I chose this restaurant recommended by local friends, and I must say I was delighted! Warm welcome, beautiful dining room! What can I say about the dishes? An exciting and delicious culinary journey. The staff is friendly and very available to accommodate every need. The pizza chef creates true works of art for the palate! Highly recommended!

It was a pleasant experience. The location is beautiful and is on the main street of Praia a Mare. The service was prompt, and the waiters were quick and professional. The food was excellent and plentiful. The owner was very kind and friendly. We will definitely return.

I ate at this very welcoming restaurant with my parents. The waiters were very helpful and professional, and the dining room also features a beautifully kept garden with parking. We tried fish-based first courses for dinner, and the freshness of the ingredients was evident. My sister, who doesn't like seafood, ordered an equally fabulous, easily digestible pizza. The quality/price ratio is excellent. We'll definitely be back on other occasions!

From Switzerland, we returned to our beautiful Calabria with our family for a few days. We stopped for dinner at this lovely place. We had a wonderful time and ate both the fish and the pizza more than delicious. Thanks to our excellent waiter, Franco. Spectacular location with a gorgeous garden. I forgot about the great price. We'll be staying a few more days and will definitely see you again before we leave.

We just had a lovely lunch in town in Praia A Mare and it was amazing! We had pasta with Shrimps and Zucchini and for second we had Argentinian steak with Porcini mushrooms! All this was in an amazing garden in the back! It was all delicious with fast friendly service! I highly recommend it!

Mi ha deluso il servizio un po' disordinato e di poca esperienza. Per resto rapporto qualità prezzo buona . Ci ritorneremo sicuramente

We chose this restaurant quite randomly and enjoyed it so much that we returned the next evening. It's a simple restaurant but excellent quality. Since we were vacationing with our dog, they reserved a table for us on the lawn so we could enjoy our dinner in peace without disturbing the other guests. Given the sweltering heat of those days, upon arrival, they immediately offered a bowl of water to our puppy. The food was good, and both the restaurant and pizza menus more than met our expectations. The quality/price ratio was excellent, and we were served by very friendly staff.

pizzeria-ristorante che si trova lungo il viale. devo dire che la struttura è molto carina e ampia, con spazio all’esterno. il personale è veloce nel servirti ma non troppo cordiale, anche un po’ grezzo nel parlare. in compenso il cibo era buono ma sono rimasta stupita dalla porzione di patatine che viene a costare 4€, ma è veramente molto ridotta e per di piuttosto erano fredde.

Neither good nor bad. Mixed fish appetizer, all carpaccio, anchovies, and a seafood salad with the same flavor and a vinegary undertone, which I don't like. The first courses were plentiful but not particularly impressive. The place is still beautiful, centrally located, and the service very professional.

Siamo andati per cena nella settimana di ferragosto. Locale tutto sommato ben tenuto. Il servizio è stato estremamente caotico. Tovaglie e bicchieri sporchi. Antipasto di carne e primo di carne buoni. Primo di pesce non di qualità (il gamberone in particolare non era buono).

Cena tra amici Accolti in sala non sparecchiata ma accomodati in sala all aperto. Ordinati dell'insalate di mare pasta allo scoglio e del tonno alla piastra. Antipasti non ottimi, sembravano preconfezionati, il primo molto buono, la pasta fresca ha reso tanto, il tonno non mi ha soddisfatto appieno. A parte il taglio sbagliato e la cottura esagerata, per me non era tonno. I wasn't staying here for an overnight stay; I had dinner here with my family. If you want to eat a lot, I wouldn't recommend it because the pizza was sparse. My son had a pizza with sausage and fries, and they barely added two ingredients! The Italian-style fried food arrived after the pizzas (fried food: 3 potato croquettes, 2 mini supplì, all for €7; basically, not much). But the waiters are helpful and friendly. Good potential, but they haven't fully utilized it. Prices are still exorbitant!

I came to this restaurant for dinner with friends. The location isn't bad, being on the main street. We ordered à la carte, paying a fairly reasonable price. The food was quite good, though some dishes lacked a bit of saltiness for our taste. The thing that made us most uncomfortable, however, was the familiarity of one of the waiters during the evening. While there was a nice atmosphere at first, after a while it became more annoying and intrusive, preventing us from fully enjoying the evening. As for the rest of the staff, things were generally good. Nice location.

I'm not saying it must be the same experience for everybody, but for me at least it was quite disappointing.. First of all, I cannot comprehend how a restaurant can, at a touristy destination, function without waiters that speak English.. the guy that took our order couldn't even explain if we wanted the quattro formaggi pizza with tomato sauce or without, and an other waiter, that we called to the table, couldn't understand that we were asking for the bill.. unbelievable.. As for the food, I had the 'Menu Mare' and my husband a 4 Formaggi pizza. The pizza was ok, nothing extraordinary, nothing bad. The menu however was a total disappointment.. The first dish was lots of orecchiette with some tomato sauce and hints of swordfish. The second dish was supposed to be baby squids with vegetables. The squid was absolutely tasteless, wasn't cleaned properly and the vegetables were frozen carrots and beans. Also, on the menu it was written that the coperta is included (at least to my understanding), yet they charged us again, and didn't even bring us the water that was supposed to be included. For me it was a bad experience, and I would't go back for sure..

