Some of the Best food in playa-del-carmen! Chicken is always juicy yet fried to perfection all of the sides are homemade and seasoned not a shortcut in sight. I have eaten here 6 times in 3 weeks
By far the best fried chicken I have ever had! And the Mac cheese omg, they call it “world class” they backed it up! Best Mac and cheese ever! I’m a tough customer, I’m telling you, go there with your eyes closed. It’s delicious and staff is super nice!
The food was all around really good. We had a whole chicken, lemon pepper honey wings, cabbage and macaroni and cheese. My big gripe is the wings are hilariously tiny for the price, but they did have great flavor. My husband loved how juicy the fried chicken breast was. They are dry at a lot of establishments. We enjoyed everything including the ambiance, owner, and interactions with other patrons while our food was being prepared.
Absolutely the best fried chicken you could find anywhere. Just moth watering deliciousness.
I just had a fantastic lunch here! I ordered the mixed combo (has dark and white meat) and macaroni & cheese. It was perfectly crunchy and juicy with an amazing blend of unique flavors. The proprietor was personable and professional. I will be coming back here during my stay.👍🏾
Chicken & corn were 2 items that I would have again & again. Echo a review on the seasoning for chicken, could use a bit more for my taste, the side of fire-roasted corn was a refreshing side option because what I had in Mexico up that point was disappointing to say the least; fries and coleslaw were alright, would use that money spent on the chicken for the next time…
Best Fried Jerk Chicken I’ve tasted in a long time. We asked for spicy flavour. It costed us 30 Pesos extra but they were absolutely worth the price. “B” is the owner and she’s from California so she understands Americans and their tastebuds.

This was by far the best fried chicken I’ve ever had! So tasty and so soft!! Furthermore the best fries we had in Mexico and the Mac&Cheese was simply delicious!
If you’re looking for the best southern style fried chicken in Playa del Carmen then look no further. This is the spot which hits the spot! The chicken was soft, moist and perfectly crispy. Definitely worth going back to again and again :-D
B’s Frito Pollo is a perfect spot, I’d never tasted Mac & Cheese as nice as what I was served, the iced tea was fantastic, and the chicken was fried perfectly and is filling! Atmosphere is very Tulum, an easing vibe with great music in the background, and the customer service from B’s is perfect, I definitely have to go back again and again to try the whole menu!
I ordered here for delivery and my food came fast and was still hot and crispy. This was the best fried chicken I’ve ever had in my life. Every single bite was flavorful and seasoned to perfection. The Mac and cheese was so cheesy and delicious! You can taste the love that was put into making it. 10/10 best fried chicken in PDC!
Such an absolute treat. The owner is super sweet, the food is extraordinary. Haven’t ever had Mac and cheese this good, and the chicken was well salted, seasoned and literally SO JUICY. I swear I was licking the bones clean it was that good. Usually I’m one of those leaves half the meat on the bone people when eating bone in meat. This was too good to leave a single morsel. I swear I’m not even overselling it. In fact I’m probably underselling it. Phenomenal food. With true love and soul right in it. Thank you so much
Just got back from B's Frito Pollo at Gourmet Park. I was craving fried chicken and this sure delivered! I ordered the 8 piece dark meat. The meat was so juicy and flavorful. The coating was light, crispy and seasoned perfectly. Next time I'll defintely have to get the mac & cheese. Forgot to take a picture of the chicken bc I was too busy eating it!
The BEST Fried chicken in Playa Del Carmen. 10 out of 10 bring a friend! The flavors just bust out from every bite. Macaroni and cheese is my favorite side and highly recommend it along with one of the chicken sliders 🔥🔥 most importantly the southern sweet tea is BOMB. Must stop by to have her chicken when in PLAYA. B is amazing owner and energetic vibes. You can taste the love in this food!
Omg this is the greatest fried chicken around! The entire chicken was freshly made, amazing flavors skin with juicy, moist, meat all around! The mac and cheese is the best I've ever used, ever! We got a sample to share and quickly realized our mistake when there wasn't enough. Listen to B, she knows best! It was a privilege to find and experience B's fried chicken and all the other delicious vendors around.

Hi everyone This is Christina you could find me at TheChristinaReport on YouTube and on Google! Enough of that let’s talk about this fried chicken in Mexico! Yes I said it Soul food in Mexico! This is one smart idea!!! A lot of the time in Mexico all you really find is Mexican food, which is a given after all we are in Mexico! Lol but coming from NewYork their cuisine is not same! I guess you can say in Mexico they are “more” authentic?!?! In NYC we use seasoning galore! So if you looking for something the is “Seasoned” sorry to burst your bubble, you’re not going to find it here. Enough of that! Back to the chicken!! We ordered a whole chicken mix with fries and Mac and cheese. We also order water(can’t go wrong with that) and sweet tea. First off the chicken was good but it wasn’t great, however great for Mexico. Out of all the places we’ve visited to eat this was the top one!! The Mac and cheese was good!!! The fries were regular nothing special about it, and chicken was good. I just expected it to be more seasoned. The chicken and fries was topped with a mix of salt and sugar. Sounds weird but it wasn’t too bad. The Mac and cheese could use a little more salt. The sweet tea lacked sweetness and it could of used more tea bags in the brew. Ask for no ice because by the time she poured the tea with all that ice it really wasn’t any tea! Over all I still give this place 4 stars! Definitely worth checking out especially if you tired of eating the same stuff over and over again. It is about a 10 mins walk from 5th Avenue (where the mall is) so the walk was not too bad. The streets are safe to walk in. I know a lot of the time you hear and read things about Mexico. Trust is it’s probably the resorts putting out that info so you could continue to buy their food and not support Mexico 🇲🇽! 5th ave and surrounding blocks are safe! Police are everywhere!!!
