El baño de abajo y mi habitación individual estaban muy sucias, pero si como yo eres escrupuloso y siempre te llevas tus sábanas y tus toallitas de limpieza tampoco tendrás problema. - Estuve alojada en la vivienda de Avinguda hispanitat por lo que si quieres desayunar (de 8 a 10) tienes que irte a tres calles, pero es casero, surtido y suficiente. Muy recomendable 👌

Perfecta para una estancia de paso como fue mi caso. Las camas no son privadas pero tienen taquilla y enchufe y todo lo necesario y se respeta el descanso y la intimidad en todo momento entre los huéspedes. Julieta es adorable y el lugar es pintoresco y romántico.

Absolutely cute hostel with cozy atmosphere. Breakfast was free and very good (even with freshly made scrambled egg). There's a well-equipped shared kitchen and a terrace with comfortable seats. Very nice for solo-travelers as it's easy to get in touch with others (e.g. at the breakfast table). You kinda feel like part of a hostel-family here. 9,5/10 recommend it (only minus is that there are only shared-dorms)

5 ⭐️! One of the best hostels I stayed at! It has everything you need, a friendly staff, nice people and a chill atmosphere. Rooms and bathrooms are clean, the kitchen is well equipped and the little garden is a great place to read, relax or hang out. The location is perfect too, 3min from the station and close to the center, with a supermarket one street away. Bike-packer and cyclist friendly! I highly recommend :)

Super Hostel in zentraler Lage (15 min vom (Bus-)Bahnhof) und typischem süßen Ambiente. Nettes, geselliges und hilfreiches Personal. Top Frühstück. Falls noch nicht gesehen, jedes Bett hat einen großen Spind, wo easy 1-2 Handgepäckstücke reinpassen. Ich kanns nur empfehlen.

Arrivata da pochi minuti dopo 6 ore di macchina. Vengo in terrazza, mi siedo, respiro. È perfetta, oltre. Ci sono piante vecchie trascurate il giusto, è una terrazza vissuta, bellissima. Grazie, davvero tanto.

Great Hostel! We were 3 girls staying at the hostel for one night but we all said that we would like to stay longer because of how nice the people are. We felt really safe and welcomed and the breakfast was also like eating with your good friends while exchanging travelling recommendations😇

Fantastic hostel close to the station and main sights of Girona. The hostel team are super friendly and helpful. They will assist you with any requests you may have. Staying in this hostel is like staying in a family home, rather than a big soulless hostel. Plus the breakfast is great and included. Can Cocollona is a must stay place when in Girona.

This is a really cute little hostel. The staff were very friendly and I immediately got a „homely“ feeling. The decor is really nice, there are lists of restaurant and bar recommendations (including vegan and vegetarian options), and in the cozy courtyard they also supplied mosquito spray (natural citronella spray as well as the stronger mosquito repellents) for those chilling outside in the evenings.

Schönes, kleines Hostel. Wir waren in der Außenstelle ein paar Straßen weiter für zwei Nächte. Das Haus war frisch renoviert, die Betten und Badezimmer neu und alles war sehr sauber. Die anwesenden Leute waren alle sehr nett und aufgeschlossen. Einzige Minuspunkte: Das Personal konnte leider kein Englisch und es war sehr sehr warm in der Nacht, da das Gebäude nicht wirklich auskühlte.

Ho prenotato in questo ostello per godermi qualche giorno di vacanza a Girona, la posizione in cui si trova é ottima, super pulito e con un’accoglienza speciale! La host é súper disponibile e simpatica, la colazione é preparata a mano da lei ogni mattina ed è inclusa nel prezzo. Si crea una bellissima atmosfera anche con gli altri ospiti, personalmente ho avuto il piacere di trascorrere anche qualche serata con la host e gli ospiti, rendendo questa esperienza super magica! La struttura é perfetta, il giardino interno super rilassante e ogni letto é affiancato da un locker in cui riporre le proprie cose! Grazie per questa esperienza ☀️

I've been to a lot of hostels in my time, but this one is by far one of the best. Unbelievably welcoming and accommodating staff. Told them I was arriving late, "no problem." I said Ive got to leave early could I sneak into breakfast earlier, "No problem." Don't even contemplate going anywhere else in Girona, this place was amazing.

Really close to the train station. A little far from the old town, but effectively just a nice stroll. The staff were fantastic, and their kitten was adorable. Rooms exactly as described. I'd happily stay here again.

