These two ladies are truly some of the sweetest people on this earth. When I came to Playa del Carmen, I was on the hunt for *my* café spot, and I’m so grateful I found this place. The food is absolutely amazing—chef approved—and it has become my favorite spot and part of my morning routine. The flavors are unlike anything I’ve ever had in Canada, with a perfect blend of Italian and Mexican influences. Everything feels thoughtfully made and full of love and the prices are more than fair for the quality you’re getting. The staff are incredibly friendly, and the warm welcome made me feel like I was visiting my mom. Over the past few days, I noticed that whether they know you or not, they treat everyone like family. They take the time to get to know who you are, what you do, and they remember you after just one visit which is rare and special. With such incredible food, fair prices, and genuinely amazing people, I’m honestly shocked this place isn’t busier. It’s a hidden gem and an absolute must visit daily.
Super cute little coffee and pastry shop. Coffee was delicious and the pastries were some of the best I have ever had. Prices were very reasonable. Would definitely recommend.

Amazing! By far the best coffee and croissants in town! I live here about 15 years and always drive past it. Today decided to stop and buy some croissants, don’t know if this was a good or bad decision, because now they got me hooked and I might need to get a gym suscription to counter my croissant addiction! Delicious, I recommend 100 %
As I go on holiday I search for local places, but since me and my friends tried Pasta and Polpetta for a brief breakfast, we got back every morning during our staying. All sweets and salty plates are delicious. Moreover they prepare cold teas, freash oranjuice and anything you can desire.
i ve been a proud customer for years and they never disappoint me . Valeria makes the very best cappuccino , all the pastries are fresh , they offer different (hand made) pasta for lunch and every thursday there is the best gnocchi that you will ever eat . Very busy local cafe. Seemed to be family run and very friendly. Enjoyed my capuchino and pastry. Was able to find a table to get a bit of work done. Highly recommend a stop in.
Great little independent artisinal quality coffee shop. The place looks like a cafe you would find in France or Italy. There was a line to order drinks the 2x I was there. Many local customers, not only tourists. My Americano was good. Their paninis and croissants looked great, but I didn't try them. Place reminds me of Cafe Por Favor in Cancun, but is in PDC.
I absolutely loved this place (expat from Europe)!! The owners are the most lovely and welcoming people making the best Italian coffee in town — even at 7am! Thank you for making my day every morning and the Nutella croissants are freshly made with lots of love! Could not recommend this place more!
Highly recommend this place! The croissants and sandwich were great! fresh and crispy! The coffee is one of the best I've tried in this city. The girls serve quickly! Very clean and cozy place! And the final bill for breakfast shocked me! It was very cheap for such a breakfast. it was my most delicious and cheapest breakfast in this city!
I’m staying in playa for a month and about half that time we’ve spent here. Their pasta is so fresh. The playa salad and the pomodoro is our favourite. Lovely staff and great service !
I absolutely loved it there; there's not much to say except that everything and everyone are amazing. The sandwiches are incredibly delicious and flavorful, all homemade, and the owner is exceptionally friendly. It reminds me of a French boulangerie. I love it! Don't just go there, run there!

Lovely atmosphere, great coffee and fresh homemade pasta and sauces! I saw their kitchen when the waitress walked in and out, it is very clean and tidy.
A must go in Playa del Carmen if you love authentic and genuine real Italian cuisine. Amazing croissants, pasta and desserts among other delicious Italian dishes. The staff is super welcoming and friendly I always feel at home when I am here. Don't miss it!
Fernando is one of the nicest guys in Mexico!!! Everything made right on site, and the pastries are to die for!! They also start pasta at noon, and it looks amazing, and fairly priced. I even buy my daily home coffee from them. About same price as grocery stores, and its better coffee!! Pet Friendly too!!
The Bomba pastries were delicious. You have to have them filled with their home made creme which makes it incredibly rich. Order two!

Probably the cheapest and one of the best hand made pastas in playa. They provide free bread with the pasta - we for the 4 cheese and the bolognese and both were really good. Their desserts are probably one of the best in the city to. Not a fancy place though if you wanted that!

The coffee is good, there is vegetable milk. The prices are low. But there's a big but! The woman who works there is very rude. I wanted to order a frappuccino with almond milk. The woman told me very rudely that there was no milk in a frappuccino. This was my first time at this place. What did I do to deserve such a disrespectful attitude? I won't go back there again, despite the fact that it's the closest coffee shop to my house.
