I can not express how much I loved this restaurant! I was only visiting the area for a couple days and I went back 3 times - I was SO happy! Sandra was our waitress and she was so nice to us, as well as to many other customers. I highly recommend going here- you will not be disappointed
We ate here twice on our trip. Staff was friendly, food was sooo good. We ate lunch one day, the Philly steakhouse burger was heavenly. I highly recommend people to order that. I had the scramble, it was excellent. The next day we had the Bolina(?)pancakes, highly recommend, he had the breakfast sandwich, he didn't share. The bacon there is to die for, and the portions are huge.
Fantastic food and service! Very cute spot with use excellent ingredients and wonderful menu options. A true hidden gem on our drive to pt Reyes lighthouse from Sonoma!! Wishing this spot lots of success
Visited restaurant with my family on our way to see the seals at Point Reyes. Great burger and fries. Great service! Highly recommend.
This place was a very pleasant surprise, food was excellent service was excellent, definitely a place to return back for a visit. The only downside is parking is somewhat limited and the restaurant can get quite busy.
Super cute restaurant with delicious food. We stopped by here after backpacking. Started off with the pumpkin French toast and it was yum! The burgers and the steak chilaquilles oooo weee.
We had a really good breakfast they only had one cook and it took a little bit longer but it was worth the wait great atmosphere very clean bathrooms was very impressed
This is a great restaurant to visit when you're in the Point Reyes area. Excellent service great food quality and the atmosphere is unique. The only drawback is are just not open very often at the end of the day.
Delicious, local, heart fare.
Great service and the food is good. You get what you pay for. A lot of food.
i got the reyes chilaquiles and so far it is the highlight of my trip. absolutely delicious and gigantic. eating it while watching hummingbirds. 10/10 would recommend.
The food is creative, delicious, and beautiful. The service is welcoming and attentive. The ambience is mellow and the prices are reasonable for the value provided.
Food is so so so good. The price is a steal for what you get. The current rating (4.2, 131) does not reflect this place. It's more of a 4.8, 1,255.
This is a wonderful find. Nice open ambiance, delicious food and very good service. I think the Cobb salad is my favorite in 50 years of Cobb salads. And my friend thinks his omelette was the best he’s ever had! Highly recommended!
Best burger in recent memory, from the fresh tomato and lettuce, to the cheese and beef, it was amazing. The lemon aioli really makes this version stand out. We also had the cheese steak, which is not a traditional beef and Whiz, but an elevated caramelized onions and thin steak (actual steak) with cheese on a brioche bun. The side salad was dressed perfectly and the fries were crisp on the outside and creamy inside. I was sad that Marin Sun Farms Restaurant and meat market closed, but very after eating here, I couldn't be more glad this is what moved in. Can't wait to come back and try more of their menu.
Was a bit hesitant to come here because of their rating but it was really good. My bF got a hamburger and it was really delicious. I got the tomato and avocado salad with pumpkin seeds. The dressing was so good and everything was really fresh. The only thing is that it was almost $20 for one sliced tomato and avocado. Other than that it was a lovely dinner.
Have been coming to this place on our trips to the Point Reyes area since 2014, except for the covid years, and have never been disappointed. Excellent burgers and several other good options though we pretty much always stick to the burgers. Even more fun experience on the benches outside in the summer.
After a long afternoon walking through the coastline we eagerly came to Point Reyes Station for a hot dinner. We were disappointed to find most restaurants closing at 7pm and not taking any more tables. We found ourselves at this new Roadhouse and ordered two vegan meals. The ingredients were fresh and delicious and the service super friendly. The food was worth the price!
My husband and I happened upon this adorable little spot while driving the Pacific coast highway from Southern California up to Washington state. We stopped in for breakfast, and we were so happy we did! Thick bacon slices and generous food portions make a breakfast that’ll keep you full as you make your way up the road! I had a breakfast sandwich with egg, avocado, bacon, heirloom tomatoes, and lemon aioli. Delicious!! Oh, and also a mimosa to rinse the palate with! The decor is inviting with wood beams on the ceiling and local photos on the walls. If you happen to cruise the PCH to Reyes Point, do yourself a favor and grab a bite or a beer at this adorable mountainside coastal stop!
