Super tasty food. I rarely enjoy sushi without soy sauce, but the ones I got here (monkey roll and citrus) were perfect on its own ! Good cocktails, knowledgeable staff, stylish atmosphere. I’d work on the playlist, cause some of the music is in English and it’s not always the finest lyrics 😅 Definitely would be back !

The most amazing sushi! I am a HUGE sushi enthusiast in the USA and I know the difference between average sushi and excellent sushi. This restaurant was recommended to my boyfriend so we decided to try it! Omg! The best!!! We had three incredible sushi rolls and a miso soup. The miso soup was amazing! Not only did it have miso broth and tofu but had cellophane noodles, mushrooms and spinach! The decor is elegant and the service was excellent! We also had two beers along with the three sushi rolls and soup!

Wow! It's hard to describe how impressed my wife and I wee tonight with Yeo Sushi. We started with some nigiri, roasted baby corn, and the ribeye gyoza. It was awesome! Next course was the octopus carpaccio & a roasted whole octopus. Cooked perfectly and tasted delicious. I don't remember the name of the last food item we had, but it was like a ceviche in a crispy roll. Very light and fresh. Didn't really have room for dessert so we just split the Yeo version of the banana pie. It's big. We finished it. The service was outstanding. We even had a sommelier stop by offering wince pairings or sake. We don't know much about sake but figured it would be worth a shot. The sommelier asked us a few key questions & she made a terrific choice; it really blended well with our food selection. Do yourself a favor & try Yeo Sushi in Romantic zone PV. We will definitely be back!

We go to Yeo at least once per month and we always enjoy it. We love the fun, lively ambiance, the service is always great and the food is always solid. The crispy rice cakes are a must and the favorite roll is Tuny Especial!

Best sushi restaurant we found in Puerto Vallarta. Excellent quality, nice modern, hip atmosphere. Everyone is most Spanish speaking, but Luis the manager is fully bilingual and very friendly and helpful. Spicy tuna roll was excellent. The Yeoshimi is more like ceviche than sashimi, as Yeoshimi is in a citrus sauce like ceviche, good but different.

We arrived right when they opened today, trying to kill some time in the area. I am so happy we lucked into this jewel! This is arguably the best combination of flavors I've ever had in a roll, and their soy sauce with fresh citrus flavor is the only way i ever want to have it again. Price was incredibly reasonable and the staff was very friendly and Covid-conscious. The outdoor seating area felt super elegant without being pretentious. Will absolutely be back!

The BEST sushi restaurant in all of PV (Prove me wrong, I dare you) everything we've had is delicious and so fresh. The sashimi, rolls, even the Ramen is 🔥. The drinks! I do have my fav the mezcalito/maracuya 🤤

Alfredo and the team made the dinner a great and enjoyable evening. It was our 16 year Wedding Anniversary and they surprised us with a house desert. The food was great and the atmosphere was a great way to spend the evening. If you're in PV, I would definitely recommend it.

Yummy sushi and noodle dishes. Happy they have a tofu option!

Well I discovered that I like tuna sashimi here and can* eat fish sometimes! This was my second time eating here and both times I enjoyed their Lychee martinis. The chicken skewers had such a great sauce and the fried rice is good but honey is a odd addition for me. Also had the tempura ice cream for dessert and that was heavenly.

The sushi was absolutely divine. And don't sleep on the misoshiro soup.

Unagi!! Deliciousously crafted rolls, prepared with precision. Amairani and her assistant attended to our every need, sometimes even before we thought of them. Phenomenal sushi coupled with outstanding service.

Went to Yeo Sushi tonight. We ordered the Softshell Crab Roll (which was our favorite), Grizzly Roll, Moshi Roll and the Tuny Especial. All rolls were 8 pieces. They offered normal soy sauce and a special soy sauce that had lemon and orange added in. I wasn't crazy about the special soy sauce but my wife loved it. They also offered sliced jalapeños on the side for those that like to add that. Overall, the sushi was excellent and so was the service. For those that don't like cream cheese in their rolls, only one of these rolls had it.

Incredible detail and flavors. This is true food art, every texture and flavor was on point, even the Wassabi was somehow fluffed up so that it disolved easy in the soy. My only suggestion would be to make the Wassabi a little bit more spicy punch to it. Overall, worth every penny. Great ambience and decore as well.

I cannot say enough good things about Yeo. I fell in love with it, and ate there several nights out of my 10 day vacation. The food was delishous. The presentation of the food was unbelievable. And slthe service was impeccable. Our waiter was Ceasar. He was perfect. The waiters were always coming by the table making sure we had everything we needed but not hovering over us. I absolutely love this place. The prices were kind of pricey but well worth it for what you get. It's rare that you get good food, great presentation and wonderful service altogether. You must try it. You won't be disappointed.

