nos encantó los chilaquiles estaban muy deli un lugar tranquilo para desayunar con amigas y el agua del día fresca de pepino con limon nos dieron una salsa la señorita muy amable al atendernos buen servicio sin duda volvere :)

Una gran experiencia que se disfrutó. Siguiendo con las recomendaciones llegamos a Café, Mar y Cielo. Nuestro brunch fue muy bueno, buena atención y ricos platillos, bien porcionados. Pedí unos chilaquiles de pollo y huevo, muy ricos. De beber me pedí un cold brew, muy bueno sin leche. El lugar está bonito y fresco, además de que la atención es muy buena y no es muy tardado el servicio.

Amazing--the best brunch place in Puerto Escondido!! Marcelo the chef is the best--there were no waitstaff the first day we walked in, so he came to personally take our order. We went here every day for the rest of the trip, and he came to take our order each time just for tradition's sake! Or he loved us, I don't know. ORDER THE CHOCOBANANA. And the pancakes are the most beautiful delicious pancakes I've seen. He gave us free refills of chocobanana too. Not only Marcelo but the entire waitstaff are kind, lovely, happy, and cheerful! And there are cute dogs lounging around. Just a great, happy place to begin your day, can't recommend enough! Thank you Cafe Mar y Cielo!!

Where do I even start! We had chilaquiles with chicken and egg and some enmoladas! Both dishes were just so so delicious and filling! The portions are very generous and the dishes are served with love to detail: There are many different flavors and textures going on and they all just merge together prefectly! So prepare for a gustatory experience - it’s spicy, sweet, salty, creamy, crunchy - all the good stuff! And the homemade mole is just divine - it was very rich in texture and flavor, hands down one of the best we had tried! (Also Marcelo was the first person kind enough to let us know that Mole, aside from being delicious, might be a little bit tricky for our European stomaches) All in all we just had the best breakfast experience! Marcelo is such a friendly and welcoming host! He takes interest in every customer and watches out for everyone to have a good time :) You can see and feel his excitement for you to try his food right from the moment you enter! We will definitely come back while we’re here - also to try the pancakes which look just perfect!

Marcelo is such a great human being. He attended us well and he’s also a great cook :) He takes care and feeds stray dogs like medicating a pup that needed help for his eyes. The overall vibe of the restaurant was also relaxing. Would definitely recommend and will return!!

A great little cafe owned and run by an enthusiastic young chef Marcelo. We really enjoyed all of the delicious dishes he's prepared for us. He cooks with great love and care and you can tell he loves what he does. Please be patient as wait can be a bit long. Don't come here expecting a quick bite or if you're in a rush. Come here for a culinary experience and spend time chatting with the chef who makes you feel welcome and right at home. Note: cafe is located next to the entrance to the Valhalla. Highly recommend!

Specifically went to this restaurant based on review ratings and we were extremely disappointed and surprised how this place managed to get high review scores! We thought of and should’ve left when we first arrived upon seeing very young waiters who looked hungovers and might have also been the cooks as all the food came from cans such as chilaquiles sauce and refried beans. Really unfortunate when homemade options from other restaurants are much better.

De nuestro grupo de 3 a ninguna nos gustó el sabor de lo que pedimos, y ordenamos diferentes cosas. El cold brew NO ES cold brew, es café de cafetera industrial y servido en frío. La atención lentísima. Lástima porque se veía prometedor.

Gente seré lo más objetiva y mi comentario es para que no vivan una mala experiencia. Lean antes las reseñas negativas que tiene el lugar y crean. No se dejen guiar por la calificación, nosotros lo hicimos aún leyendo las reseñas malas, acudimos a querer desayunar y gran decepción. No es un restaurante grande, aprox 6 mesas, cuando llegamos solo había una mesa disponible nos dieron las cartas y después de 25 minutos decidimos retirarnos porque nadie se acercó a tomarnos la orden. El sarcasmo con el que contesta la persona respecto a las reseñas negativas es porque trata de minimizar o desacreditar los comentarios. Cuando deberían tomarse en cuenta para mejorar y crecer. El lugar no es grande, máximo para 20 a 25 personas y ¿3 personas de servicio no se dan a basto? La carta no es tan variada para justificar el tiempos de espera. El restaurante colinda con un hotel y me dio la impresión que el restaurante está pensado en la gente que se hospeda en el mismo y no para visitarlo como turista, tal vez por eso la mala atención al cliente.
