Me encantó este restaurante fui a comer el sábado pasado con mis amigas que estaba de vacaciones y lo recomiendo muchísimo, la comida excelente todo muy rico paella, sangria de cava y los entrantes delicioso todo. El servicio genial nos atendió una camarera llamada Josefina muy amable, simpática, atenta en todo momento y muy servicial. 10/10

Heerlijke vegetarische paella! Dat maakt het feit dat ze weinig vega opties hebben gelijk goed! Service is ook erg goed. Ze hebben een mooie binnenplaats (tuin), leuk met verlichting wat later in de avond.

Leuk authentiek restaurant met super leuke binnen plaats. Voelt niet toeristisch aan. Lekkere rose gehad samen met baby goat. Lokale delicatesse. Ik zou er zeker weer heen gaan!

Another visit to Zarzales, another wonderful evening of flamenco and great food. We keep returning and this place never disappoints, with quality and excellent friendly service. Prices are very reasonable, and the gardens are a wonderful setting in which to spend the evening. Thanks to Yolanda and the whole team for looking after us again.

We ate twice at this restaurant. Yolanda is a wonderful host and explained the menu very well. The salad with goat cheese was very delicious, well dressed and big enough to share as a starter. The slow cooked goat was absolutely delicious and melt in the mouth tender, as was the lamb. We also had the sea bass both with and without the bacon, we both preferred the version without the bacon. Too full to have dessert but they looked really nice in the adjoining tables. The wine list is sensibly priced and the total meal was excellent value.

We had frito and tumbet for starters and then seafood paella, really amazing stuff. The place is tucked just right next to the main boardwalk, but further enough not to be overpriced, restaurant looks nice and modern, yet very friendly. Our waiter was helpful and perfectly organized, the whole experience was truly extremely pleasant

Had a really lovely meal here, we were a group of 6 and all had a different starter which we all enjoyed. For my main I had the baby lamb which was shared between 2 if us, the waiter brings out the lamb and shreds it at the table before serving it. From start to finish we thoroughly enjoyed our evening

Went on flamenco night no room in the garden as it was booked out, staff very friendly, food was too slow coming out between starters and mains. Would recommend, but maybe not on flamenco night…Wine was fabulous & very reasonable.

Sehr nettes und freundliches Personal, sind auch mal zu kurzen Gesprächen aufgelegt. Das Essen zählte geschmacklich zum besten, was ich auf Mallorca bis jetzt erleben durfte. Sangria ist 1 A und wurde uns am Tisch direkt aus einem Krug aufgeschenkt. Es gab auch super vegetarische Gerichte. Die Kellner geben gerne Empfehlungen über typisch mallorqunische Gerichte und Getränke. Die Lage ist ruhig in einer Seitengasse bzw einem Innenhof gelegen. Kann hier wirklich keinen schlechten Kritikpunkt finden, im Gegenteil! Nur weiter zu empfehlen!

Really lovely place to be, to enjoy food and have a wonderful eating experience. We stayed in the apartment above the restaurant and got to enjoy the food for lunch twice and dinner three times, one of them being the Flamenco Night. We were there end of July/beginning of August 2024. The food is really amazing, as a half spanish, being spoiled my my grandmas cooking when I was younger, I d say the food quality and taste is amazing. I am super picky with my Paellas due to my grandmas cooking and knowing how look it takes for such a great meal. At Zarzales they are very close to the best paellas of my grandma! Please bear in mind, it takes time, wait for it and give them the time and you will be spoiled! We also had the Tapas, Tumbet, Salad with Goats Cheese, Roast Suckling Pig, Cabrito, the Pasta... uhhhh and wait for the Dessert!!!! Grandmas Cheesecake, BEST! Now to the service, you feel welcome and being taken care of. Sitting outside of the restaurant or in the little "Patio", so romantic... :D

We booked very last minute for the Flamenco night. We had a great evening. The food was delicious and well presented. The staff in the restaurant were amazing, so polite, warm, friendly and welcoming. We opted for the tapas dishes, however the other meal that were served looked just as delicious! Great food! Lamb shoulder is slow cooked and melts off the bone, served with a subtly flavored mint sauce, veggies, and potatoes. The almond sponge cake was warm from the oven, and topped with almond ice cream, a sliver of fig, and the plate decorated with a tart syrup that paired well with the cake.

