A very small Starbucks in the middle of the Marina Mail in Playa de Carmen. There are very few seats inside. But it is well air-conditioned. The selection of cups to buy is not very large. The staff is helpful

Best Starbucks in the world. I slow-travel full-time, so I’ve been to a lot of Starbucks and I have to say with all sincerity that this one is the BEST. I come here almost daily for months at a time when I’m in Playa and they invariably get my order perfect, which is such a relief. It’s a HUGE comfort in my travels. Plus the staff is so nice! 😭🫂💜 They’re very friendly, efficient (it’s always busy and they work so hard and do such a good job), and competent. Being a business owner and having managed many teams in my life I know how precious good employees are and even though I’ve never met the manager, I know how hard management is, so they must be amazing too if their team and store is so well run. Love, love, love this place.

Looks like a typical Starbucks, fairly decent patio with good shade located on 5th Ave. Interesting they charge extra for everything and more expensive than USA Starbucks. We found everything was overpriced In Playa, become similar to Cancún. If you want a familiar tasting drink and a nice place to relax and chill than this is a good location for you.

Great location and amazing service. They are super friendly. I wanted a Mexican chocolate and they went above and beyond. I will come back again and again to this location. Everything is clean and sanitized.

Starbucks as usual, nice cosy place with AC except during inside clean up of store every 30 minutes, free Wi-Fi, tables outside on 5th ave, electricity plugs to recharge your phone indoor or outdoor, service in Spanish and English. You don't even need to buy a coffee to sit down and enjoy the free Intetnet. Some items on the menu were not available. Nice and comfortable sofas available inside and outside.

Es un excelente lugar para pasar un rato, aunque el clima es demasiado frío y cuando sales del local, te puedes enfermar por que la temperatura del exterior es por arriba de los 30 'C, mientras que del local es de 10 'C. El servicio es muy bueno, por que los chicos te pueden atender con inglés muy fluido, lo cual le da un plus ya que además el lugar lo requiere, por ser una zona turística con un porcentaje mayor de clientes extranjeros.

Es el típico Starbucks de los que hay en Estados Unidos y en otros países en el mundo. Está justo en el centro de la Quinta en Playa Del Carmen. Los encargados son muy amables y ofrecen un trato rápido y siempre están disponibles para atenderte. Lo negativo es que hay las mesas afuera qué siempre están ocupadas por gente que ni son clientes de la tienda que pasan por ahí se sientan y disfrutan de la conexión a Internet y de la asombra gratis. Cada vez que fue tuve que pedir para llevar porque es prácticamente imposible encontrar un lugar para sentarse. Mi recomendación es que los dependientes de la tienda pidan a estos sujetos de irse para no privar los clientes de la posibilidad de tomar un café sentadoa.

Buenas tardes el día que visitamos el espacio, no fue muy grata ya que los chicos al parecer estaban ya molestos. El baño ocupado todo el tiempo y la respuesta de la Srita. no puedo hacer nada; ESTA OCUPADO es decir duramos una hora sin poder utilizarlos. Les faltó tacto, no fue grato. El lugar me parece bueno ,Pero considerando que Starbucks tiene un estándar alto en calidad su inmobiliario me parece que está algo deteriorado y descuidado también le falta algo de limpieza ,cabe mencionar que el servicio de cafetería es bueno .

Por estar en la calle más importante de playa de Carmen deben de tener mejor limpieza y mejor servicio, pero no lo tienen la mesa donde estuvimos nunca se acercaron a limpiarlo, el frappe estaba muy simple no tenía un buen sabor. Espero q mejoren.

I recently ordered a Venti drink from your store, but it was disappointing to find it wasn’t filled to the proper level—it felt more like a Grande. When I brought this up with the manager, they corrected it, but this shouldn’t have been necessary. As a regular customer, I’ve come to expect consistency and attention to detail from Starbucks, and experiences like this make it hard to trust that I’ll get what I ordered next time.

Decepción, sucio y con olor a drenaje. Lástima de ubicacion y buen servicio.

Nunca abren en tiempo, pero e el más lento de los Starbucks y nunca encienden lo que sirve para el pick up.

Entre al baño de esté Starbucks y olvidé mi cangurera en el baño, mientras salía paso una chava al lado mio con el uniforme de Starbucks chaparra como de 1.65cm a 1.70cm, delgadita y de tez blanca, obviamente era empleada de ahí, inmediatamente recordé y regresé y solo encontré mi cangurera con mi billetera vacía sin dinero, traía poco dinero entre $700 hu $800 pesos mexicanos según recuerdo afortunadamente me dejó mis documentos, espero le sirva el dinero más que a mi y que lo aproveche porque yo sé que ella sabía que era mío ya que vio que salí de ahí. Eran como las 2:30pm del 29/07/2025 yo traía un pantalon negro y sudadera blanca con el logotipo HOLLISTER, zapatos Rebook negro con blanco, estos datos los dejos porque supongo que tienen camaras y ojalá lo vea el encargado de ahí para que seleccionen bien a los empleados que contrata.

My family and I went in to purchase a drink for all of us. 8 drinks lady who took our order was very rude. We asked to use the bathroom, she told us it was for employees only. I ordered a small coffee. It was 62 pesos. Alondra asked if i had 2 pesos. I did not. She again asked if i could spare two pesos? I said no. She proceeded to short me 3 pesos in change and then shrugged.... i was visibley upset. Its not the amount but the principle. I asked to speak to a manager. Someone from the back came that clearly had the same authority as the attendants did. After citing things like "what do you want me to do" or "alondra doesnt speak english" when the whole conversation had been in spanish was particularly mindblowing. ***The point of this review is to make sure people count their change and do not accept this type of behaviour in playa del carmen. *** I have lived in playa, on and off, for over 10 years. It would also be nice to have starbucks implement a review of its franchises here for quality control. Also, the management of the specific store supporting employees.

I recently visited this Starbucks location, excited to claim my birthday drink, which I’ve always enjoyed as part of their customer rewards. Unfortunately, the experience was far from what I expected. The barista, Uzi, treated me poorly and gave off a very unpleasant vibe. When I mentioned it was my birthday and politely inquired about my birthday drink, she looked at me as if she had no idea what I was talking about, which was uncomfortable and frustrating. I understand everyone can have an off day, but this experience left me feeling unwelcome and disappointed, especially on a special occasion. I hope the staff can work on providing a friendlier and more customer-oriented attitude in the future.

Convenient location but poor service. How can a basic tea cost over $5 USD? It costs whatever the person working the desk says it costs. Disappointing to see such behaviour at Starbucks even if it is Mexico. Ah Cacao nearby has better service and honest folks.
