Definitely my favorite bar in port, the food is always good, good cocktails and very accommodating to kids

I live in Brooklyn NYC. Refreshing to see an American Irish bar that has kept more of an Irish vibe than most Irish bars turned into American sports bars in the city. Burger de luxe incl beer (Guinness) is a great deal. Nice burger, fries and great pour of draught Guinness.

The beautiful bartender was very polite and very energetic. Made us feel very welcome and kept talking to u and just being a very sweet and kind girl. :)

Well, my friends were right. They told me Sullivan's has one of the best burgers around and they were right. Everything about my meal was perfect, cooked medium rare to my liking, crunchy french fries and the perfect assortment of lettuce, tomato and onion. Oh and pickles on the side. I'll be back for sure 👍

We don’t always go to this restaurant, but when we do. We enjoy the food and the service of the workers that do their best to serve us.

Their chef is from the CIA, Culinary Institute of America. They serve you top flight comfort food with an unique flair. Their are a great numbers of interesting beers on tap, which makes this a pub to be enjoyed. Their bread basket has wonderful mini-muffins. I always have a great experience with their servers.

Quaint and cozy feel to this little pub. The place just makes you feel at ease, all the way down to the bookshelf in the back. Bartenders are friendly and attentive. The chicken sandwich is one of the best I have ever had! The pickles and garlic aoli push it over the top.

Very good food, wonderful atmosphere, but slow and some of their food isn't thought out very well. Their fried pickles, for example, are fried as pickle spears and fall apart all over you. Still- very inventive dishes. Loved their buffalo Mac and cheese. Their curry chicken leaves a lot to be desired.

We were in town for a very unfortunate visit with a sick relative in the hospital down the road and needed to get out for a bit and a bite. This place really recharged us. Everyone was so nice, quick, polite, and helpful and the food was genuine comfort food. We can't wait to go back under better circumstances and have another one of those incredibly amazing burgers.

Very comfortable pub atmosphere. Lunch menu was perfect from the kobe burger to the English fish fry and desert and oh the Guinness and mixed drinks. Perfect. As was our waitress.

We came by with a couple of friends for Sunday brunch today and had a great time. Good selection of beers at the bar, and everyone was very friendly. Our food came out quick. I had the Irish Breakfast which was very tasty. Brunch prices were a bit high for a pub, but the whole establishment was a notch above a typical "pub". Definitely somewhere I'd like to come back and try for dinner.

My first time here. We had the pleasure of having Faye as our server. Wow, wow, wow. Every server should take lessons from her. Sooooo friendly, funny and engaging. The food was delicious. We had the burrata fig appetizer, French Dip sandwich, Shepard’s pie and Kobe Waygu burger and we all loved our dishes. Lovely décor, great service, delicious food. You can’t ask for much more!!

First time and thoroughly impressed. My entire dining experience was on point from perfectly shaken cocktails, impeccable entrees and super attentive service from Sean so needless to say, I will no doubt be back soon. Sullivan’s atmosphere is vibrant with a mature atmosphere. They have a bar section but also a main dining area for family or larger gathering. Outdoor tables are available when weather permits. Located in quiet Port Washington, this Irish-American spot is definitely worth the visit. Shame on me for living so close and having never experienced before.

The service at Sullivan’s was wonderful, our waiter was attentive and checked up on us ( a nice change from most places lately where the service is below average). The fish and chips were delicious, the fish was crispy&light and perfectly fried, the fries were great too. The skillet chicken was cooked to perfection. Highly recommend getting their desserts, especially the apple crisp and sticky toffee cake!

Ate here last night for the first time in many years. Pleasantly surprised! The food is outstanding, service at its best and atmosphere was great. For Port Washington the crowd was fun and pleasant. I had the french dip sandwich which was very tender and tasty. The appetizers were very good and beer selection vast and excellent Definitely will be back. Thank you, Sullivan's.

Sullivan’s Quay is an old staple of the Port Washington area but it does not feel outdated whatsoever! All of the servers are attentive, the drinks are well made, and you can’t really go wrong with the food either! I have been coming here for years and have never been disappointed! Their burgers are delicious, their bar menu is fantastic, and even their Caesar salad is fresh and amazing! Can’t go wrong coming here!!