Bardzo dobre jedzenie w bardzo ładnym miejscu. Jedne dania smakowały mniej, inne bardziej ale to bardzo smaczna restauracja. Na wyróżnienie zasługuje ryba, okoń morski grillowany z warzywami, musem z kolendry. Byl przygotowany idealnie. Przepyszna ryba. Patatas bravas i Croquetas też pyszne. Kalmary z ziemniakami to słaba pozycja, były bez smaku. Restauracja ma piękny ogródek, klimat wspaniały, blisko morza i portu Pollenca.

Quality Mallorcan food made with love - a nice change to the usual tourist places. We went for dinner and made a booking as we'd seen other reviews saying how busy it can get, and glad we did as it really fills up quickly. The menu is small, but everything sounded delicious so was a tough choice. Being British, we are used to eating lamb but if you're from a place that doesn't usually have that, give it a try! We had a starter, main and dessert and a few glasses of the house red (absolutely delicious) which came to about €40 per person. For mains, we had roast suckling pig, the goat and the lamb shoulder. All were absolutely fantastic - meat falling off the bone with light seasoning served with veggies and potato dauphinoise. The lamb and goat were especially stand out - really tender and juicy meat. Special mention as well to the starter "Frito Mallorquin" which is offal fried with potato - it's absolutely delicious and worth trying, don't let it being offal put you off, there was a lot of liver and kidney in there which was beautiful. Also a mention to the staff who were all very happy, chatty and smiley and seemed to genuinely enjoy being there and you could feel that friendliness in their service. Really recommend going here if you want a totally different experience to the seafront places which can be quite noisy and sell expected dishes like burgers, fish n chips etc.

Wunderschön, petit, bezaubernde Atmosphäre. Essen grandios. Wir hatten den Ziegenkäsesalat, die Pimientos de Padron, Patatas bravas und die Tintenfischringe. Als Dessert den mallorquinischen Orangenpudding und die Crema Catalana. Alles nur ohne etwaige Fussnote absolut weiterzuempfehlen. Die Frische und simple Brillianz der Küche war omnipresent, die Liebe zum Detail evident in der Art und Weise, wie die Speisen arrangiert waren- alles in Allem eine wundervolle Erfahrung. Wir werden wiederkommen.

We visited this restaurant 2 years ago on our first trip to Mallorca and were blown away by the quality of the food and the wonderful service. Today we returned and it was just as incredible. The premises have doubled in size and their success is well deserved! I will be dreaming about the paella when I am back at home in the cold this winter.

Wir waren viermal in Porto Pollenca Paella essen und hier gab's die beste. Wir wünschten uns eine saftige, gut durchgegarte mit Meeresfrüchten. Die Kellnerin Josephine nahm unsere Bestellung sehr engagiert auf, hatten wir doch zuvor in zwei anderen Restaurants harten Reis bekommen und waren besorgt, dass das nochmals passiert. Hier aber nicht, saftig und fein gewürzt, dafür warteten wir gern lange. Eine gute Paella steht nie in 30 Minuten auf dem Tisch. Wir danken herzlich und kommen gern im nächsten Jahr wieder. P.S. ... auch die zweite Kellnerin war sehr hilfreich und brachte uns den gewünschten Teller zum Abdecken der Pfanne. Die Details bestimmen den gelungenen Abend.