Love the variety of protein and the fact that the menu is semi traditional! As I am not a fan of super large fried rolls with tons of cream cheese, I really enjoy Yeo. The dishes center on the protein, rather than fillers. For that reason, although pricier, you get your money’s worth. Service is excellent as well.

Would have been five Stars if the waiter would have been on board with our table. The kitchen was however, and knocked it out of the park. Freshest and best quality of Sushi in Puerto Vallarta. Beautifully designed interior and quality dining settings from the crystal glassware to the black clay fired dinnerware, and heavy hand painted & lacquered wood chopsticks We sampled a bit of everything and there were nothing but praises for everything food and beverage wise, but we all have our down days and this was probably the waiter's so he gets a pass, because other waiters stepped up and insured we had a great time over our Lunch at Yeo.

I have to say, sushi was probably the last cuisine I would’ve chosen to eat in Mexico, but my semi-local friend said he had a really good place for it, and he’s generally not wrong. I loved it all and everything we had sat with me as expected. The sweet spicy edamame had an incredibly delicious sauce on it and I could’ve eaten 5 plates of it. I have incredibly mild tastebuds and they had a small kick (if any) to them. The yeoshimi (mixed) was great, but I think I would get all tuna next time. With Serrano, this was a bit spicier but I definitely enjoyed it. For maki, we had the maguro roll, and I would totally order this again. The only loser was the tako carpaccio, which shows up at the table with a cover on it, to keep “smoking” the dish. I felt like it was drenched in bong water. Went on a Monday evening, and wish we were told (ahead of time) that it was 2-for-1 margarita night 🤷‍♀️

Tried the Yakitori very delicious. Made a reservation for 10+. The wait time for food to be served was over an hour. Ovarall the restaurant ambient was great.

Compared to Sushi places that I've been to in the United States, the food was pretty good. Much better than food court or Supermarket sushi, but not as good as most places I've been to in the US. We tried one of their famous Monkey Rolls with the banana on it. It tastes like peanut butter, which was strange to us, but it was fun to try something different. The Ebi Roll with dried tempura shrimp was delicious. The salmon nigiri was great too. The only concern I had was that the pieces were a bit too large to comfortably fit in your mouth. We went on Tuesday and got the all-you-can-ear deal for $199 MXD. What we ordered would have been more expensive than that, so it worked out nicely. They took a long time to make the rolls - we were there for 2 hours - but the waiter was really nice and spoke English quite well.

Excellent sushi. Fresh, nice portions and delicious. They don't appear to have any sort of an AYCE option at all, but prices are ok. Cabo prices were a bit cheaper. I can't really speak to the service since I was the first and only one in there at the time, but it was speedy and quite cordial. I've had sushi all over the world and this place is as good as any excellent sushi restaurant you'll find. One note however, they call a "hand roll" a "Japanese cone," which is kind of cute in a way, but I've never heard it called that before. And they stuff theirJapanese cones with plenty of fish.

Great cocktail and sushi options. They have other items available to cater to the non sushi eaters. Great atmosphere and cute outdoor seating area!

Expensive, awesome food! My photo shows sixtyeight dlrs worth of food. I should be precise and say, drinks are about 12-14$ each, but no prices listed for them on wall chart. So just eat, don't drink! Food is amazingly good! Rolls for $12-15 US are great, but ramen soup is best. I like to know "what the catch" is, and here we didn’t guess it. The high-end drinks. Large meal is the same price as one watered-down gin and fruit juice.

Excellent service, but I have to say, was disappointed in the nigiri sushi. It was quite expensive for only one piece. The flash fried edamame was unique and definitely something to try. The pot stickers didn't seem fresh and were probably pre-mades/frozen. Most all the rolls were "cream cheese" based, but we found some options without that. The wine list was extremely limited and not up to par for what they are trying to do, but the sake options were nice. Service was excellent from everyone in the restaurant. Regarding the atmosphere, we really enjoyed the natural wood decor, but could do without the TVs playing music videos throughout the restaurant. It would have been better having a Buddha Bar music vibe so you could better socialize at your table.

Really good sushi top quality! Atmosphere is Amazing! The service was good until the bill came. The waiter sadly decided to keep one of the 500 peso notes for himself and then proceeded to act as if the amount I left was incorrect. An unfortunate ending to a really good dining experience. I will try Yeo sushi again as I'm hoping this was an isolated incident. However next time I will pay with a card .

The place is nice, service was good too. But me and my husband both didn’t like the food, all rolls were way too salty, there was no flavor or texture balance unfortunately.

Weird selection of sushi and rolls. All the rolls are kind of weird ones. Way overpriced for the quality of the food.

