Lugar agradable, yo fui a desayunar junto con mi pareja, pedimos 2 platillos para compartir. Vista maravillosa que brinda el lugar, la atención super amable los meseros. Al entrar en la puerta señalan que no aceptan tarjeta, no quise arriesgarme si solo es un anuncio viejo, y pague en efectivo.

We got there pretty much at closing, I approached Daila, the manager and explained to her that we wanted some quick appetiser and drinks, and if it was possible to still take us, since we were celebrating my son’s b’day. She graciously took us. We would have never expected how incredible the staff made it happen for us, including our server, Aldo during dinner!. Incredible crispy fish baja-style tacos and guacamole. You have to try this place to believe it! Muchas Gracias!

The point has a great location on stilts over the bay. Great food, especially the Chile Rellenos and the sea bass in foil. They do a good guacamole as well. Clean bathrooms and a short walk from the parking lot. Highly recommend

We walked in as they were opening up. I ordered mimosas, garlic shrimp and the point margarita. And it was perfect. Service was fast, ocean view and the food was perfect.

Food was good. Views are one of a kind. Initial service was lacking. Seated and not given menus or stopped on by a wait staff for at least ten minutes. After this, we were better attended to. Steak fajitas were steaming hot as served. Beef enchiladas were good, and their rice tastes extra soft and buttery with great flavor. Margarita was great too, but tequila sunrise didn't taste like it had much alcohol.

Absolutely beautiful views! The staff were super nice the whole way through. The peach daiquiri & piña colada were good, perfect for a hot day! I love spicy food & usually add more hot sauce to everything, but the aguachiles were perfectly spicy on their own! Very good! Just wish I had avocado in it. Other than that, would return! Our last night in Puerto Peñasco and we decided to finally go to The Point Restaurante Bar for dinner. It seemed that we looked to be the first customers of the evening and I (Amy) ordered something with chicken off the menu, since I don’t eat any seafood (allergic to shellfish) and Stephen ordered some Coconut Shrimp. A few minutes later the chef came back out with the waiter to tell me that the chicken meal I had decided on would take awhile to marinate and cook, taking about 45 mins. It was early and we we’re willing to wait, but instead Chef Fernando asked if he could make me a one of a kind chicken dish. I said why not, so he asked what I did & didn’t like, to make sure he made it perfectly for me. I can honestly say it was absolutely delicious, one of the best meals I’ve ever had!! I asked what it was called and he didn’t even have a name. He asked my name and of course Stephen piped in, so they jokingly said it is now called the Princess Amy Special. Stephen said his meal was delicious as well. We also ordered The Point Margarita, which was yummy with a beautiful presentation. I’ll just end this with, the tide was perfect, the view was amazing and the food and service were spectacular! Edited to add: I’ve since been contacted by Chef Fernando and the Princess Amy dish will now be offered on the menu! So very cool!

From the outside the building looks like it needs some attention with the different colors of paint and the HUGE stilts but the inside offers a nice atmosphere and the food is AMAZING! I had enchiladas, rice & beans and I happily cleaned my plate. My boyfriend had the chili relleno and he said it was great! His son had the tortilla soup and couldn't stop raving about it! My son had the Carne asada tacos and was very happy! The service was great and the sunset was INCREDIBLE from the back windows! I would definitely recommend this spot!

Muy buen servicio por parte de los meceros muy amables la comida muy rica una vista muy relajante . Unico detalle muy sucio el restaurat en general..

El lugar está muy bien ubicado, ya que es el único restaurante que está sobre el mar: ideal para ver la puesta de sol a la orilla del mar. El personal muy amable. Lo único que las porciones son pequeñas vs el Costo. Y la comida no es tan “gourmet” como la aparenta el lugar. Pero todo tenia rico sabor.

Beautiful view and decent prices!!! Really relaxing. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars was that I ordered a steak and shrimp and got this piece of thin meat. Everything else was Fantastic!

Damon our server was super attentive and professional. Ocean View is pretty much the best at fish market. Menu is reasonably priced. We only shared the steamed clams...they were served cold, but were tasty. I sense food is probably just so so here...but view is unbeatable

Some dishes were better than others but not enough to call it more than a 6.5 perhaps out of 10. I love the view and the service but the food was alright. I can't say I am surprised seeing that Rocky Point has never been known for its food. Anyone who has been to San Carlos/ Guaymas will understand. I chose this place based on a previous visit years ago but this visit wasn't what it used to be.

Sitting outside provides a great view. The service is exceptional however the food seems quite bland. The sauce they use for chips taste like tamato soup and is used on other foods like enchiladas & some fish. The place is a seafood restaurant so order sea food and song bother with the idea menu choices. Place was pretty clean for the most part expect the random pigeon walking inside pooping ok the floor waiting for scraps. Restrooms worked well and seemed pretty well maintained also.

I'm giving this place a 3. The service was good. You can eat on the patio overlooking the ocean and the sunset which was also good. The food to me was just average at best. A lot of fried food. Kids didnt like the chicken as they said it tasted different. Probably cooked in the same oil as the fish. But I did get a great picture of the sunset from here. The second picture is of the Point Restraurant in the background.

Decadente. Una ubicación que lo debería de hacer de talla mundial, sin embargo esta sucio y descuidado. Se gana la segunda estrella por la buena atención del personal.

Realmente pagas por la vista pues el servicio deja mucho qué desear. Los platillos tardaron casi una hora en llegar y los trajeron a destiempo. Cuando los trajeron, medio insípida la comida y sin chiste los platillos y las porciones muy pequeñas. Además, caros. Si piden jarra de agua/limonada, que sea con los hielos en vasos aparte o les van a dar media jarra de líquido y lo demás de hielos.

Pésimo servicio tanto la comida está sin sabor como el personal que nos atendió pedimos la comida para llevar y nos dio una charola para que nostros la metiramos lo único rescatable es que tiene una hermosa vista al mar y los aros de cebolla que están buenos

Pésima experiencia. La comida no estaba para nada buena, 2 de las personas de las que iba acompañada y yo tuvimos una infección estomacal debido a sus chiles rellenos de camarón, los frijoles tenían un sabor desagradable como echados a perder. Habia una cucaracha en una de las paredes.... Nos atendieron 3 meseros diferentes porque el que se suponía que nos estaba atendiendo se acercaba cada mil años.

⭐0 star 👎👎👎 (owner need to see this) Very disappointing experience. My wife and I had a reservation at 9:30 PM hoping to enjoy some good fish and the nice view. Unfortunately, the night was completely ruined. Our food didn’t arrive until around 11:15 PM—after the restaurant had already closed. When it finally came, it was undercooked, smelled bad, and was simply inedible. We tried to speak with the manager, but she showed no professionalism or concern. Instead of listening to our complaints, she insisted the food was fine and blamed us for not liking it. Every time we tried to speak, we were cut off. To make it worse, some of the staff made rude comments in Spanish. When I replied in English, they immediately responded, confirming they understood us all along. I asked to have the garlic fish and fajitas removed from the bill since they were not edible. They refused and told me they would just pack it to go. When I went to pay, they said “cash only,” even though I only had a card. After making me wait 15 minutes, they finally said they could accept my card. This place seriously lacks customer service. We came to enjoy a meal with a view—not to be disrespected, wait two hours, and be treated like we were the problem. The owner needs to take a hard look at how this staff treats customers. Totally unacceptable.