Das Brot war sensationell. Es waren die besten Oliven die ich je gegessen habe. Ob Vorspeise, Hauptgericht oder Nachtisch, alles hat super geschmeckt. Die Bedienung war steht's sehr nett und freundlich. Immer ein Lächeln auf den Lippen. Gerne wieder!

5* very friendly, helpful and thoughtful staff. The food was delicious, homemade and well put together - excellent quality. Our favourite! Relaxed location and atmosphere. The restaurant was busy but the staff were well organised and professional. Can recommend the cod, sea bream, chicken breast and lamb chops. Homemade bread was gorgeous. Toilets were clean!!

We noticed a review and decided to try the restaurant. The house red is so good, we had suckling pig and lamb shoulder the first visit and tonight had the calamari , bread and olives to start and shared the seafood paella with the house red. We were advised a 40min wait for paella as freshly cooked and it was worth the wait! A must visit if you are in Puerto Pollenca and the lovely waitress Josephine x

Nice cocktails, great good, lovely staff and an all round great experience from a family restaurant! Would recommend if you are a family looking for a good meal.

This restaurant is situated a bit hidden from the boulevard of Pollença. Nonetheless I had the best and most delicious diner & paella from my trip! The staff was super friendly. The food came really quick but you could taste that it was made fresh! The red housewine is also amazing! Definitely recommend eating here!

Upon returning from a beautiful bike ride through the wine country west of Pollensa Bay, I pulled into a picturesque alley-way off the Port de Pollensa beach-front drive and leaned my bike against a white, stuccoed wall. The busy lunch hour having passed, I easily got a table in the outside dining area that belongs to Zarzales Restaurant ensconced in the opposite facade. Waitstaff were pleasant and welcoming, regardless of my cycling paraphernalia cluttering the table. As I’d picked the restaurant out for its tumbet, a traditional Mallorcan dish made with layers of eggplant, potatoes, and red peppers blanketed in tomato sauce, I ordered that and the vegetable paella. As with other restaurants in town, I was told that the paella is only prepared for two; however, after checking with the chef, the waiter returned to tell me that they would make a single serving for me. I was quite glad that they did, since this turned out to be the tastiest paella I sampled on my trip to Mallorca—a deliciously seasoned bed of rice topped with various colorful vegetables and even some blueberries. And the tumbet was equally tasty.

Found this by accident and what a find. The quarter lamb was the best meal I’ve had in ages. My fellow diners had the goat and the pork which were just as good. Service was friendly and efficient, prices were very fair for the quality of food.

Se potessi darei 6 stelle. Sono venuta qui perché mi hanno consigliato per il maialino che volevo provare. Era semplicemente DELIZIOSO e ve lo dice una che abita vicino al famoso "leitão de Mealhada". Questo lo supera senza pari. Pelle croccante, il resto si scioglie in bocca. Servizio impeccabile: ambiente rilassato e easy, ma super attenti basta un cenno o uno sguardo e sono subito da te. Ti spiegano tutto bene e ti consigliano capendo subito cosa vuoi ( anche a loro "svantaggio": ho chiesto se le porzioni erano grandi perché ero indecisa se ordinare anche una "entrada" e dopo chiesto quale era il piatto, mi hanno detto che probabilmente bastava quello. Altrove ti pressano per ordinare di più solo per incassare, alla faccia dello spreco alimentare) . Parlano un sacco di lingue. Hanno avuto la pazienza di parlare con me in spagnolo che sto imparando, al contrario di altri che subito ti parlano in inglese scocciati perché gli fai perdere tempo. Il maialino si scioglie in bocca ed ha la pelle croccantissima. Ho chiesto di modificare il piatto e non è stato un problema: non volevo le patate perché ne ho già mangiate un sacco e senza tante solfe, al contrario di altri, mi hanno messo più verdure buone e freschissime. Ho visto i piatti dei vicini ed avevano aspetto ottimo. Anche i dolci sembravano buonissimi, ero troppo piena per provarli. Ero da sola, ma volevo vino e mi hanno subito rassicurata che se non finivo la bottiglia me la potevo portare via. Prezzi più che giusti. Paghi quasi uguale qui per mangiare in psuedo-fast food scontrosi. Il giardino è molto bello e gradevole. Una gemma del posto. Unico rimpianto, averlo scoperto solo l'ultimo giorno. ------- La sera meglio prenotare per tempo