The perfect place to eat before, or especially after, a Point Reyes Seashore hiking trip. Great breakfast, great lunch! 💪
Excellent food, superior service. When I say excellent food I mean the highest quality ingredients prepared expertly. The wait staff are very friendly and attentive and they have flexibility with the menu. No problem ordering any thing off the menu a la carte.
Wow. Great breakfast and lunch. I just had my 2nd meal in as many days. Best pancakes I've maybe ever had "bolinas pancakes" and the chiliquiles for 2 is absolute fire. Perfectly grilled new York steak... just wow. Highly recommend.
Breakfast was great. Top notch.
Yes please!!! I had the gluten free Chilaquiles that comes with a ribeye steak and it was phenomenal. So yummy!!!
I had the pumpkin French toast, literally so good. My husband got the scramble, and it was probably the best we have ever had. Everything seemed so fresh and it was all beautifully plated and presented. The atmosphere was very comfortable and so cute and cozy. The hashbrowns were so yummy, definitely different than your traditional breakfast hashbrowns with the fact that they add a little dollop of sourcream and chives, so mouth watering. 10/10 would go again!
The best breakfast scramble I’ve ever had. Excellent portion, great service, and phenomenal flavor. Coming back for sure…. Even the ketchup bottle provides the perfect amount of squeeze to ketchup ratio.
We stopped here for breakfast before heading to the Point Reyes Lighthouse. I got a scramble and my husband got the breakfast sandwich. Both were excellent. We love outdoor seating, but you could also dine inside.
We stopped by on the way to one of the trails. Super friendly staff and the food was amazing.
This place is delicious! My friend and I had lunch there and chose to share the fish n chips. Huge mistake. It was so good we will never share it again. Our other friend got the burger. It was ridiculously good looking as well. Prices are high, but quality is there. I'd love to come back.
Had breakfast here. Wow!!! The best scramble my wife and I have ever had. The sourdough toast and hash browns were amazing as well. Truly. This place is a gem! Wish they served dinner. Would love to return this evening for another amazing meal. Breakfast and lunch only.
The food the restaurant and the staff were amazing! Food was quick and Delicious, Staff was friendly and Prompt. The Restaurant was clean and interesting.Portions were large and Delicious. Definitely coming back. 4 thumbs up( because there was 2 of us).
Great place for breakfast! The roadhouse has the cozy atmosphere of an old style dinner. The staff was super friendly and service was quick. Interesting menu with the old classics as well as some new innovative breakfast ideas. Pricing is very reasonable for the area. We'l be back!
When you first walk in, there is a sign that says the food is not fast food and it takes time to come out-which is fine and the food was awesome! Locally sourced and made with love. I had the shrimp tacos on the LTO menu which were delicious and my husband got the Golden State Burger which was perfectly cooked and he was very happy with it. Definitely recommend this spot!
Best shrimp taco I have ever had!!!! This is a mom and son run restaurant with a terrific view. Everyone in my party enjoyed their food. The service was fast and personal. Again, the view!!!!
Cheese steak sandwich was great, loved the bun! Shrimp tacos had large shrimp! Delicious sauce with coleslaw.
Very nice, quaint spot. Parking was open. Happen to see it on the way back to Santa Rosa from the Point Reyes Lighthouse. It was not busy at all and the service was very quick. Took about 10 minutes for the food. I got the BLT and it was fantastic! Nice portion of thick cut bacon cooked to perfection. My buddy had the chileaquiles. They had a great selection of wine and the mimosas (I got the mango mimosa) are top notch!! The beer tap was down so that was a bit disappointing because they could atleast purchase a case of bottled beer for those who want beer. But none-the-less great for brunch or lunch. 100% recommend if you are in the area.
Delicious !! One of the best breakfasts I have had in a while. The meat/mushrooms omelette was divine!!! Hash browns super yummy as well .. will definitely come back !