This is a great place for adults. Our young server was engaging and super confident, which I really prefer-- even if it borders on arrogance-- I feel most comfortable when I know I'm more likely to have my feelings hurt than hurt someone else's. I'm also a very weak person who cannot even make the decision of what to eat-- and our server's happy attitude gave me the notion to further engage and ask for a recommendation-- which I took. And though usually I hate to do so, I even pushed for a subsitution-- for the fries-- I asked what else I could get and he put me down for the mash-- even though i really wanted a salad or vegetable. But even though that might have been available to me, I knew to just accept the mash (I really don't like potato anything). This is because I'm born and raised in NY-- and even though this restaurant is not in NYC (most places in NYC aren't really for people from NYC) it was a great NY moment-- because our fast-paced, adversarial environment can actually foster civility, engagement and grace better than anywhere else-- it's even ok to be a pain in the a$$ as long as you're quick enough and acknowledge the value of someone's limited time and attention and just move forward-- and just take the mash-- which was good-- really elevated by the jus of the French Dip sandwich that is made with short rib-- excellent recommendation, excellent service. To further clarify this as praise for our server I'll say that he astutely read the room as this was a guy's night out for some casual beers and grub-- if you're thinking about bringing grandma I'm sure he'd be appropriately sweet--

Surprisingly good for what looks like a pub! My friend and I both had steak that was perfect, I've never had better. Service was great also, and even though it's more like a pub, the interior is tastefully decorated. We were there on a Saturday night with a band playing, making it hard to have a conversation during dinner, but we wound up staying long after dinner to hear them play because they were really good. And it was very reasonably-priced.

Went here for a birthday dinner on a Thursday night and was surprised at how busy it was, being that this was my first time here. My steak entree was amazing - juicy, tender, and very tasty. The shoestring fries, mashed potatoes, and rainbow cake were also delicious. Elegant but unpretentious atmosphere, with a very polite waitress. Will absolutely dine here again and recommend to family and friends.

I've been to this place a handful of times, but I was most impressed by my latest visit. Our waitress, I believe her name was Kat, was exceptional. She really went out of her way to make sure that everything was perfect. Everything was very good, but she made it better. I was really thrilled with the entire experience, and I can't wait to come back again. Hopefully Kat will still be there, shes THAT good...

Love the food here but why call something a Shepherd's Pie when it is in fact a Cottage pie? They are honest in the description and it is delicious, but definitely not a Shepherd's pie...

Nice space. Ran out of apps.....cesare salad was traditional with anchovies flavor, steak salad....they should cut the steak, but it was hanger steak seasoned and cooked well. Will try again

I went to this place on Easter and it was a good selection. Hours were still plentiful with no restrictions of service or food despite the holiday.

Went on a Saturday around 12pm and sat at the bar. They have 5 or so TV screens playing sports (a plus for me and my fiancee). Shane greeted us and was super attentive even though the place for very busy with a large party within 20 minutes of us arriving. Burgers: huge Fries: shoestring *Served with a kosher dill half pickle It was my first time there and I would recommend if I was ever in the area again

Great dinner last night, good appetizers. lobster linguine and short ribs for dinner. Good drinks, crowded on a Saturday night. Parking tight, no valet service, so that's the 4 star rating. All in all very nice will return...

Some friends took me out for a birthday celebration, great spot! Food and Service were both excellent. My only complaint was the live band was so loud it hampered the conversation. Once they started playing we had to shout at each other.

