We had such a wonderful experience at this Texas Roadhouse. The manager, Cynthia truly made our night. From the moment we arrived she made us feel welcomed. She continued to check on us and make sure the food came out perfect and that we were being well taken care of. It’s rare to come across such a dedicated and attentive manager. We will definitely be coming back!

I had an amazing experience at Texas Roadhouse, and I have to give all the credit to Desiree! From the moment we sat down, she was incredibly attentive, friendly, and fast. She made sure we had everything we needed, constantly checked in without being overbearing, and—most importantly—always asked if we wanted more bread (which, let’s be honest, is the best part!). Desiree’s energy and professionalism made our meal so much more enjoyable. She handled everything effortlessly, and it was clear she truly cares about providing great service. Honestly, if I could, I would request her every single time I visit! Management, take note—Desiree deserves a raise! Or at the very least, she should be given a big section because she is more than capable of handling it. Employees like her make a restaurant stand out, and I’ll definitely be back, hoping to be seated in her section again!

Absaloutley good! Just a tip, if you want a milk, get the kids milk cause its unlimited! Make sure to try the snake bites and the chicken tenders!

The food is amazing. Our waiter (Anthony) was super great and helpful. Management is great too. They offered us a taste of all the side dishes and even a free appetizer for next time we go. Believe me there will be lots of other times we'll definitely be back many times.

I got the 14 Oz ribeye, with a Cesar salad and stuffed potatoe. I love the roadhouse for a great meal at a reasonable price with friendly service. If you eat the skin on the potatoe, ask for them NOT to salt the skin. A great meal as always perfectly cooked!

We went to this place after traveling from Boston. We were on our way to a 13U all girls baseball tournament at the Hudson Valley Sportdome. We started off with their hot & delicious bread with cinnamon. Then I had the shrimp for starters and for the main course I had the salmon. All the food that came was delicious. I took my leftovers with me and are them the next day for breakfast. I almost didnt finish my drink. It was so so delicious and tasty, I made my friends wait for me so I could finish it. If we are ever in the area, we will be sure to hit up this place once again. One of the best meals I had in quite some time.

You can't beat the experience at Texas Roadhouse! The staff here are truly exceptional. As a regular, it's incredible how they always remember me, even if I haven't been in for a while. It's like a warm welcome home every time, making me feel so valued and part of the family. Good people here. On top of that, the food is consistently fantastic—always delicious, spot on, and served up fast. It's truly an awesome place! I love coming into this one even if there are others closer to where I live or I've tried elsewhere. This TR in Poughkeepsie is definitely my #1 here.

Returned for dinner. Got the ribeye, bone in. Great that they let you pick your cut of meat. Service was great and the manager brought the entrees. Appetizers we're excellent, cactus bloom (onion) and chili. My girlfriend got a t-bone. Both steaks we're cooked perfectly. Shrimp was off the hook good. We're foodies, and try to avoid chain restaurants. However, I have never had a bad meal here and the prices are very reasonable. Highly recommended.

Can’t go wrong with this place. Kind staff, very fast service, and great food. We ordered the ribeye and rib combo. The steak was cooked perfectly and had a nice charred flavor. The ribs literally fell of the bone. It did not disappoint.

I went around 7:45 on tuesday and had a 20 min wait. Well worth it. Dinner was delicious and the bread was hot 💯. The medium well steak may have been more on the well done side but my 13y/o cousin still ate it all up.

Went Sunday(9/1/24) and had such a terrific experience that we (me and my wife) went back yesterday. We want to thank the amazing staff at the bar: Mike, Hannah, Colleen, owner J.T and service manager Jack. Bar staff worked wonderfully with each other, and we're very attentive and engaged interactions with each customer in their area. Also, not to often do you get to meet an owner of a restaurant who made sure we and other customers were good, but to see him also working hard with his staff was impressive. Jack also came by to make sure we were good and very interactive with all guests. They all had great energy and were very friendly. That's why we went back yesterday, but didn'tsee J.T and Colleen. It was our 1st and 2nd time there, and we will be back. We want to thank them all for the best services we've experienced at a Texas Roadhouse.