Very clean, friendly and close to everything. Better than some hotels. So clean that one can go to the bathroom barefoot. A lot of handmade signs also eliminate the commercial side of the place. And of course, the cats and the dog...

I stayed at Can Cocollona for three days during my trip to Girona, and I really enjoyed my stay there. The hostel is very close to the train and bus station, which was perfect for me because I arrived by bus. It was easy to find and very convenient. At the same time, the area is quiet and nice, so I could relax after a long day of walking around the city. The price was affordable and totally worth it. The breakfasts were tasty and quite big - there were sandwiches, croissants, eggs, cereal, milk, tea and coffee. It was a great way to start the morning before going out to explore Girona. I also liked that my room had a balcony - it was a small detail, but it made the stay even better. The Wi-Fi worked well, which was important for me. There is also a shared kitchen where you can cook your own food, which is very convenient if you don't want to eat out all the time. The best part for me was the friendly atmosphere. The staff were very kind and helpful, and the other guests were open and nice. I felt comfortable and welcome there!

Very welcoming, exceptionally clean and a very comfortable place to stay with good amenities. Its location is perfect, very close to the station and a short walk from the centre. The cleanliness of the rooms and bathrooms was really impressive and made it EVEN more comfortable to stay here! I would definitely recommend. The array of guests here is also brilliant, as during my stay there were people aged between 20-70 which made talking to people all more brilliant!!

Lovely hostel slightly outside the historical centre but easy to reach with a 10 min walk, very close to the train and bus station. Basic rooms but clean. Bathrooms very clean. Lovely staff, very nice communal room and nice breakfast, meeting other travellers felt easy and uncomplicated. Thanks!

Cozy little spot ,stayed here different occasions in August n September Regardless how busy it gets it's always kept spotless such a well maintained place , very hardworking and lovely staff. Have met some cool people of different ages too . Also it's very bike friendly as well theres safe place to lock bike in the nice little garden. complimentary breakfast is very nice too .super close to train station and supermarkets also direct bus to airport. Desde la recepción realmente te sientes en casa. La llevan 2 chicas muy amables y serviciales que están en todo momento preocupadas de tu comodidad, recomendandote que actividades hacer en los alrededores. Las habitaciones son comodas y luminosas, pero lo que más rescato es el ambiente vivido allá. Despues de estar más de 2 meses viajando por europa tuve la oportunidad de estar en hoteles 5 estrellas, RBNB, etc... pero lejos mi mejor experiencia en hospedaje fue en Can Cocollona, muchas gracias por tan linda semana.

Great location in a neighborhood super close to the bus & train station and a short walk to the city center. Good for solo traveling. Hosts are quick to answer questions or offer suggestions. No a/c in the bedrooms but with the windows/doors open & fans on, it’s fine.

The place is good but the rooms were warm in the night. The location is pretty close to the touristy spots like just above 1 km. The place was cleaned everyday but the rooms were very small for 6 beds. The place let us keep the luggage even after checkout which was good. They provide lockers as well per bed free of charge but a deposit was taken for the key and lock of 2 euro. The place has a kitchen which can be used for quick meals. The breakfast was free and good as well you can ask for any changes to it as per your requirement like Veg or anything.

Very homey atmosphere, 25 minute walk from Girona's attractions and 5 minute walk from the train station. Would be nice if there were little social events organized every night to get to know other travellers, I didn't get to socialize as much as I'm used to when I go to hostels. Also, I was told there would be another girl in the room I was in but I ended up being the only one (?). Overall, nice hostel.

Very nice place to stay. The staff was pretty friendly and the garden was very nice to sit and meet poeple from the hostel. The location is a bit less because it's far but not to far to walk so it's ok. I really enjoyed my stay and the breakfast was really good! (For a hostel unique in its kind) so 👏for the owners and staff for doing a good job!

Onze laatste overnachting plek voor twee dagen. gemoedelijk B&B. waar we ons eigen bier in de diepvries mochten leggen. tevens de rest van het bier uit de koelkast ook na de laatste etappe van de tour de Pyreneeën opgedronken. leuke locatie gezien de buurt. Ontbijt is prima. Een minpuntje. op het terrasje wel heel veel muggen. dus lek gestoken.