The 4 of us split 2 main courses and 4 small plates/apps/starters, all delicious. Well, most of us liked the grilled watermelon with goat cheese. We all agreed on the ribs, short ribs and Irish nachos. Or waitress was friendly and helpful. 1/2025: 6 of us came for an early lunch/ late breakfast - it was Saturday, so it wasn't brunch. We had burgers, fish and chips, a reubin, dumplings, hot wings, and French onion soup. All was very good. Rick(?) was our waiter. He was friendly and helpful. Because we were the only take on the room we weren't often able to see or flag him down. There were a couple of items that came to the table late because the kitchen delayed things. Over all we were happy and will go back to Sullivan's

Food was good. I ordered something from the special of the day menu and wasn't thrilled with the dish, but honestly there was nothing wrong with it. Just not my taste. Should have ordered something else but I wanted to try something new ( it was mushroom ravioli). My friend ordered a short rib pot roast and loved it. Portions were large, food was fresh and tasty, unique items on the menu ( as well as many familiar choices). Nice staff all around from the hostess and bar staff to the wait staff and table bussers. Our food server ( waitress ) was sweet, helpful and fast. All around good experience. Will go back again and would recommend.

Sullivan's is overpriced and dull. Food is good. Service sucks. The best part are the trays when sitting at the bar. Although the wings are delicious, oharas right down the road is the place to go.

Ordered Irish nachos off doordash. Food was awful. Really wet, tasteless, just plain not good. Also really small portion for 10$

Servers were friendly and the crab cakes and Irish nachos were good but the clams were so salty. they didn’t have the ingredients for a very basic gin fizz and when I said a gin sour would be ok it tasted horrible. It just tastes like sour mix. I took one sip and kindly asked for a Guinness instead. She took the full drink back and replaced with a pint of Guinness. While drinking my Guinness another server brought another glass because of a mix up on their end. At the end I was charged for the terrible sour mix I barely touched and the other Guinness they mistakenly brought out. Not the best experience. I’ve had better nights at Sullivans in the past. Tonight was disappointing.

Easy going pub that doesn't allow service dogs? Even when shown paper work they don't legally need to be shown? Horrible shame.

Terrible experience. Dinner was awful. Bad flavors, fatty steak, vegetables too al dente and food piled onto of one another. Terrible appearance it should be meat and sides next to one another. It was a pile of slop. Never again

I had a horrible dining experience tonight! The bartender, Donna continuously played with her hair while serving food and always looked frazzled by the patrons!! I also watched her put a lot of bills from the register into her pants pocket?? The sliders tasted like fish and the French fries, too! It took 20 -25 minutes to get 2 sliders (most pubs serve 3)! The tray had left over food from previous diners. The bartenders never asked if everything was okay! My last visit I was told that I could not take home my left overs because they were purchased from the Bar Menu( which was discounted) so they had to be thrown out! I will not dine here again and I will tell friends about my negative experiences at Sullivan's!! Try to fix what you are doing wrong!!

One Star - Awful Service and Rude Staff My friends and I visited this bar around midnight last night, and it was a terrible experience. Despite our group of seven being there for drinks, the service was shockingly inattentive. The bartender seemed more interested in chatting with someone else than taking care of her customers. What really made the night go south was the bartender's attitude when we paid our bill. She actually complained that the tip wasn't high enough and demanded more money! To add insult to injury, she told us to leave because she wanted to go to sleep. My friend ended up giving her more money just so she would stop yelling at us and complaining that she stayed open two hours after just for us which was not the case. Honestly, I've never encountered such rude and unprofessional behavior. I would definitely not recommend this bar to anyone looking for a good night out. Save your money and go somewhere where the staff actually appreciates your business.

The staff of this restaurant is terrible. I showed them the order and they asked me to wait for a while. I waited for a long time but they didn't give me the food. When I found them again to ask, they gave me the food that had been placed aside. They are extremely irresponsible. The food was ready a long time ago, but they didn't give it to me, making me wait for more than ten minutes in vain.

Place is spotless and a nice appearance. That's where the nice/good ends. The waitress had a puss on her face and no smile. It's a turn off. I wouldn't care if food was good but the food was HORRIFIC. REALLY REALLY BAD. Crab cake was doused with turmeric or coumadin. Appetizer came right away with entree. Asked for more greens and got them anyway. It wasn't busy so no excuse. The entrees were bad, steak had a lot of fat and the chicken was horrible. Nothing felt cooked right and all rushed. Flavors were bad. The presentation of food was terrible. A big mound of mash veg and steak on top of one another like a stack of pancakes. I knew right away it would be awful. I'm in restaurant business 30 yrs and never complain but this was terrible. Won't do it again.