The Texas Roadhouse is undoubtedly a top quality American steakhouse restaurant and is prominently known for offering delicious Texas & Southwest cuisine style dishes!!! In October of 2021, I brought and treated my wife and myself for dinner at the Texas Roadhouse, specifically the branch located in Poughkeepsie, New York. My wife and I both loved every moment of our experience at the Texas Roadhouse!!! We were warmly welcomed by the restaurant’s staff and our waiter, Mike was highly cordial, punctual and very attentive to our requests. Mike definitely deserves immense credit in helping to insure that we had an enjoyable dining experience. Both my wife and I loved the rolls/cinnamon butter, and found our salads to be tasty and scrumptious!!! For our entrees, I had ordered a rib based meal along with gravy mashed potato and my wife ordered a well done steak along with creamy mashed potato. Everything about our entrees was perfect. It was superbly cooked, mouthwatering, well-seasoned, timely served, and absolutely amazing!!! If there are more adjectives that I could think of for our entrees, I would definitely add to this list. Simply put, our dinner was wonderful!!! When traveling in Poughkeepsie, New York, both my wife and I highly recommend that you take the time to visit and eat at the Texas Roadhouse!!! It was a great experience and their YEAST ROLLS are a good sin! My daughter suggested this place as she had patronized a different location and we are glad she recommended this. When you can pick out the steak that they can cook for you was a great surprise and everything went well from the appetizers to the main courses. Steak is always done perfectly and the beers are ice cold and the drinks are good but get the kicker. It is worth the $3 extra. We also love the rattlesnake bites!

Our waitress was wonderful! I believe her name is Hannah or Anna. It was our daughter’s 5th birthday and she made it very special. It was very busy, but they were quick and kept everyone informed. Definitely recommend to everyone!

My family came in while I was working one night! All I heard was great things. Their server was really nice (Emma Jules), their food was amazing, cooked to perfection! My dad got the prime rib with the chili cup, and he said it was the best he's ever had. At their busiest TRH still delivers. The waitlist is very helpful and the hostess keeps an organized system. I always enjoy the dinner rolls & food! On our latest visit we were seated next to a difficult and loud customer out to ruin dinner for us all. Ms. Cynthia P is a role model of what customer service should look and feel like. Being faced with an irate and rude customer she managed to de escalate the situation & end in a hug. In all of that she still checked in prior to and after the incident and apologized to the surrounding tables. We enjoyed our food but the shining star was definitely this customer service manager. You always learn who the manager is when a problem arises but this woman introduced herself at our service the moment we were seated and so appreciate that. I deducted a star for food because the food was warm not hot and another for atmosphere- the bathroom at this location could use some measures to control odors due to the large crowds.

Was not expecting a great experience, only because it is a chain and due to proximity I have maybe only visited once. Not that I was expected to be disappointed either. I had received a gift card so that was my motivation to take a ride. Immediately upon entry we were greeted by friendly staff and I was introduced to the steak showcase, where if I wanted I could reserve the steak of my choice. I selected the 20oz ribeye, bone in. They have a very specific doneness selection that was easy to understand and on point. I ordered mine medium with mushrooms and onions, loaded baked potato and Mac and cheese as sides. Coupled with a nice selection of adult beverages, I was not disappointed. The rolls with cinnamon butter are second to none and almost can pass for a dessert. The bill came and it was well within reason. Very family friendly, nice atmosphere, good menu. I will be visiting again.

This was in Poughkeepsie, NY. On vacation visiting the BETHEL facility in Patterson, NY. I ordered the grilled salmon and my husband ordered the pork chop meal. They were well seasoned and very tasty. Portion size was adequate (had food to go). It was a little noisy (lots of customers and music). Great service, but I didn't care for way the bill was settled. The 20% gratuity was discussed beforehand amongst the families dining so the waiter would still had gotten a decent tip if the tickets were itemized for each family. But we had to figure out for ourselves the amount we owed the individual that paid the tab. I would try the restaurant in Georgia. The margaritas were good also. Cost was average for the economy we live in.

It was my 1st time visiting Texas Roadhouse. My friend, who lives in Poukeepsie, suggested we eat there. From the greeting at the door to being seated was very hospitable. They bake their own soft, warm rolls and serve them with a flavored butter. My entree was a 1/2 slab of ribs, sweet potato with butter & cinnamon, and corn. Everything was delicious 😋. The ribs were fall off your bone, very well seasoned. I had no complaints with my food & neither did my friends. We left vert satisfied.

It was amazing I loved the food I got the Beef Bites and the steak was cooked to perfection it was delicious when you bit through it and the mash potatoes were amazing. Also the bread was incredible it was fluffy and the taste was anmazing especially with the butter it had some sweetness in it too. Well, this restaurant is part of a large chain and yes, there are locations in Texas. Personally, I tried to steer clear of restaurant chains, but someone I know loves this place so we go once in a while. It’s always busy, good for them. That means the noise level inside is likely pretty high, it is what it is. Starting with the complementary buns everyone loves, that comes with a slightly sweet cinnamony spread (which I understand to be half butter, half margarine, correct me if I’m wrong) this is the kind of food that packs on pounds, clogs your arteries and raises your blood pressure. Of course you’re not likely to die right there, so enjoy it while you can. Now, on to my personal enjoyment. I thought the fried pickles were excessively salty, but the rest of the food was quite good. The portions are quite large and considering all you get, amazingly affordable. The service is very good and friendly and even when it’s very busy, you get your food and a reasonable amount of time. Bottom line, we’ll be back, just not too often.

