor lugar a donde e ido a comer con mi familia, en primera pesimo servicio una “señora” que segun es la gerente nos trato muy mal. Cuando entramos al lugar eran como las 12:55 aprox y ella y su criado nos dijeron que estaba cerrado y que nos largaros y vinieramos hasta la 1 de la tarde nisiquiera nos dieron asientos o tansiquiera nos dijeron si queriamos ver la tele o pedir una bebida para empezar mientras esperabamos nos corrieron y llego una familia de jamaiquinos y su criado los trato muy “Bien!” Obvio les dijimos eso y se fueron no vallan ¡¡¡NUNCA AHI!!!

Es el peor lugar de la historia, me atendieron horrible, estaba en el lugar y eran como las 12:56 y entre, luego me dijieron "LARGATE, ABRIMOS A LAS 1:00" y yo me quedo confundido y digo que son las 12:56, pero me dice "NO, LARGO ABRIMOS A LAS 1:00" y luego llama a su jefa, y dice "NO ME OFENDA POR QUE SOY MUJER" este lugar no es un lugar jamaiquino, es un femenistan estile... Pésimo servicio 😒

La comida era buena, soy cliente desde el Ejido su primera sucursal. Los precios se han vuelto excesivos para la calidad que ofrecen actualmente, el servicio ya es inexistente. No regreso.

I ordered from Ferron last night very excited to try their dishes. I will agree that food itself tastes good, flavor was there. HOWEVER, my issue was the blatant false advertising on the menu. The pictures uploaded to give you an idea of portion size and quantity is entirely MISLEADING! The pictures lead you to believe you're going to get much bigger portions or more items per order but what I received was much smaller and completely different. When I asked about the misadvertizing, I was told the menu is only for illustrative purposes. SO BUYER BEWARE!!! Maybe only eat in person so your grievance can be addressed immediately or you can make changes since you'll be physically there. In my case, after I tried to express my frustration via Whatsapp there was no solution or apology offered. I couldn't speak to the manager and instead I was told to just email him. All I got was an excuse that they're aware their menu is only illustrative so they did nothing wrong. Which I took to mean they'll keep up these false AI images on their menu with incomplete descriptions as they don't care if it continues to cause confusion for their customers. So order from them for home delivery at your own risk! 😡

I’ve lived in Playa on and off for 15 years, and this is easily one of the worst meals I’ve had here. The bread was so chewy it couldn’t even be eaten. I asked for tortillas instead and they were just as bad — stuck together, hard to separate, and clearly microwaved. The jerk chicken was the same story: overspiced for no reason, rubbery, and tasted like it went straight from a microwave to the plate. Nothing felt fresh. Nothing tasted right. It wasn’t just disappointing — it was not edible. If you’re in the area, save your money and eat at Rocas or Roots, both just a few blocks away and literally 100 times better. I never leave reviews, but this one earned it.

I paid 5 EUR for this portion of French fries to go, and I've never felt so scammed in my life. The service was average. The host was chewing gum the whole time. She told me it would take less than 10 minutes, but when I walked in to pick up my order after 12 minutes, she left her phone behind and to go back to get my semi-cold French fries from the kitchen. It was quite the experience! 😬

I cannot believe the chicken I just got delivered to me from my favorite chicken restaurant in Playa Del Carmen. The chicken is old, and stringy, and some pieces are even soggy. I can't believe this restaurant sent me stringy, soggy chicken. It taste like old chicken that was reheated in the microwave and delivered. I'm so disappointed. I'm used to getting the crispiest, freshest chicken from this restaurant,, and today this chicken has made me never want to order from this restaurant again. TERRIBLE, TERRIBLE!! I'm soooooooo disappointed. I hate to give this restaurant a low rating because I loved their fried chicken, until today. It’s so bad, that I’m not going to finish the order, for fear of getting samonella, because the chicken taste old.