Alojamiento muy bien situado para los viajeros, puesto que se encuentra a 10min a pie tanto de la estación de tren como de bus. Muy buena atención y ambiente. Cuidado todo al detalle, Montse, la dueña, consigue que te sientas como en casa; además de saber todo el personal varias idiomas a la perfección. Incluye desayuno buffet la mar de completo (fruta, tostadas, mermeladas, embutido, bizcochos, cereales, infusiones, café, leche de vaca o bebida de arroz...). Tienen un par de animales pero no molestan en absoluto a no ser que les prestes atención, además de que pasan la mayoría del tiempo fuera en el jardín. El último día hizo un calor horrible, a pesar de tener en cada habitación ventiladores nos dejaron una nevera portátil con una botella para cada huésped, agua micelar en spray y toallas húmedas par refrescarse todo un detalle que en otros sitios ni se plantean.

La primera sorpresa fue que yo había reservado cama individual en habitación de sólo chicas y no existe. Con disculpas se zanjó el tema. Sorprendente! La habitación de chicas es un poco agobiante, puedes tocar la cama de enfrente. Poco espacio para 6 camas. El baño con la ducha no tiene ventana.

Si eres aventurero y no te importa compartir habitación con otras personas, éste es muy buen sitio para alojarte cerca del centro de Girona. Las habitaciones son correctas calidad - precio y la gente muy maja!

Общий номер на пятерых со всеми вытекающими - хождение туда-сюда, ночной храп. Не понравилось  полнейшее равнодушие персонала к нуждам постояльцев. При каждом касании дверной ручки она с грохотом падала на пол. Ну и что? Никто не пытался ее прикрутить. Давным давно отвалилась полка с крючками для верхней одежды, остались только следы от шурупов. Некуда вешать пальто и куртки. Ну и что? Никто не пытался прибить эту злосчасную полочку. Бросайте свою одежду на пол. В шкафу лежали полотенца, но персонал не выдавал их постояльцам. Входят ли полотенца в стоимость или нет, никто так и не сказал. В переписке с хостелом я просила не снимать с карточки плату за ночь, хотела оплатить наличными. Да, конечно, без проблем, ответил хостел. И в тот же день снял деньги с карточки. Попади я в другой номер, где есть крючки для одежды, а еще лучше, то 4-хместный женский номер вместе с друзьями, то мне, наверное, понравилось гораздо больше. Но на мои даты в женском номере не было мест, пришлось выбирать то, что осталось в наличии. По цене приемлемо - 23 евро с завтраком. Можно оставить багаж после выселения, что тоже очень хорошо. Хотела бы я вновь остановиться в этом хостеле? Надеюсь, что этого не будет.

Fui con mi pareja y la verdad es que el ambiente dentro del albergue fue bueno, más por la atención de los clientes que de Montse, la dueña/gestora. - Cuando llegamos no había nadie atendiendo a los huéspedes. Pensamos que es normal que la persona encargada tuviese que salir por cualquier razón, pero esta persona no apareció nunca (nos fuimos antes). Por tanto fue complicado resolver dudas, aunque Montse nos atendió por teléfono hasta cierta hora. Luego se limitó a responder con un mensaje preestablecido por Whatsapp. - La limpieza del lugar estaba bien. - Las literas no eran lo más cómodas, además de ser algo ruidosas. Por tanto, cuando alguien se movía despertaba al resto de la habitación. - No te avisan de que necesitas llevar un candado si quieres que tus cosas estén seguras en la taquilla. La experiencia no fue del todo mala para ser un albergue, aunque si tienes que madrugar no lo recomiendo.

Es una casa antigua que funciona como hostel privado. La atención recibida fue buena. Está limpio, pero para mi gusto demasiados trastes colgando. Fui con mi pareja y la verdad es que el ambiente dentro del albergue fue bueno, más por la atención de los clientes que de Montse, la dueña/gestora. - Cuando llegamos no había nadie atendiendo a los huéspedes. Pensamos que es normal que la persona encargada tuviese que salir por cualquier razón, pero esta persona no apareció nunca (nos fuimos antes). Por tanto fue complicado resolver dudas, aunque Montse nos atendió por teléfono hasta cierta hora. Luego se limitó a responder con un mensaje preestablecido por Whatsapp. - La limpieza del lugar estaba bien. - Las literas no eran lo más cómodas, además de ser algo ruidosas. Por tanto, cuando alguien se movía despertaba al resto de la habitación. - No te avisan de que necesitas llevar un candado si quieres que tus cosas estén seguras en la taquilla. La experiencia no fue del todo mala para ser un albergue, aunque si tienes que madrugar no lo recomiendo.