My boyfriend and I went out on a date to Texas Roadhouse. We were really in the mood for some good steak. Boy did we get some good steak. I got the 6 oz Dallas fillet with crumbled blue cheese on top cooked rare, along with a sidekick of grilled shrimp skewers and the best green beans I have ever eaten. The green beans were cooked with bacon and onion in this gravy and it was so good. I also got a house salad. The house salad was not your normal lettuce, cucumber and tomato, there was egg, cheese, lettuce, tomato, shredded carrots. It was very good. He got the 8 oz Dallas fillet with crumbled blue cheese on top cooked rare. He also got a sidekick of ribs and a loaded sweet potato , broccoli for a vegetable .We had a cactus blossom and fried pickles which were amazing!! For drinks I had an old fashioned which was perfectly made. He had the Long Island iced tea classic which was made perfectly as well. I highly recommend Texas Roadhouse for all their food. They also have hand cut steaks that you can pick when you walk in.

I had been to the one in Danbury so I knew what to expect, place was clean and inviting, staff was friendly. Food was really good, kinda far for me to come back but definitely love Texas Roadhouse.

All the staff were super friendly. Our order was spot on with little wait time. We split a 12oz ribeye which was plenty. My beer was good and cold and served in an icy mug. The soft buns with cinnamon butter almost tasted like cinnamon rolls. All in all it was a very good meal.

Decent food. Great service. Very loud restaurant. Portions have gotten smaller. Parking is annoying. At least the rolls and butter never let you down! The drinks were made exceptionally well.

They sit people pretty close to each other here . Is the only down side The fact that you can hand pick your own steak is an added plus for the steak lovers. Nice selection of red wines that pairs wonderfully with steaks. The food is well seasoned. Dennis was our waiter and he was so patient and even brought out the picture diagram to help me order my steak the perfect way. This place knows how to get your steak exactly how you ask for it. I asked for medium and it came out perfect.

Food, atmosphere, and service were phenomenal. My only gripe was the really cold draft we experienced sitting across the door, despite sitting on the other side of the restaurant.

Texas Roadhouse is amazing. Food is good service good. Only was mid one time the service. I called and requested a table for 10 and they basically said we might not seat you i said ill risk it still add me to reservation and refused to add me. What's the point of having a call in join waitlist if they won't honor it. But the remaining times I have gone has been amazing. So I'll let it go and be back in the future.

The food is excellent the service and the atmosphere are is good. It's clean and well maintained. We were there on a Sunday afternoon. We were seated immediately and waited on just as quickly. The reason that I didn't give 5 stars was because they have a very limited dessert menu. There are only 3 items that really didn't thrill us. But I have no complaints about anything here. I would absolutely go again and would recommend it to others as well.

My birthday, the food is good, fresh, I had to ride the pony. Update: 6/2/24 - Our server was Michelle. She was awesome, making our visit a great experience. I had the prime rib, and it came medium rare as requested. However, my wife and son's steaks were overcooked. Michelle was on it, and she made things right 🙂 No wonder the place down the road is not so busy anymore. This establishment is brighter and livelier, very clean, and all the staff pleasant. Only giving this place 3 stars because there is no vegetarian entree. The family would give it 4-4.5 stars. For vegetarians, you can choose The Country Vegetable Plate which is "pick 4 side dishes". I completely get this is a steak house and I have absolutely no problem with anyone eating meat. I can cook it for my family but I won't eat it. But - I am the one paying the bill and in this day and age, there "should" be an entree other than pick 4 sides. For instance, a portabella burger would be easy enough as there is portabella mushrooms on the menu for other things. The service was fantastic. Decor was nice. The family said the food was good.

The food was good but the kitchen was a little bit slow but it was a very crowded that night though, I did understand a little bit. I would eat there again.

Let me start with the positive. Great Octoberfest beer on tap. My wife said her classic margaritas was perfect. The atmosphere was fun and upbeat. I've heard about their rolls and cinnamon butter. Delicious. Apps are uninteresting but we did try the jalapeños and they were good. I had the prome rib and a Ceasars salad. Highly recommend both. My wife choose the classic salad and the ribs,which is supposedly their specialty. The were extremely dry and tasteless No wet naps provided. Back to the salad Although good they arrived halfway through the meal. Waitress was surprised and went to get them but nothing else to compensate. Told her the ribs were dry, offered bbq sauce. Not comped or another selection. She told us Fridays were really busy and maybe that was why they were dry. Didn't feel like making a big deal about it but since this was our first experience at Texas Roadhouse I was underwhelmed.

