I absolutely fell in love with this roti spot during my stay in Queens Village. Everything about it hit the mark — the flavor, the freshness, and that unmistakable feeling of food made with pride. The roti was hot, soft, and fluffy, generously filled, deeply seasoned, and incredibly satisfying. These are big, hearty roti's with bold flavor and perfectly balanced spices. I would confidently say "D Roti Hut" serves some of the best roti in the Tri-State area. This is the kind of roti you’d want served at weddings or special celebratory occasions — memorable, comforting, and made to impress. The staff are professional, friendly, and accommodating, with strong knowledge of the menu and genuine care for the food they serve. That hospitality makes the experience even better. D Roti Hut is the kind of place that turns a simple meal into a memory. I found myself thinking about it long after I left the area, which says everything. If you’re anywhere nearby, do yourself a favor and stop in. This place is special. Standout dishes: Stew Chicken & Channa (Chickpeas) topped with pepper and tamarind sauce, with dhalpuri roti on the side Doubles — perfectly cooked bara (not too yellow, not too pale) with great elasticity and richly flavored chickpeas, plus excellent house sauces (pepper, tamarind, cucumber chutney, shadow beni) Aloo Pies (potato), especially with added channa or curry shrimp, finished with pepper and tamarind sauce Curry Goat, Bake & Salt-fish, House-made Mango Chow, and house beverages — the sea moss drink is outstanding (not too thick, not too sweet) Shout out to Vee & staff for running such a well-operated & maintained restaurant.

D Roti Hut in Queens is one of those rare spots that wins you over from the moment you step inside. The food is consistently flavorful, fresh, and filled with the kind of seasoning that makes you pause after the first bite. The rotis are soft and tender, the curry is rich without being heavy, and everything tastes like someone took real pride in preparing it. Beyond the food, what makes this place truly special is the women who run it. Thank you ladies Vee, Natasha, Angie, and Dee for making every visit feel like home. You never rush anyone, you remember faces, and you serve each plate with warmth and genuine hospitality. In a city as fast as New York, that type of care stands out. If you’re looking for quality Caribbean food and a welcoming atmosphere, D Roti Hut deserves a spot at the top of your list.

a little spot on Jamaica Avenue and 208th Street the friendly and the food is fresh the Roti is excellent. Can you believe they have a Miss Pac-Man machine. Well anyway it's not too expensive here.

D Roti Hut has the best Doubles, especially with the tambrin sauce. The food was a 10/10 and I will definitely go back to eat there. Shout out to Kesean the best who served us , he was really calm and patient being that’s we were indecisive. He has really good customer service and I appreciated that.

This is my second time here, this will be my new go to restaurant for Trini food. The food was amazing and the workers were lovely. Especially Kesean, he was cashing me out and he was extremely funny and enthusiastic about his job. Shada was extremely nice as well and gave me good portions. Can’t wait to come back.

The servers are genuine and nice and are open to answering any questions that you may have. The restaurant is clean with a nice “home” vibe to it as if they are welcoming you into their home. My recommendation is to get the pepper pot with roti on the side. The goat is tender and the roti picks up the sweet and spicy flavors well. 10/10 would come here again!!!

OMG this was my first time here thanks to my co-worker. The food was amazing. I ordered 3 doubles, one regular, one with smoked hearing and the other with stew chicken. Insane flavors and decent prices at this place. Blessings to Ms. V also. She packed those doubles with love. Don't just drive by it anymore without stopping in. LOLOLOL