Flamenco evening was great fun. The menu is a bit pricey and I'd like more than a glass of wine with it, but the food was excellent, the staff were friendly and the location/show is really brilliant. The staff were great with our girls and encouraged them to dance at the end of the show - it was the highlight of the girls trip for them. This is a really nice experience and lots of fun. It's a lovely courtyard with flowers and greenery and we will definitely be visiting again. Thank you!

Tito was a very kind waiter, who gave us laughs and excellent service. Arrived at 8pm without booking and given beautiful courtyard table. Service was lovely, all staff were welcoming and humorous. Food was best we’ve had in Puerto Pollenca. Excellent paella, suckling pig, and cod. Puddings were excellent, as were drinks. Very good value.

The food was delicious. Service was good! Only thing was that the two meat dishes had exactly same garnish... And to be honest seemed exactly the same to us just a different part of the animal... Nevertheless we loved it and will come back when in the area :)

Das ZARALES haben wir durch Zufall entdeckt. Es ist ein Geheimtipp in Sachen Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis auch für mallorquinische Gerichte. Qualitativ hochwertige Speisen perfekt zubereitet- dazu in einen sehr netten Atmosphäre mit tollem Service / Personal. Alles in allem sehr zu empfehlen.

Order the lamb. Way better than its ratings suggests. Don't let my poor photography put you off. This is a league above all the restaurants we've been to with a higher rating. Dish of the holiday so far - the lamb. Crispy skin, soft on the inside it fell away at a forks touch, just bursting with flavour. Veg perfectly cooked and balanced superbly with the creamy potato rosti type thing. Cod was delightfully flakey. Home made bread and alioli is the best you'll get in Pollensa. Potatas bravos were crispy on the outside, fluffy in the middle with a flavoursome tangy tomato sauce. Shout out to the 2 waiting staff doing wonders at a full restaurant. Very good value for money for the quality. Can't say fairer than €15 a litre of wine.

The food was excellent! The roasted lamb in particular! Desserts as well, I will definitely go again! The staff was friendly and the atmosphere as well!

A MUST VISIT in Pollença! We were only visiting for 4 nights... discovered Los Zarzales on our 2nd night for dinner, and went back the 3rd and 4th! Josephine and Yolanda were wonderful; nothing too much trouble and made us feel like we were coming home each night. Food was extraordinary- I'm a veggie and my husband is fussy when it comes to meat. Hands down best goats cheese salad I've ever tasted my husband said the same about the Lamb Shank and Suckling Pork he ate. Would give 6 stars if we could. Thank you for such wonderful service, food and memories- we are already planning our next trip!

Came about by chance having spotted up a side street as we walked along the boulevard looking for someone serving something a little different . Wasn’t sure at first as menu limited and I’m someone who doesn’t eat fish and a little fussy on other things but my husband liked different so I thought there was a couple of things I could choose . We asked for inside as mozzies have been a bit of a pest on the trip, we were the only ones inside but we were made welcome and table immediately set for us . Hubbie had the broad beans start which came in a mini cast iron pot and it was more like a little stew which was delicious and I had a rich extremely tasty tomato soup . Then the main attraction … drum roll please…. Suckling pork and leg of lamb - simply beautifully cooked with subtle flavours that just melted - start of lots of oo’s and ah’s presented well with a veg and a little parcel of Spanish omelette. Unfortunately no room for dessert ( should of passed on the bread ) Service was swift and friendly and they are clearly proud of what they do and loved the local farm to table ethos - you can tell the difference . Good served with love , care and passion

Muy, muy buena experiencia. Nos llamó la atención por la terraza pero la carta superó las expectativas, todo muy bueno. El único detalle es que el servicio se retrasó bastante en servir, pero totalmente comprensible ya que se trataba de fin de semana.

