Nos atendió Manuel, y junto con la gerente Raquel y su encargado nos hicieron pasar 2 de nuestras mejores noches de nuestra estancia en el hotel. Atentos, muy agradables, siempre con una sonrisa en la cara y aún nos queda una reserva para otra noche. Si no disponen de reserva online recomiendo preguntar en el propio restaurante. La cena romántica en la playa ❤️ muy recomendada, si quieres tener un momento inolvidable con tu pareja que no se te escape 😉 El restaurante es Buffet, pero cena romántica te la sirven en la playa con platos elaborados y un buen vino. 😁👍👌

Espectacular el restaurante. Si quieres probar realmente platos deliciosos tradicionales (no lo típico que nos venden en cualquier cadena, os recomiendo ir sin dudarlo. Tienen un bar de aperitivos muy variado, junto con el plato fuerte(este lo sirven a la mesa), y otra buena variedad de postres. Amabilidad y simpatía por parte del personal que te hacen sentir cómodo en todo momento. Visitad lo que no os defraudará.

Una cena romántica espectacular, si vienes de luna de miel o te apetece una cena a la orilla de la playa, es un momento único. El restaurante Tequila es acogedor, tiene una comida mexicana buenísima, la mejor que hemos probado en nuestra estancia. Ceviche riquísimo, carne de res a la plancha espectacular, pulpo ... Tanto la gerente Raquel, el encargado y el camarero Manuel nos han hecho sentir especiales, no ha faltado un detalle. Recomendado 100%, buena comida y trato inmejorable

Un restaurante que usa el concepto de “Mercado” o Buffet como parte de su experiencia para la comida mexicana, uno elige de los diferentes puestos lo que quiere cenar y llevarlo a su mesa. Un excelente lugar con un gran toque Mexicano para pasarla bien con la familia y los amigos, hay sombreros temáticos que pueden usar para tomarse fotos graciosas y agradable, adicional y cómo en todo el complejo te tratan y te tienen bien atendido, Te recomiendo ampliamente la sección de tacos ( de cabeza, mis favoritos) pero sin lugar a dudas te invito que guardes espacio para el postre, que es de lo mejor que vas a encontrar acá, la jericaya y la trenza de ate con queso, chulada 🤌🤌🤌

El Chef Luis nos demostró su gran talento haciéndonos unos tacos y dándonos salsa Macha de la mejor calidad, muy amable y atento.

Buen restaurante de comida típica mexicana, dentro del Hotel Grand Bahía Príncipe Tulum en la Riviera Maya. Muy buena la atención y los platos estuvieron exquisitos. Pedí una Sopa de Piedra, que es una sopa de pescado y mariscos, servido en un plato hondo de piedra, estuvo delicioso. El mozo, muy amable nos sirvió Café Flameado. Lo recomiendo.

The Mexican restaurant was a lot of fun—we had a blast that night! Right at the entrance, there's a giant sombrero you can take pictures with, which sets a festive tone. It's not an à la carte restaurant but rather a buffet. They serve one appetizer at the table to start, and then you help yourself to the rest. That said, the taco and quesadilla bars were truly exceptional—fresh, flavorful, and a highlight of the meal. The desserts were also very good. The ambiance was lively and authentically Mexican, making for a really enjoyable evening overall.

Our favorite restaurant in the resort. The staff is very very hard working and humble and quite attentive. Make sure you tip the cooking staff as well if you can. They do a tremendous job with the tacos especially since they are made fresh. Our server was kind enough to bring us Suero, which seems to be the Mexican hungover drink. The atmosphere, the food and the location are great. You can go for a nice walk on the beach to help you digest after.

The best restaurant at Bahia Principe hands down! Was skeptical when I went in because it was a buffet but boy did it deliver. Their steaks were great (i ate 10), grilled onion/habanero/ tomato pestle and mortar salsa thing was insane, pickled red onions nice and refreshing and their mole sauce was also great! The staff were great, fun and outgoing! The flavoured tequila were quite sweet but their happy hour shots were not too sweet and great. Also the mojito was on point 🙏🏼 If I ever come back I’ll be 100% booking this restaurant again 😁

Favourite Restaurant at BP. Service was exception with a friendly waiter who shot tequila with the table. The buffet style was just what we needed as a group of 10. The offerings were fresh and delicious. The Taco station was authentic and amazing. The churro station was over the top delicious with fresh add-ons. I ran out of time or we would have been back for a second time.

Impressive buffet especially for starters and snacks. So much fresh seafood. The main meals sections were great and the soups and stews were really interesting to try. The desserts were good but not replenished very frequently so we didn’t manage to get the dessert we waited for. Got to try some others and found unexpected new favourites. The margaritas were excellent and the tequila trolley good fun. Our waiter Jonathan kept us laughing throughout the evening!