Our first time at Texas Roadhouse and I would say it would be our last as well. We came back from a nearby waterpark and wanted a quick dinner before going home. My husband wanted steak so we decided to give this place a try. We didn’t have reservation but was seated right away. Our server was Taigan and she took care of us. We ordered the grilled shrimp and buffalo wings for appetizers. The grilled shrimp wasn’t great.. it was 5 pieces of shrimp on a skewer on top of bread. Some of the shrimp was not grilled properly. For main course we got the hand cut bone in ribeye and ft worth ribeye. Loaded steak fries, cup of chili, Caesar salad, and seasoned rice for our sides. The sides were ok… we only enjoyed the cup of chili and Caesar salad. The seasoned rice was a little undercooked and steak fries were ehh. For the steak, we specifically requested medium rare, server also asked if pink on the meat is good and we confirmed, there were maybe 3/4 pieces that had pink center, but the rest were on the medium and well done side. We brought this up to our server and she asked if she can do anything about it. We said no because what could’ve been done at that point? I guess this review is more for the cook/kitchen staff. I don’t get the hype around Texas Roadhouse. It was an ok experience for us and it’s a one and done. We’ve had better food experience like at longhorn steakhouse or Outback Steakhouse. We were disappointed and dissatisfied with this one :(

I came in here last weekend with my family for a dinner we were supposed to really enjoy, however all got sick from. As I work at another location, I was expecting excellent food as we’ve come to this location in the past and it was great. I was in disbelief of the filet I was served and that it even made it out of the kitchen, when I got my prio meal the chicken was pale, gummy, and fatty, I couldn’t even swallow the first bite. Our server was nice, however any requests I made and added into our order were not made. Once I got my prio meal, I was not checked on to see if I was happy and after so many complaints I had enough and it wasn’t even worth it to say anything anymore. I was told the check was “discounted” however the only discounts made to my meal was taking off what I originally ordered and was not given my employee discount, whatever, it happens. Going home, hours after I was sick to my stomach, along with my sister, and grandmother. Unfortunately this was enough to not bring us back and as a roadie it really saddens me. Maybe it was just an off night, but I just didn’t feel like our table was important to the server, or the restaurant.

Our waitress was great but the food came out lukewarm and my steak had no flavor (the sirloin). Disappointing at best. I think you should pick out your own steak, like I did last time and it was great.

The food was great, it's the first time our kids treat me for something fancy. The 1st time we came here months , we had a great experience that is why we decided to come back. This time around, 1st impression on the server was not good. We are not familiar with the menu and I'm sure he knew about it coz there were times he had to ask twice just to double check if we understood each other. Anyway, there was something extra served in our plate and we thought that was part of our order. When the bill came, I was shocked to see many add ons. I asked the server about it and he said he asked when taking the order. I'm sure he did not. Anyway, I just brushed it off and paid. I have nothing against the place, it just made me conclude that server really matters. And I feel sorry for my kids.

Do not do pickup from this location, half of my order was missing and nobody was there to help. They seriously need to have actual workers at pickup instead of a free-for-all.

The absolute worst dining experience. After explaining to the waitress how my boyfriend was highly allergic to mushrooms and I couldn't have them my steak came out with a mushroom on it! When the manager brought my new steak out and thought that it was just cooked wrong I explained to her why I was upset and she just went oh and walked away! No I'm sorry nothing. The ribs I ordered were so dry they were uneatable. I've eaten there before and have always had a good experience so this was just so unexpected and upsetting.

Our waitress Becca had the nerve to accuse us of stealing after I paid and gave her a tip when I get outside the manager stops me and says the waitress said u didn’t pay… she acted really racist

DONT COME HERE! We were told for a party of 2 people to be a 5-10min wait. Waited 25min while watching larger party’s getting seated then went in to ask what’s taking so long was told “we tried calling you”. I was not contacted at all. I always have issues coming to this location.

I went and picked up an order today at 430PM. The girl at the window had a really mean looking face from the start. I gave her my military coupon for my free meal and her dirty look intensified 100 fold. I guess she doesn’t like Veterans. It doesn’t matter what your political preferences are regarding our government but that shouldn’t intrude onto your professional life and taking it out onto your customers. I told her to have a goodnight and she slammed the window shut and didn’t say anything back to me. Other than that, the food was ok I guess. A little cold but fine.

My wife and I went to this location for a 1:00 lunch on New Years day. When we walked in, we were told it was a 10-20 minute wait by the hostess. After 40 minutes we were not seated yet and at this time the hostess started seating people who checked in after us. My wife and I went to ask the hostess about our seating and she said that she had us going next and that was just how she had it written down. The entire time we were waiting the hostess was acting absolutely disinterested in doing her job. She was totally dismissive of us when we questioned her about our seating. We decided to leave after this because we did not feel comfortable ordering food from a staff that condoned this type of immature behavior. We always enjoyed eating here in the past. We will not be returning.