Super nice place on the road with good food.the wait was a little long but we were there almost at closing time! Super cute and rustic environment too! Cleanness: very clean Seating: tables indoor and outdoor Menu diversity: not very diverse but many options Food: very tasty burgers Parking: might be a little tricky we just parked a little farther ahead on the side of the road and did a 2 minute walk
Came for early dinner over July 4th weekend. Easy to be seated indoors. Hubster loved his mashed potato/steak/mushroom dish (abundant portion) and I loved the salmon (cooked perfectly moist; smallish portion). Server was very attentive and friendly. Saw a few outdoor tables but it was a little chilly. Given what we read about high quality local sourcing and our delish dishes we would return and recommend!
Stopped by while traveling through Point Reyes on a CA road trip. After trying the other two sit-down restaurants in town (and enjoying them) we tried the Road House. The decor is cute and unexpected and the service was incredible. The menu sounded interesting and we were excited to realize it tasted just as good as it sounded. Pricing was on par with just about every other restaurant we visited!
Very good food, great service,
We went here on our honeymoon, and it was such a lovely experience! We camped on the chilly coast overnight after hiking four miles, and then spent the morning driving and hiking. We were starving, and this was one of the only places open! It was delicious, fresh, and had great service! The price is the same as everywhere else in the vicinity, so idk what all the other bozos on here are complaining about!
Delicious Home Cooking. Friendly and fast service! We had Roadhouse Breakfast and Miwok Vegi Hash with Poached eggs, an explosion of flavor!!! So. Yummy!

Had a Wildcat Breakfast Sandwich and it was deeeeeeelicious!!! Really nice place with a welcoming staff. I look forward to visiting again.
Delicious Home Cooking. Friendly and fast service! We had Roadhouse Breakfast and Miwok Vegi Hash with Poached eggs, an explosion of flavor!!! So. Yummy!
Just opened up, absolutely fantastic service, classy quick friendly - good vibes, good music. The interior is designed very well and the food was delicious - recommend stopping in!

Friendly staff that opened short handed on Thanksgiving. Nice picnic tables with even more comfortable indoor dining as well. Food did take longer than normal but crew was working hard during a holiday without the full workforce so we were completely understanding. Food was great, fresh local experience but coffee could of been better. Id come back next time im in the area.
A great place to go for breakfast which is served all day. The food is good. If you are looking for dinner then try somewhere else.
Food was excellent! I had the coastline burger and it was one of the best burgers I’ve ever had. It just took awhile for our food to come out.
Miwok hash with two eggs cooked to perfection. Best place in point reyes. Oddly empty at 8.30 Sunday give.n all cyclists etc. Healthy options. Come here!
Enjoyed a late breakfast sitting outside under an umbrella on a beautiful sunny morning. A little more pricey than most breakfast places and the delicious servings rather larger. A place to linger and chat rather than get in and out quickly.
I think that the atmosphere and the food and the service is all amazing. Although I do have to say that the food is slightly overpriced, That's my only gripe. Although if you're in the area and camping, this is a really convenient close place. So if paying a little extra to get a nice breakfast close to your campsite is fine with you then it would probably be a five star. Pretty much anything you get on the menu is going to run you $20 so consider spending around $25 a person if you eat here.
Came here for breakfast. Service was great. Pancakes were delicious! But my scrambled eggs were too salty and over cooked. The bacon was overcooked too. The hash browns were different than I'm used too...tasted more like a smooshed baked potato but still yummy. They came with sour cream on top which was different.
The food was good, but the outdoor seating right next to the highway on asphalt lacked any sense of cozy vibe. Most dishes were over $20, so expect to spend around $30/person "all-in". More of you buy drinks.
Great food, prepared perfectly with a twist. Not your same old breakfast. I would give 5 stars if not for the horrible coffee out of a can.
There are not that many places located in Point Reyes to choose from for breakfast so we were happy to find the Roadhouse Cafe. My nephew and I sat down for a delicious meal. We enjoyed the food and staff. It is on the road headed out of town so dont miss it.
