A good old-style restaurant with a large selection of typical dishes from Bergamo. Fairly big portions and friendly service. Starters are nothing exceptional, would advice to go directly for first home-made pasta and meat courses as they are great, better if with red wine. Prices are fine for the food and the location, the more so considering you surely won't leave the place hungry.

Trattoria located in the hills of Ponteranica. It offers reserved parking and several tables both inside and outside. It offers a wide variety of appetizers, first courses, and second courses typical of Bergamo cuisine. Most dishes are made with local ingredients and handmade. The casoncelli and tagliolini with porcini mushrooms (both handmade) are truly delicious. Generous portions, especially the first courses. The owner is very kind and helpful. Service is fairly quick. Prices are average. Recommended!

Sufficient! I've been to a lot of trattorias in the area (Maresana, Incanto) and let's just say that, in general, courtesy, empathy, and friendliness aren't their strong points. It's obvious they're just fake smiles, annoyed manners, etc. They need to rejuvenate the dining room a bit to give it some energy (not with a robot). Food: Casoncelli were awful, dry, stuffed with raw meat and smelled bad. You could smell the bones (who knows what or who). Polenta was the best dish. Veal tenderloin was good but not the best. The appetizer was a cured meat, Coppa with Zola cheese, walnuts, and pears, and a mussel. Everything was thrown away haphazardly, the pears were chopped into small pieces. In short, the dish was completely unrelated. The desserts were really good. A casual but charming place with a bathroom (really high-end) as a bonus. For the price you pay at a trattoria, it's definitely not worth it. Let's recap the prices: First courses: 14 euros Appetizers: 12-14 Polenta: 16 euros on average Cost: 4 euros—you read that right, 4 euros. Desserts: 6-7 euros Water: 3 euros I definitely won't be returning because the quality/price ratio is absolutely not worth it.

A good restaurant for a Sunday lunch with friends. Nestled in a beautiful location at the foot of the Maresana. The food, however, didn't wow me much. The pasta was fresh, but the poorly cut pasta was completely undercooked. The lack of disabled access to the restrooms is unacceptable. You have to climb the stairs or go around the restaurant to get in.

We ate well. It's a shame the welcome was a bit rude. Arriving with a small dog, we were immediately (and somewhat annoyedly) offered a table, not in the main dining room, but in another room where there was no one, pressed against the entrance door like plague victims. Only after begging the fact that I hadn't been back for years, and somewhat reluctantly, were we allowed to sit in the dining room. We ate well, except that we paid for three platters instead of two, and despite pointing this out, we were offered an amaro to make up for the mistake. (Perhaps it would have been better to offer a refund, but we're not the type of people who like to argue too much!) It's a shame, because the trattoria atmosphere is truly charming, and the flavors take you back in time. The bill was decidedly expensive: €140 for three people, including house wine.

Disgraceful behavior and total disrespect. I have to give a star, but if I could, I wouldn't even give that. A shocking and unacceptable experience. I was out with my two large dogs and, after hearing good things about their little dogs, I decided to stop for a quick meal. I had €15 in cash and my banking app was temporarily blocked, but that certainly wasn't a problem: I had politely asked if I could get my food and sit on the outside balcony, without disturbing anyone. From the very beginning, the lady at the cashier was rude, responding with condescension and rudeness. When, faced with that attitude, I decided not to stay, she yelled in front of the entire dining room that I only had €15 in my wallet. An incredibly vulgar and malicious gesture, a gratuitous and totally inappropriate humiliation. The worst happened immediately after: I needed to use the bathroom and headed for the entrance. The lady physically blocked me from entering, grabbed me, and pushed me out, constantly telling me that "if I only had €15, I should have stayed home." I repeatedly told her not to touch me, but she continued. At that point, I seriously considered calling the Carabinieri, because this behavior isn't just rudeness: it's physical aggression and an unlawful impediment. To be clear: I have no financial problems, I come from a good family, and I've always worked in positions of responsibility. If I only had €15 in my pocket at that moment, it was simply a coincidence. The point, however, is another: no one has the right to humiliate someone or look in their pockets, much less touch them to make them leave. I remind you that Article 610 of the Penal Code punishes private violence, and that, since it's a public establishment, the establishment has the obligation to provide a functioning bathroom for customers or, in any case, not to impede their use by violent or intimidating means. I'm considering filing a complaint and taking action through the family lawyers, because incidents like this shouldn't go unnoticed. A restaurant may have good food, but if it lacks human respect and physically touches someone to kick them out, it has lost all value. It's not about money: it's about dignity. I strongly advise against this place to anyone who values ​​being treated politely and respectfully. Personally, it's a terrible place, and I'll never set foot in it again. We went on a Saturday night in February. The place was empty, the atmosphere was truly depressing, and there was no music, so we could hear everyone else's business (since, despite the large room, they wanted us all close together), but I could easily overlook that. The worst thing: the inedible food. The egg and polenta arrived RAW, the skewer was burned and looked like it had been in the desert for a week, it was so dry, the bread was stale, worse than the one in the cafeteria, the consistency of the polenta was questionable, the decaf coffee was watery, and well, what can I say? We didn't like anything at all. Charging €4 for a cover charge in this place is truly shameful. We couldn't wait to leave. The chatter offered at the end seemed like it came from the worst discount store. I'm speechless.
