We celebrate special occasions with the grandkids, like the first and last day of school and Birthdays, by going out for an Ice Cream (or Frozen Yogurt) treat after school. Our visit to In The Mix Yogurt today made for a Great celebration. Lots of flavors and toppings to choose from and the service was OUTSTANDING. Zoe was behind the counter and was cheerful, friendly, professional, and extremely patient! I’ve been informed we have a new favorite place to go. Thank you Zoe for making a 12 year olds birthday treat a success!

The best frozen yogurt in SD. We spend the summers in North County and for the past 5 years this is the first place we stop when we get off the plane and one of the last places we go before we leave. (and we make many many stops here in between). The coffee froyo is a must and their rotating flavors are always great.

Best frozen yogurt in town. it melts in your mouth and tastes delicious. it’s silky and smooth and an explosion of flavor. My favorite flavor is the mango. Shout out to chad the owner.

My all time FAVORITE place in PTown to get that fro-yo. Sure there might be a million other shops in town, but this is by far the best. They have fresh toppings, awesome flavors and a good mix of tart and creamy options. Punch card? You bet. And you can bet even more that I miss it now that I'm out of the area. Glad they stay open a little later than the surrounding 'hood, because after an early movie, this is where the kids to go grab a treat. Perfect in the summer, just as nice in the fall, because family-owned, locally operated is the only way to go.

This place is so amazing! I come here ALL THE TIME! They have a lot of flavors and toppings, cheap prices, rewards cards, super nice workers, and locally featured art. It's so yummy and really conveniently located. I love this place! Keep up the great work!

The best peanut butter yogurt! Not as fancy looking as Pinkberry but way better taste and a lot more options to choose from. My new favorite yogurt place. Never going back to those other yogurt places.

Better than yogurtland. Limited flavors but they are unique. If you are here try the Ube , biscoff, even the pineapple. More than anything these guys are passionate and keep the place tidy.

This is the best yogurt place I have been to. Love the different flavors. This place is always clean (the most important thing I look at) and everything is always well stocked.

I just discovered Ube frozen yogurt through In The Mix. I was in heaven! Can't find Ube anywhere else. Ube is a yam-like plant, purple in color, found mostly in asian countries. I've seen and had Ube ice cream. But froyo?! Yum! It's not overly sweet, just right. In The Mix is a great place, super clean, lots of toppings, including fruit (mango!), and those fruity Pearls that burst with tropical flavor! The owner, Arlene is just so nice, her and her staff greet you with the utmost, genuine friendliness - it's like walking in an eatery in Hawaii!

Absolutely the most amazing service. I bought the Dole Whip which is vegan and it was so delicious. I had the most positive experience. I will definitely come back again and again.

Ube, Pineapple and Plain Tart yogurt, topped with organic granola is my favorite. They have so many toppings to chose from and love all their flavors.

In the Mix is one of the few mom and pop frozen yogurt shops in the San Diego area that has sugar-free frozen yogurt. I'm diabetic and have been deprived of sweet frozen desserts and a lot of low carb, sugar free ice cream don't seem to cut it for me. Fortunately, In the Mix's sugar free frozen yogurt is great! I got the cheesecake flavor topped with almonds and strawberries. It was sweet, creamy, and smooth! The only thing to note is that they have only one sugar free flavor, but they do rotate it. Hope they have sugar-free ube flavor in the future. Would definitely come again!

Pretty much everyone in Poway knows this place. Ingenious store location, since the Poway valley is perpetually hot. Probably the best frozen yogurt. Best flavor: tart. Cheesecake and strawberry toppings. Aside from their best flavor, tart, they have a rotating set of flavors that change fairly frequently, so it's always a fun time with I've come here ever since they have opened. Now they are a staple yogurt place in Poway. They have always had a chill, homey vibe in their store, and I have always enjoyed stepping in on a hot day. They also have a card that I keep on losing track of... they can compile them into one card if need be.

They have a lot of great flavors and if you like one of them (my wife's favorite is the salted caramel) they will CALL YOU and tell you it's in. It's nice to have a place in Poway with a Vegan option. They always have Frozen Pineapple Sorbet (aka Dole Whip) on tap.

Excellent Frozen Yogurt and toppings -- including hot fudge. Fast & friendly service. Not quite a 5 star because there was only one chocolate flavor, and, although the hot fuge had a dispenser, the chocolate shell was from a squeeze bottle and did not solidify as nicely as what I get in my local yoghurt shop (in Northern California).

I tried out this yogurt shop recently after seeing it often during my errands in Poway. I chose the vanilla and chocolate flavors and was not impressed. The vanilla was okay but the chocolate was very light on the chocolate flavor, much like a store brand basic chocolate ice cream. The ice cream was too icy cold compared to others I have had where there is a good balance between icy and creamy. Also the price per ounce (I asked how much it was) was more expensive then what I pay in Carmel Mt. and Scripps Poway yogurt shop locations. I gave it a try but will stick with my current favorite yogurt ice cream shops.

My daughter and I love this place. The coconut yogurt is amazing with coffee coming in a close second. Lost a star for for customer service. My daughter (6) tripped and dumped her yogurt millimeters from our tabke. Staff saw indlcidebt , Saud nothing to her and I had to pay for another. Some words to my daughter and a freebie to replace would have earned 5 stars. I do buy fromn 2-8 yoghurts a week. Would have liked my daughter to see and example of people caring about someone they don't know .

Arrived, got my son some yogurt, and went to go pay only to realize I forgot my wallet. Thankfully, they took Google Pay. So kudos to them. The place is decent if you're looking to take your kids out for dessert. we hade vanilla and strawberry, which was okay. Sufficient for the kid. They also have really fun spoons that change color when it's cold. Only disappoinment was that the yogurt was a bit liquidy when it came out of the dispenser (see photo)