Although not the best restaurant at Point Reyes but a good one for a quick breakfast or lunch. They are short staffed, so you need to be a little patient, but service is attentive. Food is simple yet tasty. The position of the restaurant is outside of the main market, therefore parking is not a problem. Overall, a good one to grab a bite.
Food was tasty, but food took very long to come out (~40 min after ordering). Staff was friendly but the restaurant is understaffed. Outdoor seating by the main roadway
Driving by wasn't a wait. The food was delicious it got all over the place as I ate it. I ordered the philly cheese steak. Mushrooms are on the side. I don't like em but my partner did. The server was quick, and food came at a reasonable time. Outdoor seating on a beautiful sunny cool day. Had umbrellas ypu can move depending on the temperature. Dogs allowed. They even have water for them. The fries were peppery just the way I like em.

He stopped here for breakfast, a little unsure. We ordered the hash no cheese, the route one scrambled no cheese and the French toast. Everything was freshly made, not frozen. Very good quality and flavor.

I got the breakfast hash with hen of the woods mushroom, but it had store mushrooms. The coffee was good. Food was okay.
Great service, limited menu, BUT was overpriced (approx $30 for a good hamburger w fries, incl. Tip). The electronic payment option only allowed a minimum 20 percent tip.
We happened to be there on labour Day '22. Heat wave. Interior and exterior design is great. Poor server person working was overwhelmed. There were only sandwich type food on the menu. That is the reason for 3 stars. I would expect some BBQ, or meat with the sides. My sandwich was good. The one kids ordered ( I didn't even expect it to be a sandwich, but meal) was strange, I couldn't eat it, but they did. French toast with omelette and chicken - in a sandwich 🤷♀️.
We’ve stopped here a couple times now. It’s a convenient stop for food with lots of parking. Service and atmosphere is nice.
Highly variable. On Easter Sunday, the food was good and the coffee excellent. On Easter Monday, we returned the coffee and each ate only half of the meal because it was so dissatisfying. Ditto wrt the service.
Expensive burger. 1 and done. Only table there and took an hour for food. Nice waitstaff, no free refills, had to ask for everything. Understaffed and overpriced.
On our way back home from Point Reyes lighthouse we were so excited to try the local food. We got in around 155pm. Waited for almost until 2.20pm for the staff to take our order and the food finally arrives almost around 2.50pm. Such a waste of time, what bothered me is the staff the only person taking orders and didn't even bother to let us know that they are running late and the wait time. The food was okay, definitely not worth the wait. You pay almost 25 bucks for burger/sandwich and 20/- for two shrimp tacos. I wish the special attention the lady staff has shown to her friends had at least showed empathy to the families with kids waiting for food.
Was excited to give this a try. The food was pretty good and service fine. Had a Philly cheesesteak and a blt and it was $60. We were looking forward to having a beer with lunch but opted out when we realized they were $10 and the selection consisted of Pacifico, Modelo and Sierra Nevada. 85$ for a couple sandwiches and 2 regular beers!?! Not worth it.
Ambiance 10 Presentation 10 Service 5. Took a long time to get food even though only one table of two ordered before us. Taste 5. Cobb salad good. Fish sandwich underwhelming. For a $22 sandwich should be spectacular. Just ok. Sad to say. And experience.

Friendly, comfortable place with quick service. Basic breakfast came with over medium eggs that were undercooked, bacon that was overcooked, and “hash browns” that was a mashed potato patty. Was $30 with tip. Not a bad meal but overpriced for what it was and I would not repeat.
