Consigliatissimo
Family lunch on Boxing Day. I'm not giving the food 5 stars because that would indicate perfection, but I must say we ate very well, including the usual "different" (vegetarian) options, and without any digestive after-effects despite the large portions. The house wines were honest and good quality: we didn't feel the need to ask for more. The service was top-notch: kindness, helpfulness, friendliness, and attentiveness. The atmosphere could use a bit of a makeover, but it was clean and tidy. Overall, it was comfortable. Ultimately, everyone agreed we'd like to return. Perhaps for a boiled egg evening...
Excellent food, excellent hospitality, fair price. I'm from Liguria, and every time we're in the area, it's become our go-to lunch spot. The place is clean and unique, and the owner is always attentive to her guests' every need. What more can I say...just try it and you'll agree. 😁
Piedmontese cuisine, carefully prepared and high-quality dishes. Impeccable service. Even though we're far away, we return every now and then, and it's always worth it!
Excellent food, fast service. Traditional dishes available; there's also the option of a weekday lunch menu for €13, including two courses, water, and a quart of wine. I personally had the veal with tuna sauce and the Barolo risotto, which was also excellent! Generous portions. Everyone was very friendly. I highly recommend it! Excellent value for money.
A lovely family-run restaurant, where we were greeted with a warm smile. The atmosphere is rustic and welcoming. The traditional Piedmontese dishes are carefully prepared: all very good. The pork chop was a little journey back in time, reminiscent of flavors from my childhood. The strudel was a solid journey to Tyrol: well-made and beautifully spiced. A lively house Dolcetto wine paired the meal perfectly.
Oh, finally, a simple place, as God intended. Wow, the meat was amazing, the ingredients were top-notch, the service excellent, with a smile (hard to come by these days), and the traditional, warm, and welcoming location. Ahhh, how wonderful! PS: The bill was perfect, even too low.
A true Osteria, true to its name: simple decor, but Piedmontese dishes cooked with skill and simplicity. The raw meat was well-seasoned, and the tongue with salsa verde was also very good. For starters, I loved the tajarin with porcini mushrooms (large, generous slices). The venison with apples was incredibly tender. The porcini mushrooms were perfectly fried. For those who enjoy slightly more unusual dishes, I recommend the stewed tripe or the Parisian-style snails. The desserts are also excellent. Try them and believe it. The staff is also very friendly. The wine selection is also good.
An old-fashioned osteria with simple furnishings, clean and welcoming; three spacious and warm rooms, well-arranged tables. The focus is on good food! Well-blended ingredients, perfect pairings, and, above all, meticulously crafted Piedmontese dishes. The waiters were kind and professional. I would have dared to try more, but the five appetizers: veal with tuna sauce, tongue with greens, raw meat, Piedmontese vegetable appetizer, and fondue flan; the plin pasta with roast gravy and the venison with pears filled me up with gusto! The classic Piedmontese desserts rounded it all off without weighing me down 😛.

Mi sono fermato oggi 30/10/2025, ore 12.30 ed ho chiesto il menù da lavoro; ben servito ben curato e preparato al momento. Arrivederci alla prossima occasione.
I ate traditional Piedmontese dishes at this osteria, and the experience was overall very pleasant. The menu offers several typical local specialties, prepared with respect for traditional cuisine, with authentic and easily recognizable flavors. The dishes were very good, well-executed, and capable of conveying the simplicity and authenticity one expects from an osteria. The quality of the ingredients is good, and the preparation is meticulous, without excess, leaving room for the classic flavors of Piedmontese cuisine. One senses a desire to keep tradition alive, offering dishes reminiscent of home cooking, well-made and satisfying. The service is average: correct and functional, without any particular strengths but still appropriate for the osteria's setting. Wait times were reasonable, and the staff was helpful when needed. The place is charming, welcoming, and in keeping with the style of a traditional osteria, with a simple and pleasant atmosphere that makes for a relaxing meal. Overall, this is a recommended place for those who want to try well-prepared, traditional Piedmontese dishes in a casual, unpretentious atmosphere. A positive experience, ideal for those seeking traditional cuisine and authenticity.
Unfortunately, I forgot to take photos of other dishes, but I'll tell you about them. It was my first time at this restaurant, so I recommend making a reservation as it was very busy. Service was very fast, and the menu wasn't extensive, but if I'm not mistaken, there were 5-6 appetizers, 2-3 first courses, and 2-3 second courses to choose from. I had a mixed appetizer; the raw meat was excellent, as was the veal with tuna sauce. I didn't have a first course, but for my second course, I had an excellent rabbit served with buttered carrots—those tiny, very tender carrots. Very good. I also had some baked potatoes. They were good. For dessert, I tried the tiramisu, which was good, along with the chocolate salami and the bonet! The latter, however, was nothing special. We had the house wine by the glass, which I probably wouldn't recommend, but we were just back from a tasting at a local winery, and the difference in quality was noticeable. Bottom line: overall, I'd recommend it to those who aren't too demanding but still want to eat well.
A classic osteria, but with great quality and quantity. Traditional Piedmontese appetizers all rolled into one. Fassona tartare, veal with tuna sauce, and giardiniera are fantastic. Risotto with Cervere leeks and a unique and delicious cheese. Fried porcini mushrooms, delicate and fried in good oil. A wide selection of desserts. Stuffed peaches and riramisu' are superb. The wine list is top-notch and of high quality. Impeccable and attentive service. Excellent value for money at €40 each. Highly recommended for families and large groups. Well done.
We were invited to dinner last night. Classic decor, a welcoming and tidy restaurant... Air conditioning, unfortunately, was too loud. We had to ask for it to be turned down once, and then again because the waitress had turned it all the way up... maybe she was hot... but with a one-year-old child around, it wasn't appropriate to have it so loud... We ordered raw meat and mixed antipasti... it's a shame we found a worm... the kind you find in the salad, used, let's say, as a garnish... After the first course, we ordered the second course... The tagliata was excellent... but perhaps the salad, once again poorly used as a garnish, should be washed a little better...
