It's one of Ponferrada's iconic bars. It has the largest wine list, and most importantly, Miguel, the owner, knows the entire menu perfectly and can provide excellent advice. The food is homemade and very good, with a daily menu and many tapas and small portions. The pinchos are excellent, especially the "aur" (fish) platter. A very pleasant atmosphere with wines and snacks.

The classic spot that's still going strong. A great bar for a good wine or beer, and they even have Alhambra, the best beer in the world. Great tapas and plenty of peanuts. I loved it. I recommend it, and it's close to the center of Ponferrada.

The waitresses were lovely. Young and helpful. We ordered several things to try: sweetbreads, minced meat, octopus, black pudding spread... Everything was excellent. Don't let the 'village bar' appearance fool you. The food is fantastic (something, I must admit, that's practically standard in this area). A pleasant surprise, really. *As always, the price was very good.

I've been living in Ponferrada for a while, and by chance I return to the same place. The squid is fantastic, and the octopus is quite good. With recommendations from the people at the table, thanks to the locals. The mushrooms, knowing they're not in season, are quite good. The iced coffee is worth the price... The rest is great.

A place for tapas in the center of Ponferrada. Friendly and professional staff. The tapas are tasty, rich, but not out of this world. You go to Gundin to eat, without rushing, without surprises, good or bad. And it's appreciated. The bar walls are covered with paintings of Mortadelo and Filemon. High tables outside on the sidewalk.

Tienen un menú de 12 euros que cambia todos los días. La atención es rápida. Los platos del menú están bien, destaco el caldo berciano, lo demás del menú es lo común de cualquier restaurante, al menos el día en que almorcé allí.

La calidad no tenía nada que ver con otras veces que hemos estado. No sé si habrá cambiado de dueños o no, pero que gran diferencia en la calidad de los productos.

Tras darle varias oportunidades, tanto al local como al servicio, no volveremos más. Muy ruidoso, muy mal acondicionamiento acústico, la “guinda del pastel” ha sido cuando hemos pedido un par de raci…