Mi dispiace dirlo ma purtroppo devo fare una recensione negativa. Eravamo 12 persone fin qui tutto bene. Arriva il cameriere per prendere l’ordinazione e da qui inizia il tutto,cameriere come se parlasse con la sorella dialetto è una confidenza che noi non gli abbiamo dato. Finisce di prendere l’ordinanzione dopo un po’ comincia ad arrivare tutto insieme(antipasti primi e secondi),io personalmente ho preso delle patatine fritte che volevo fare tipo “antipasto” e una tagliata di carne rucola e grana(carne devo dire buona)l’ho richiesta senza grana ma con pomodorini,quindi con rucola e pomodorini,arrivano insieme patatine e carne 🤦🏻‍♀️vedo la carne con la grana e la faccio rifare essendo allergica al grana,tornano con la seconda tagliata senza ne grana ne pomodorini ne rucola🤦🏻‍♀️se la porta indietro e dopo un po torna il cameriere chiedendomi se era con rucola e pomodorini🤦🏻‍♀️,ritorna con la tagliata e finalmente arriva come avevo richiesto 🥳. Poi il resto del pesce che hanno preso i miei familiari compreso mio marito incommentabile. Morale della favola servizio lascia il tempo che trova,e sicuramente io non ci tornerò mai più. Prezzo 283€ che se avessimo mangiato bene non ci si può lamentare ma da quello che ho visto e ho mangiato compreso i parenti prezzo esageratissimo.

Abbiamo cenato ieri sera in questo ristorante io e la mia ragazza, devo dire che il personale non sa neanche dove si trovi, soprattutto quello più anziano. Veniamo serviti appunto da lui specificandogli all’inizio quattro volte, non una non due ma ben QUATTRO volte che volevamo due menù fissi di terra (primo/secondo/contorno/acqua) a 20€ + 2€ di coperto. Iniziamo ad ordinare tranquillamente, in quaranta minuti mangiamo tutto (la qualità del cibo non era ottima ma era commestibile), quando arriviamo in cassa peró qualcosa non quadra. Non quadra perchè invece di spendere appunto 44€ ci siamo trovati con 88€ bensì il doppio, il cameriere che c’ha serviti ha pensato bene di non informarci che le pietanze da noi ordinate non c’entravano niente con il menù fisso (non si è nemmeno ricordato di segnare il numero del tavolo), chiamandolo in cassa ha ammesso di aver sbagliato ma successivamente ha dato tra virgolette la colpa a noi di non esserci accorti che le pietanze scelte avevano un costo diverso. Anche la signora che stava in cassa non ha voluto sentire ragioni, sorrideva come un’ebete come se avesse due comici davanti e c’ha fatto pagare 88€ dicendo che il menù fisso aveva delle pietanze a parte che doveva elencarci appunto il cameriere. Guardando lo scontrino il coperto da 2€ era diventato 2,50€ e le verdure grigliate da 4€ erano diventate 5€, diciamo che c’hanno fregato bene!!! Non sanno lavorare!!! Ora capisco perché siamo riusciti a trovare subito posto, abbiamo chiamato un sacco di ristoranti ed erano tutti pieni, svelato il mistero!! È inutile dire che in questo posto squallido non ci metteremo più piede, spero venga chiuso presto!!

Siamo entrati alle 20:10 e alle 20:50 avevamo finito( antipasto primo e secondo)...in pratica ogni pietanza era precotta. Consiglio spassionatissimo...scappate a gambe levate! Chi è abituato a mangiare bene rimarrà incredulo di fronte a questo locale, a partire dal cameriere che ti dà del tu e si prende confidenze mai concesse. Le pietanze di mare sono il peggior pesce surgelato mai mangiato. Cozze e vongole sono addirittura pericolose a mio avviso. Vino bianco servito caldo. Dopo aver chiesto il secchiello con ghiaccio lo portano con 3 litri d'acqua dentro e n.7 cubetti di ghiaccio. Prezzo assolutamente esagerato. Ripeto, chi è abituato a mangiare bene troverà una grande delusione alle Arcate.

A restaurant from the 80s Everything is old: the menu, the man taking orders, the tables, the chairs, the tablecloths... Old, old, old. I order a pizza and another arrives. My husband orders a calzone, but a sock would have been better. I would recommend changing management and renovating everything.

I went to dinner at this restaurant attracted by the good reviews, but I have to say they were far from true. The restaurant is stuck in the 1970s, old and dilapidated, like the management. The tablecloths were stained and smelly, as were the glasses, full of smudges and stains. We ordered three starters: two scialatelli and a pacchero, all seafood-style, where the quality of the fish was subpar; the mussels were cold, and the sauce was scorching, a sign of pre-made dishes reheated on the spot. The staff was awkward and inadequate; they didn't even know how to serve customers. Ultimately, avoid this place entirely. Anyone who says otherwise simply can't tell fresh fish from frozen.
