I had a wonderful experience at the Malga Ründai farmhouse. I was there on Sunday, September 15, 2024, following the third Golden Retriever gathering. I and others enjoyed excellent pizzoccheri—fettuccine with fingerling mushrooms and blueberries, and ribs with taragna polenta and cheese. I highly recommend it. However, it requires a nice, but rewarding, hike in the mountains.

Braised beef from the farm-to-table with truly exceptional taragna polenta!! The welcome is truly commendable!! Fair prices for the quality and deliciousness of the fresh, local produce offered! A charming little spot on the slopes, away from the hustle and bustle of Alpe Palù, with outdoor loungers for relaxing in the sun: perfect for a lunch break on a day of skiing (especially considering the speedy service)!! It will become a regular stop!! If you plan to go during peak hours, reservations are a must, as the space is very small: there are two tables for 6-8 people and a charming veranda with three tables for two.

We often go there when we ski in Chiesa; the first time was in the summer with our furry friend. The appetizers were excellent, with their cured meats and cheeses, and the best pizzoccheri we've ever eaten. The polenta with melted cheese was amazing, and the desserts were fantastic. Everything can be paired with a wide selection of wines. Excellent family-run agriturismo!! A must-see!!! Highly recommended

You have to book, and despite being very nice the service is painfully slow (but thankfully we got a blue sky day and sat outside and Frank a beer whilst waiting). The food however was exactly as we were told it would be, exceptionally rich and tasty. The best mountain lunch I think I've had, and the area is not a rip off like many ski resorts.

Definitely the best place for eating when you are skiing on the area. Place is really nice. One of the best Pizzocheri of the whole valley is served here. Just for that it is worth the visit 😉 You can spend there a couple of hours to have a good break. Deck chairs are availble if you want to enjoy the sun. It is a well known place so usually very busy. Come early or late!!

We ate lunch today. The place is very charming. Very close to Lake Palù. Despite the crowds, the service was quick and impeccable. The food was excellent, everything we ate, including what our two children had. Excellent cured meats and cheeses, pizzoccheri, tagliolini with cream, chanterelle mushrooms, and blueberries, and tagliolini with ragù sauce were exceptional. We also had the polenta with excellent sausage. Not to mention the desserts, a wide selection, delicious cakes. Highly recommended. The jams are also excellent. The efficient and friendly service is noteworthy. We will definitely be back.

This agriturismo exceeded my expectations. It's a truly small establishment, but it's conveniently located. The quality of the meat is truly excellent, I recommend the sliced ​​beef. Terrible service; there are no trained waiters, and very few to manage the entire agriturismo. They make you wait a long time and aren't as well-prepared as you'd expect. Prices are a bit high, but nothing surprising.

We've been there many times in the past, even during COVID (when the facilities were open), and we had a great time. Over the past two years, we've found the staff to be very rude; they're always surly and annoyed, with just about everyone. Don't worry, we won't bother you again; we'll go elsewhere.

The food is good, but kindness isn't their strong point. Be careful with reservations: they hadn't noted the reservation for one table, and they'd gotten the time wrong for mine. Generally, there were a lot of curt and annoyed responses; only one member of staff was kind and understanding.