Es una casa antigua que funciona como hostel privado. La atención recibida fue buena. Está limpio, pero para mi gusto demasiados trastes colgando. A decent hostel however the rooms didn’t have proper air conditioning which was such a pain. It’s also a long walk to the main attractions in Girona however I rather enjoyed the walk to and from. Hostel is in a quiet area which was a positive.

Die Pension ist für eine Nacht passabel, günstig. Sollten alle Zimmer voll sein, wird es mit der Ruhe in der Nacht schwierig. 5 Personen in einem Zimmer von gerade mal 6qm in hoch Betten, ist nicht gut. der Platz zum frühstücken ist sehr begrenzt,ein langer Tisch zwei Bänke für maximal zehn Personen. Wenn die Bude voll ist wird eng. Für mich war der Aufenthalt im Can Cocollonia keine Freude. Das mögen junge Menschen anders sehen.

Хостел только для лета. Очень замёрзли в январе. Продувает всё. В итоге заболели. Зимой не рекомендую. В комнате ночью было где-то 13 градусов тепла. Кровати стоят в плотную в окнам ,которые не утеплены. В итоге зимой там ночевать опасно((

Muy caro para lo que ofrece. En las habitaciones no hay aire acondicionado y se oye el ruido del ventilador, sin mencionar los mosquitos que entran por la ventana

Reservamos una habitación con baño privado. Lo que no nos esperábamos y nos ha parecido de mal gusto es meternos en la casa de enfrente de unos señores sin avisar, y teniendo que salir a su comedor para ir al baño. Fuimos a pasar el fin de semana en la sea other y avisamos que íbamos con varias bicis . Nos dijeron que había habilitado un cuarto para bicis, mentira, era un trastero que usa la de la limpieza, apenas caben dos bicis bien, y las han usado para apoyar sus cositas, o para apilar las bicis (de elevado coste) unas sobre las otras de muy mala manera. Ha sido todo de muy mal gusto. (Por suerte el trato con los señores de la casa ha sido mil veces mejor que con este sitio)

OVERBOOKING SCAM: I reserved a private room for 6 nights and when I arrived, the owner told me that the room was not available, but she had another private room slightly cheaper and tried to make it sound good. She left me with no other choice at this moment so I took it. But when we walked to the room it was not actually in the hostel, but in her own private house. You enter it and the first thing you see is a lumber room with stuff everywhere. The bathroom smells like mold. The next day I complained about the room, as it was not the one I had reserved and that it had various quality issues like mold and that it was not even part of the hostel. This room is not listed on the website or hostelworld and is therefore illegal to rent. Her reaction to my complaint was very aggressive, I asked for a refund of €10 as a form to say sorry but she said no and if I didn't like it I can leave. Still then she changed me to the private room that I had reserved. The last day I requested a refund for the first night of the room I did not reserve and did not want to stay in. I told her that otherwise I would fill out the claim sheet. In WhatsApp she wrote to me that they didn't have the claim form as today the hostels don't need it anymore because you can also fill it out online, which is a lie. Then she tries to gaslight me into not to complaining to the authorities because she was hosting people with social problems and I shouldn't tell them about it, suggesting I was a bad person if I did. In my week staying there I never saw people with social problems staying there and I asked someone who stayed there even longer than me and he also said that was not true. So it is probably another lie trying to prevent me from reporting her. This woman exercises this method of overbooking and hosting her private room illegally regularly to maximize her profits, because if you read the reviews on google you will see that I am not the first person this happened to, and when you complain about it she treats you as if you were the bad person and it needs to stop.

La cuestión es que se suponía que debía darme instrucciones de como entrar a la casa, pero hasta que no le hablé para pedirle que me dijera como entrar no me envió nada. Yo llegaría sobre las 12 de la madrugada por lo tanto no habría nadie. Pagué el alojamiento con desayuno incluido, le comenté que me debía ir a las 5 de la mañana esa misma noche y la Chica me dijo que no había problema que me dejaría algo preparado. La cuestión, no había nada preparado, muy mala organización.

Es una casa albergue mas que un hotel, ... habitaciones con aseo compartido, holor a humedad

Muy mala organización, en cuanto a la reserva no se saben entender la necesidad de la estancia, no saben explicarse bien. Muy mala comunicación
