Sin duda, el restaurante de referencia en Arnedo. Recientemente galardonado con un sol Repsol, la visita bien vale la pena. El sitio es espectacular, con una serie de cuevas que procuran total intimidad, un servicio amable y eficiente, y una comida, de corte riojano, de gran calidad. Yo destacaría el cabrito asado, pero todo muy bueno.
Arnedo cuenta con varios atractivos para visitar, sus grandes tiendas de calzado, la cueva de los 100 pilares,etc.. y por supuesto, el restaurante Sopitas. Veníamos con grandes expectativas y se cumplieron perfectamente. Un sitio muy chulo, donde antes de ser restaurante, allá por los años 70, fue una mina, mas tarde una bodega y después una cantina. Comida tradicional pero muy currada, vamos, de esas que necesitas mucho mucho tiempo en casa para preparar. La verdad que no había nada en la carta que no llamara la atención, por eso se agradece cuando te dan la posibilidad de medias raciones para así poder probar más cosas. Destacable todo lo que pedimos y lo que se quedó sin pedir también, seguro. Trabajan únicamente con carta, hay alguna cosa que cambia respecto a lo que aparece en la web. Austo!!! 😜
Un lugar con encanto, está ubicado en cuevas. Estás comiendo con total privacidad, en tu propia cueva. El personal es muy atento. La comida fabulosa. Las raciones son abundante. Nosotros pedimos tres platos para compartir y no pudimos con el postre. Las pochas estaban fantástica, la menestra de verduras tenía muy buen sabor (no es lo que más me gusto, tampoco me gustan en exceso las verduras) y las albóndigas de cordero muy, muy ricas. Si quieres comer en lugar diferente este es el restaurante. En la foto de las pochas eso es media ración.
Era nuestro aniversario y queríamos celebrarlo en algún sitio q fuera un poco especial, nos hablaron del Sopitas y la verdad q no nos defraudó, nos dejó asombrados. Un sitio especial y único, en el cual puedes cenar en privado, ya sea en pareja o con amigos. Es como una cueva enorme la cual esta repartida en diferentes espacios, cada cual para diferentes comensales, para dos, para cuatro, para seis.. Los camareros simpatiquísimos y muy atentos. La verdad ha sido una experiencia única y maravillosa, estaba todo buenísimo. Por cierto la casa nos invitó a un aperitivo, crema de calabaza con crujiente de jamón, buenísimo.
Hemos estado comiendo dos personas, con reserva previa ya que por experiencia en este restaurante si no reservas en fin de semana es imposible encontrar mesa. El ambiente muy agradable, llegamos los primeros del servicio de comida del sábado, nos pusieron en uno de los calados del fondo, nos atendió Alberto, creo recordar, súper amable y con buena conversación, muy atento, la comida increíble, el vino un Sierra Cantabria que siempre acompaña bien recomendable 100%, volveremos seguro, gracias
Everything was perfect as always. The waiter was very attentive regarding portion sizes if you order to share. The cannelloni were delicious with an intense porcini mushroom flavor. The croquettes, the peppers, everything was 🤤 so yummy. And all the main courses and desserts were definitely worth ordering again.
Spectacular! We loved everything we ate in a fantastic atmosphere with friendly and attentive service. The roasted peppers were wonderful, and the kid goat was simply divine. The place is incredible. We definitely have to go back. Price: €47/person
Sopitas restaurant is located in the heart of Arnedo's historic center, inside a series of ancient natural caves that were once used as wine cellars. The restaurant consists of several grottos and rooms carved into the rock, giving it a very special, welcoming, and charming atmosphere. The moment you step inside, you enter a unique space that you wouldn't imagine from the outside. It was a complete surprise for my family because I took them there without telling them where we were going, and they loved it. I also asked to be seated in one of the separate alcoves on either side of the restaurant, with wooden doors, which makes it a more intimate and cozy space. The service was impeccable from the moment we walked in until we left. My 8-year-old son was delighted with the service; they even made him a dish specially prepared for him, which I greatly appreciated. And the other dishes we had the pleasure of enjoying were all delicious, each one better than the last. You can taste the care, attention, and hard work that goes into every dish. A place we'll definitely return to, and one I recommend to anyone looking for a truly special and memorable dining experience.