We've been going to Yeo since 2021. I noticed during our last couple of visits that the food quality had gone down. We dinned there last night and the food was just poor; not fresh, bland, mealy texture to the fish, and more fried (seemingly to hide the poor quality?) The three stars is for the staff who was, in general, attentive. I think that will be our last visit to Yeo, I don't plan to go back.

M
Mateo Rodriguez

It was okay, some specialty sushi but nothing to write home about! Staff was friendly, but we waited a fair bit for our food.

G
Gary Gibson

Should be called a fusion or roll house. While the recipes are interesting this is not a place for serious Sushi folks. Nigiri and sashimi have very limited all-so-ran selection. At the same time charging very steep prices one piece at a time. The rolls contain minimal fish.

R
Rob Drake

Was hoping for some excellent sushi! However the gyoza 4 small pcs, served almost cold. Very disappointing. The rolls just average, light on the fish, nothing special or presentation. Order hot Sake ! Well when it comes out boiling hot and you can’t pick up the bottle! What does that tell you. They don’t Know how to serve it warm. I guess when they hand you the warn out wrinkled menu it’s a warning of what’s to come. Floors even dirty, black walls. The Web is misconception of the true inside. Look elsewhere if you want true good sushi.😟

This is a lengthy review! My partner and I came here for dinner recently and our experience was averagely okay, not the best, but could definitely be improved for the better. First of all, their restaurant is extremely nice, fancy, and clean. It has a pleasant ambiance to it. Aesthetics aside, their food could be better in our opinion. The soy sauce ramen was extremely salty and I’ve never had soy sauce ramen with broth being so salty before (if you need reference, I’m an Asian person who eats Asian cuisine my entire life). Their broth needed better ratios to combat the saltiness. Their sushi on the other hand weren’t so bad. The flavors were there, and my partner and I travel a lot, but we agreeably say that their sushi is a little to below average in being the best. Although, probably better than the ones we ate here in Pto. Vallarta so far. Secondly, we tried ordering things on their menu, but many items were “unavailable or out of stock”, so we always had to change our mind many times… and it was disappointing. Thirdly, staff want to upsell you to their more expensive items on their menu -- we didn't appreciate that. It was evident that our waiter wanted us to order the expensive items and was disappointed about our choices — which did not make sense to me. We came to eat what we want and the last time we checked, he’s not the one ordering. He got one of our orders wrong for their more expensive miso soup when we wanted the original, basic one — though we just decided not to say anything because we ate and paid for it and let him do his job. Lastly, we think their staff aren’t trained to be professionals. The host standing outside was using his phone and didn’t even look at us, so we had to just talk to the host inside. None of their staff members thanked us for being there or anything. They didn’t even smile, they just got our money, cleaned the tables, and left -- yes it means a lot if you want your customers to return. We didn’t complain in person, but I just want to voice out our experience and our strong opinions so that they could read this to improve themselves, and for readers like you to know what it was like for us. Note: IT WILL ALWAYS BE A DIFFERENT EXPERIENCE FOR EVERYONE!

We decided in the evening to visit this cafe. Ordered three dishes. The first dishes were brought overcooked, it smelled very bad, asked to clean from the table. The second roll was good. The third roll forgot to bring. Lemonade with lychee was very sour, although lychee sweet fruit. Ginger and soy sauce must be asked for themselves. Also surprised by the zero napkins on the tables, but waitress get a napkin for your knees. I don’t recommend this place

P
Patricia F

Only one star so that I can post a review. The salmon on my roll had gone bad. Now I am violently ill, and I fly home tomorrow. I ate one piece and almost vomited at the table. The food is garbage. Stay away. Got the bill and left. Everything is over priced. The service is awful. Not worth it. Won't be back.

M
Malak Abbas

Whatever you do, DO NOT EAT HERE. I have been eating sushi my whole life and both my husband and I are used to raw foods but both got extremely I’ll and have food poisoning including diarrhea and nausea all night and I have a flight to catch this AM. This place is by no means cheap at all. We paid over 1900 pesos and the service was great but the food was extremely bland and lacked flavor. I would not recommend anyone to return. If I can give less stars I would have. I have attached the photos of food we ate

G
Gregory Scholom

The food is really tasty, but the experience is ruined by deception, offering 2x1 drinks and then first charging for both drinks, and then after complaint charging $270 pesos for a watered down fruit gin drink is absurd. They hide the drink prices and push you to order a second round... It's unfortunate that management runs this establishment like this because the food really is tasty although a bit overpriced... I will not be returning.

G
Graham Mehaffey

Asked for the bill 6 times. Asked for our sushi multiple times Asked to order multiple tikes Staff was unfriendly and didn’t care NOTHING was good about this place