Nice food from a limited, but very competent menu. There was an issue with our Sangria and it was changed quickly and without any fuss. Mrs B had a suckling pig, portion was quite small but she said it was very tasty. I had the sea bass fillet with bacon and coriander, which was exceptional.... both dishes came with a potato gratin which was rather tepid and a little disappointing. We sat inside and There was no atmosphere at all, I suppose that it's a good sign all the outside seating was fully booked.

Really friendly service, food is great but it does feel a little like for the sake of presentation there is a compromise on portion size of the sides. The meat portions are great and beautifully cooked but there just isn’t enough veg, an easy fix surely 😉

Servicio amable, la calidad de los platos muy buena y la relación calidad precio también. Comimos dos tapas muy buenas i de segundo pescado y cordero también buenísimo.

Me ha gustado mucho la cocina, la atención personal, muy bien. Cuando pueda volveré.

Tienen platos mallorquines con buena relación calidad precio, todo lo que comimos estaba muy rico y bien presentado. El único pero fue que fueron bastante lentos debido a que ese día les faltaba personal pero fueron muy agradables y se estaba bastante agusto en la terraza.

La paella vegetariana estaba muy buena y el servicio es muy bueno Quito medio punto porque los pimientos de padrón estaban muy mal hechos (y de eso sé un rato) y punto y medio porque me parece un engaño que te cobren precio por cubierto no informado inicialmente. Y esos engaños no sientan nada bien al cliente. Me parece una forma inaceptable de subir el precio medio del ticket sin que los precios de los platos sean más elevados

Paela maybe is longly made but it is not so tastefully, other places in port pollenca have it better. I wouldn’t recommend. Portions not so big. Also 18euro for sangria which taste like sangria for 4€ from shop is too much.

Fuimos a comer en pleno mes de Agosto y estaba muy tranquilo, algo que puede dar que pensar pero comimos bien, precios medios nada excesivos para la zona. Me atendieron muy bien siendo celíaca y tenían pan sin gluten algo que se agradece porque hay pocos restaurantes que lo tengan.

We went there for paella and it was disaster... Way too salty, all you could taste was salt. No spices, the worst paella we ate at Mallorca and we ate quite a lot. The portion was very small, there was just a bit rice in the pot, the only plus was the the looks of it

No aconsejo por nada comer en este sitio, Precios altisimos, porciones ridículas, servicio lento no recomendable y muy mala atención.

El local tenía potencial de ser agradable, si bien es cierto que la mitad del patio estaba dispuesto a modo trastero. La calidad de la comida era terrible, pedimos unas bravas, que eran de bolsa congeladas que además sirvieron crudas, 50 minutos después nos sirvieron los segundos, todos con la misma guarnición seca (independientemente de que fueran 6 platos distintos) el solomillo estaba totalmente seco, las croquetas a la altura de un bar de carretera, sin querer ofender… El servicio era encantador, pero no compenso la espera de 50 minutos con la pésima calidad, de verdad veo imposible que alguien de 5 estrellas. Estamos muy decepcionados porque estamos de viaje familiar y elegimos cuidadosamente los sitios para cenar y la nota de este restaurante claramente se consigue con votaciones falsas.

Porciones ridículas. Patatas bravas de las peores que he comido. Tumbet verduras crudas. Frito de marisco 2 gambas congeladas. Todo parecía congelado. Al llegar preguntamos que nos recomendaban y sugirieron carne o pescado pero optamos por tapas. Al preguntarnos que nos había parecido la cena y explicamos que teníamos expectativas bastante mas altas nls dijeron que por eso nos sugerían carne o pescado. Significa eso que las tapas mejor no probar? Para no volver ni recomendar.