We had lunch in a private room in the cave, ordering à la carte. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful, the food is some of the best I've ever had, and the place is very cozy. We will definitely return. 100% recommended

Restaurant serving typical Riojan cuisine. The food is excellent. In addition to a shared lounge, the restaurant also has individual dining areas. There's no parking. Reservations are required.
When you arrive at the door, you can't imagine the wonder that awaits you inside. The restaurant is shaped like a wine cellar, with separate areas for dining in a special sense of privacy. The staff couldn't be more attentive. If you're with children, they'll prepare whatever they need if the menu doesn't suit their tastes. The food is lovingly prepared, and that's reflected in the exquisite dishes. Eating here is a total success.
I just have to thank Alberto and his entire team for the wonderful treatment they gave my parents. Even without a reservation, they found a space for us to go. You made my parents very happy. Thank you so much! I had such a good time that the following week I visited the restaurant again with someone very special because I didn't want them to miss out on such a wonderful place. We did it from Barcelona on the same day, and it was wonderful! Once again, thank you so much, Alberto, and for those guided tours of the restaurant... see you soon!
A charming restaurant. Good service and very friendly staff eager to please. The dishes are hearty and flavorful. For me, the best dish I tried was the snails. Thank you for the experience. See you next summer!
A fantastic experience from start to finish. The food was quite good, the peppers had an incredible flavor, the cannelloni melted in your mouth, and the goat, which was cooked to perfection, juicy and full of flavor. The octopus, on the other hand, was adequate but not particularly outstanding. Everything else was excellent, and accompanied by an unparalleled atmosphere thanks to the caves, which make the visit not only gastronomic, but also cultural and special. Without a doubt, a place I will return to and one I 100% recommend.
100% recommended. They served us a delicious hake pie tapa to start, and we started with delicious garlic and chorizo croquettes, and spectacular cannelloni with boletus, truffle, and ham. For main courses, we ordered octopus and venison meatballs, all super-soft and flavorful. For dessert, we had mandarin sorbet and a lemon sorbet with cava—an excellent way to end the meal. The place is spectacular; it's a cave and has private seating for tables. We'll definitely return.
It's the best restaurant I've ever been to in my entire life, anywhere in the world!!! First: it's divided into "caves," which gives you incredible privacy, an adventure! Second: the service: very friendly, very professional, they advise and help you so you can enjoy, not sell you something. Incredible! Third: incredible, detailed, very cozy, quiet atmosphere!! Fourth: the food: I've never enjoyed eating as much as I did here. Dishes: -- Boletus cannelloni: delicious, there's love in that kitchen, and it shows in every bite. A must! -- Caramelized piquillo peppers: I'd never tried this dish before, and I loved it, delicious! -- Sprout salad in a Parmesan basket: What? How can a salad be so good? I enjoyed it like never before! -- Cochifrito with piparras: it all boils down to: Incredible, Delicious, Delicious! -- Fish suggestion: grilled squid: no way, I'm writing this and I want to go back, it was delicious!! Not a single complaint, the experience was wonderful and deserves a thousand stars.
Excellent restaurant. Good service and excellent food quality. A good representation of Rioja's gardens. Its location, in one of Arnedo's caves, makes it even more special. We were welcomed with a delicious seafood sauce. Highly recommended are the fried artichokes with shrimp and creamed boletus, the Orio-style fish, and also the cannelloni, as shown in the photo. One of the best restaurant options in Arnedo and the Rioja Baja.
One of my favourite restaurants in Spain. Every time we visit Logroño, we make sure to reserve here, even if it's almost an hour away. You must try the roasted peppers and the croquetas (both types). Honestly, I recommend to order a lot of the starters and share. For main dishes, I prefer fish to meat here.

I can’t fault anything! My experience was perfect from start to finish. The staff was very friendly and welcoming and they paid attention to my strict dietary restrictions and recommended things that they can accommodate for me from the menu. The ambience and decor was unique as the restaurant is built into a cave. The food is above all the best I’ve had in a long time - my favourite was the shrimp and fried artichoke. I left with a very happy tummy and if only I live in Spain I would come here every week!