Cute restaurant in a great location but maaaaan the service is slow. To be fair there is rather stern signage saying the food is cooked to order so expect that to be slow, but the actual service was also ridiculously slow. There were 2 other tables of 2 when we got there, one of whom had already finished eating and left shortly after, and the other who had already ordered when we got there. Despite that it took a while for someone to come to our table. Then took a while for them to come back to take our order. We actually started considering leaving but then they took our order and we were committed. It took another 15 minutes to get our drinks. Well, to get our waters. The coffee and orange juice took another 5 minutes after that. When the water was dropped off I asked “oh, and coffee?” and our server just smiled and said “it’s coming.” We literally saw her chatting with the other person working there while the full pot of coffee was sitting behind the counter. For 20 minutes. The food came shortly after that so that was nice. And it was decent! The bacon is delicious, the scrambled eggs were like good home cooked ones (not super fluffy and tender like restaurant eggs, but also tasted like decent quality), but the “hash browns” were confounding. They were little round piles of mashed potato that had a tiny bit of browning to them. As if mashed potatoes were scooped onto a griddle and pressed down to brown a little. The flavor was actually great, and we were starving by then so we ate it all, but it was disappointing not to get proper crispy hash browns. At least it was kind of funny. Anyway, no need to go back. There aren’t a ton of breakfast options in the area so, I don’t know. Bring a book or something. Or just go into pt Reyes station and pick up a pastry. Or maybe they’ll get better at service! Fingers crossed.

My wife and I decided to order a breakfast for takeout during our stay at Inverness. The restaurant is quaint and clean and the individual that took our order was pleasant. We requested the Bolinas Pancakes and the Seaside Breakfast. The size of the three pancakes was impressive with a generous number of blueberries. A nice option would have been a blueberry compote, the pancakes were too dry otherwise. Instead of receiving Vanilla Vermont Maple Syrup that's printed on the menu, I was given two tiny packets of Smart and Final's brand (First Street) "Syrup". Corn syrup, water and sugar. If it's on the menu, it should be on my plate as well. Details matter. The seaside breakfast was just okay. The money spent did not match the food received. Will not be returning.
Two stars for polite service and an original atmosphere. Can't say I'll be back again unfortunately. My friends weren't real happy with the over cooked mussels or undersized $41 oysters. The $24 coastal burger was decent but after a while the flavors just seemed to be fighting with each other. The beers were overpriced. I know it's considered craft but $10 a pint is on the high side. I really hope this business can turn into a true roadhouse as it's a really cool spot. Loved the cozy chairs as we waited an extremely long time for the food. Definitely have some good conversation prepared!
For what you pay, it’s quite overpriced. The server tried her best but the place was understaffed. It took around 20 minutes to get my order to the table. Food-wise it was edible, but I didn’t finish. Pre-formed frozen and pale patty. The white cheese and pale iceberg lettuce didn’t help. I ordered a burger with fries and a can of Diet Coke. It came to just over $33…
I know these two folks are trying. But to charge $4.50 for a glass of tap water is silly. Their prices are a bit much for the quality of the food. Hate to say it, but would not recommend.
You can do a lot better at Point Reyes than this place. Sandwiches and burger were overpriced ($23) and tasted just like at a below average diner. Skip! This place was amazing pre-pandemic under the previous owners
Waited almost an hour for 2 burgers. Service was good kitchen was just super super slow. Food was good when it finally came out. Restaurant was not super busy either.
Good food fairly priced in a modern decor. Staff pleasant and competent. BUT they added a service fee to help them pay for the employees salaries!! I am sorry but you need to adress this. Unacceptable. Pay your employees / factor it in the price of the food on the menu. Many restaurants in the area have gone away from this as their employees will get less tips.
For a placed called roadhouse I was expecting maybe some BBQ option, especially with a longhorn as a logo, but they mainly have sandwiches and burgers for lunch. We decided to order just fries and calamari thinking it will take maybe 10 mins to fry them. It took over 40mins to get our food and the calamari was cold. So the seafood was sitting out while they made other foods that came out after us. It’s wasn’t full so I was very confused to why it was taking forever. I think they might fry the seafood and fries together since both tastes like the same old frier oil. So people with allergies beware in case. It was also confusing to see someone from the back (the ones cooking the food) constantly going to the bathroom. Usually I wouldn’t have thought much of it but waiting over 30mins for food, it was odd. If you want to spend over an hour for overpriced and mid food, this is your place. If you have kids i didn’t see a kid’s menu and cell service doesn’t exist while WiFi is password protected.
