The food is great, very tasteful. The soup is very good. The chicken and rice is amazing. But the best two things there are the hummus with bread and the salad!!!!!!! Never thought I'd ever say I love salad but there's is delicious

Delicious Yemeni food, likely the best in Queens, whether sit down, take-out, or from their street grill, coupled with the friendly service will keep me and my family coming back. Take the poor reviews of this business and set them aside as merely bad judgment on the reviewer's. This is not a fast food restaurant! Expect to wait a little, but you will be satisfied. Their Steinway Halal cart outside offers half chicken and kabobs over rice. Delicious!

This place is amazing! The food is top notch and it’s an incredible value. The service is low-key but impeccable! Everyone here was super friendly. Will always come back here when I’m in the neighborhood. HIGHLY recommend!!

Good food .not spicy .mild .only problem is the rice is not well cooked ..or the way Indian Pakistanies and Bangladesh consumers like .also it's not Basmati rice ,the favorite of above mentioned 3 countries .rest of the bar b q is fine and is cooked on coal .few years ago when the guy started this bussiness on a food cart there was no place to sit and eat with time the business get so popular that owner manage to rent a nice restaurant now nice decorated sitting arrangement is available next to food cart .A full big mud pot with rice & lamb ,8 pieces of chicken Tikka on rice plate ,2 soups ( not recommended even it's free as it's very salty makes u thirsty all day long and raising blood pressure) 2 green salads bowls ,a kabab sandwich .2 small water bottles ,one apple soda .All for $45 ..which is quite expensive when compare to food available in South Asian restaurants in Jackson Heights .almost the same prices next block rival Aria Kabab offers ( South Asian will find this Afghani restaurant perfect to satisfy their tounge desires ) ..

This is a Yemeni restuarant but owned by Algerian and the workers are from Egypt & Algeria that's why the food is not 100% to Yemeni standard that's what few of my Yemeni friends told me but for a Pakistani woman like me, I like their food specially the rice because its flavorful.

Also, after the long wait, the waiter did not bring our entire order because he forget what we ordered. The reminder of the order arrived at the time we are leaving the restaurant to catch a movie in a nearby theater and we ended up taking the food home. Prices are moderate, dinner for two people was less than fifty dollar.

Food was poorly cooked, little or no seasoning. Beard was hard and cold. Only reason why I gave them 2 stars is because the rice was good. That's pretty much it, plus the cashier tried to charge me for a drink that I brought with me.

This is the worst Experience I had in my life I order on the phone mix a grill he told me $14 and when I came to pick up the food he charge me 16,50 I was in rush that’s why I didn’t say anything. And I called to make a complaint to talk to the manager but guy in the counter is that He said I’m the manager and hung up the phone on my face This is very bad never go back again

You’ll find more better options than this. Kababs and grill was fresh but it wasn’t that tasty. Also, kababs were hard to chew. Their service was fast but serving quality was not good. They were serving food to everyone in takeaway boxes, which was really weird. Overall, I won’t recommend this.

Price says 14 for the platter on their board he tells me 16 when few days ago I got the same thing. The other guys that used to work here were good guys now they have some b u m s, that need a shower more than a job. Will never go again. If you don’t speak their language do not go.

I swear to god it is the worst restaurant i have ever eaten at in NYC.. Food is so disgusting, creepy, and nasty . I threw up all the dinner i had last night . The staff are , moreover, not proffesional . The meat was kind of raw. If you think about how to get your pocket empty for unhealthy food, head over to this restaurant😰

Today 09/11, I called this restaurant by phone and I asked the lady who answered: do you have Jordanian Mansaf? She answered yes. I drove for 45 minutes and when I got there, she told me we are so sorry we don't have Mansaf today! That's fine .. I ordered Hanith. When I wanted to pay by credit card, they charged me $3 extra. Although I ate there few weeks ago and paid by Credit card and didn't charge me any extra money. So bottom line, this restaurant has worse waitress, service, and they don't know how to make customs. For sure I wouldn't visit this place again. And I don't recommend it to anyone.

He took his time to charge me. Charge was right until few hours my credit card is continuously being charged from different store and websites. Over $700 of transactions was made and I called my bank to report this. I am 100 % sure that the person took my card to charge me took a photo of it and he knows the zipcode started making all these transactions. Why i am sure, because i dont use this card this much and when i do i use contactless payments. This is the first time the card was out of my sight. Its hard to believe that people would do such thing. I am also sure he has done this to many other people. There was an elderly women right before me at that time and he also took her card to charge, maybe she wont check and might end up paying hundreds of dollars for him. Please beware of this person and dont let them charge you if you are not in front of the machine.