I had brunch at this place, The food was ok, but the beer was overpriced. Unfortunately, the service was bad, and the waitress was on the phone arguing for personal matters. She was kind of partial to the clients for not saying she is racist (Hispanic informed us that they were accepting cash only, while others she was accepting cards from them, not fair, but her response was, "I accept cash for ones and for others' cards." It's not making sense to me, anyway. I only had cash for the exact amount of the total, I couldn't leave more tips but 2 dollars. She was offended and said to me: "You need it more than me... If you don't have money, don't go out to eat in restaurants" I was like, "ok lady," work on your attitude. I will not come back again.
Terrible service. We ordered scrambled eggs with cheese. After we sent back fried eggs we didn’t order we got the same fried eggs that had been subsequently chopped into smaller pieces. No cheese. No apology for the the 45 minutes to make eggs or for messing up the order.
Stopped by few weeks ago had our lunch in the restaurant. Quality of food did not come close to the high price. Definitely not going to stop there again. Time to pay their credit machine wasn’t connecting through so I was nice and paid in cash with good tip. Two days later checking my account the charge had gone through so I paid twice. Contact them on messenger few days later responded saying we will look in to it. Nothing happened contact them again no response.
Their special burger was overcooked, with burnt bacon & a very slimey bun. Fries were requested crispy, but they were mushy & cold. I was very hungry & VERY disappointed. Never going back for a crappy $25.00 burger.
We have been coming to Pt Reyes for a very long time and decided after trying all the other restaurants to give The Roadhouse a try:( So very disappointing. I ordered the Fish Sandwich $24.00, my friend the Salad special with fried shrimp romaine and some type of noodle. Well the sandwich was tasteless and on top of that so under cooked , yes I should have sent it back but after taking a bite out of it decided not to, you may be saying my fault and yes it certainly was. Fries were also under cooked and a bit flabby. The $24.50 salad was all romaine with a very small handful of noodles and 4 beautifully fried prawns, but as with my dish it was FLAVORLESS. Very basic food and for the price it should have been better. Well unfortunately for me I will never eat there again. We paid $70.00 plus tip for a handful of fries, 4 prawns, 2 beers and a half sandwich. Please understand, I do not mind paying the price but the food should warrant the fee.
Ok so you’re having breakfast/brunch at a West Marin restaurant. The menu looks pretty promising. $22 for two pancakes, two eggs, potatoes, and bacon.. it’s GOT to be good right? For that price? In West Marin? Nah. It’s average at best. And certainly doesn’t even claim to use organic ingredients. -I ordered something advertised to have “wild local mushrooms” in it, but it was clearly baby portobellos. -When I asked for a side of hollandaise sauce to handle the overcooked poached egg, it was served cold and smeared into a butter ramekin. Like it was as thick as butter and cold. I was pretty surprised. -This place seems like whoever owns it accidentally ended up managing a restaurant and doesn’t really want to. Bare minimum here. -Outdoor seating is a bit less grim, but is next to highway and on a significant asphalt slant, so there was no way for me to really sit comfortably. -If this place was just a cheap greasy spoon diner and didn’t price things so high or try to come off as fancy, it would be a far better situation. Something is up with this place- I swear it feels like a fake restaurant run by people who are working from home in the back room. And not in a small town authentically seedy way either.
There was almost no one at the restaurant when I arrived, it took them 20 mins to take my order, an hour for the food to arrive, and when it finally did it was the wrong order. Do not come here.
We ordered a chicken ‘pastor’ sandwich (won’t even begin describing that) and the truffle Caesar salad and it was advertised that there were truffle croutons, Parmesan, and house made lemon Caesar dressing and what we got was the hidden valley bottle dressing, and then the croutons that you get at the gas station. the restaurant doesn’t appear to have have real cooks that make things from scratch and the owner has found a way to really use ChatGPT and prompted it to say “rewrite this salad but ..better “ and it like uplifted it with these fancy words and then when you get the food it doesn’t match. Plus it was severely overpriced. When I told them this is from the bottle the waitress didn’t even try to hide it it was so obvious. So avoid or have them go on Gordon Ramsay’s kitchen nightmares.