Visited Tequila at the Tulum resort on Jan 12, 2022. I was definitely looking for Mexican food this trip and found it here tonight. Service 5/5: I arrived half an hour earlier than my reservation time but they seated me anyway. The waiters were friendly, super fun and attentive. They made my solo trip a very enjoyable night. Food 5/5: The tacos were delicious, ceviche, mole, taco El Pastor was spot on. The pork was delicious. Beef was a touch salty for my taste but with the right sauce also delicious. The food was semi buffet style but they had servers/cooks handling majority of the food for you. Dessert was delicious. This place definitely hit the spot. Drinks: I had one tequila shot then asked for one more but they bought two more instead hahaha so why not! Can’t go to Tequila without enjoying some tequila. I highly recommend this place. You will have a great time even if you’re travelling alone!

La comida muy sabrosa. . . Pero srta Bekai. . . No hizo mucho esfuerzo en conseguir un trenecito. . . . Ya que uso baston. . . Y. . Posteriormente nos dijo que para llegar a la recepcion lobby hotel TULUM seria 30 min caminando y subir muchas escaleras . . A la srta Bekai no merece estar en ese restaurant TEQUILA. . su actitud hace que lo bueno y bonito de restaurant caiga MUCHO

Hermoso ambiente, muy amables, el horario que nos dio el hotel para ir era tarde y no había casi nada para servirse. Deberían modificar eso.

Una muy buena opción si buscas un restaurante tipo buffett, siento que le faltó un poco de sazón pero entendiendo que tmb van personas de otros países es entendible que no puedan sazonar la comida como normalmente la comemos ya que pudiera sentarles mal. Bueno de entre todos los restaurantes que pudimos probar en nuestra estancia en el Bahia Principe fué el que menos nos gustó. Primero porqué te hacen vestir con camisa y pantalón de arreglar y es un sitio al ladito de la playa que con el calor que hacía la verdad es que se estaría más a gusto en pantalón cortito y camiseta. Pero bueno vamos a ver la comida, pués si tan guapo tienes que ir va a ser un restaurante de lujo como todos los otros. Pués sorpresa. El 1r plato es un bufet y los postres también. Por lo tanto la atención pica. Para bufet ya teníamos el del hotel donde no hubiésemos pasado ni la mitad de calor ni nos hubiéramos tenido que arreglar tanto. Los camareros aparte de traernos el 2o plato pica cosa más nos dijeron. No sé muy raro y muy diferente de todos. Señores no concuerda el espacio y tipo de restaurante con la ropa pedida.

Situado dentro del complejo Bahía Príncipe Tulum, realmente es un buffet de comida mexicana. No hay mucha diferencia con la comida que ofrecen en el buffet del hotel.

Enjoyed our meal here a few times while staying at Coba hotel. I've rated the noise level as moderate because it depends what's happening when you visit - one time we visited it was nice and there was generic restaurant noise and another time there were 2 wedding parties in and they were doing speeches, shouting, singing etc so it depends on what's happening on the day of your reservation

No es un restaurante temático a la carta. Es un buffet de no muy alta calidad dónde existen algunos platos de la carta oficial y otros no. Decepcionante.

De los restó que menos nos gustó. Queríamos a la carta como el tortuga o el Español. La comida no era la gran cosa.. esperábamos un poco más quizá por comparar con los otros dos algo sentimos que faltó.

De los restaurantes que probé es el que menos me gustó... No me esperaba que fuese buffet, ya de día no comes en familia en el buffet se levanta uno luego el otro etc... A la noche a la carta quería estar todos sentados. La comida muy igual al rincón mexicano del buffet de cada día. Además la noche que yo estuve muchísima calor dentro.

Lo más lindo es la decoración del lugar, la comida no pareció mala, tampoco nos fascinó. Y la experiencia fue muy incómoda: reservamos en su agenda de forma online a través del hotel a las 21.30. Al llegar nos indicaron que cerraban a las 22.00. Nos ubicaron en una mesa y nadie nos explicaba que era sistema bufet, tampoco nos dieron carta de bebidas. Nos aguantaron hasta 22.34. Comimos corriendo. No fue una buena experiencia.

This restaurant is basically a buffet with some decent mole, but most of the dishes were overcooked from sitting out under heat lamps for too long. However, the Tamarind margaritas are great, as was the flaming Mayan coffee.

Allow me to recount my evening, which perfectly illustrates how a promising premise can quickly devolve into an exercise in patience... and eye-rolling. ​🛎️ The Grand Entrance (Or Lack Thereof) ​We booked our 8:30 PM slot—because who doesn't love the illusion of organization?—only to arrive and be immediately detained by the reception area for several awkward minutes. It was a thrilling, unexplained wait, perhaps designed to build suspense. The live sax player was a lovely touch, but bless his soul, he practically bolted within five minutes of us sitting down, possibly thanks to the atmosphere created by the waiting staff. ​🫠 Service with a Scowl ​I have encountered many types of service, but this was a unique education in apathy. We were welcomed by what I can only describe as The Grinch's long-lost cousin, a waiter whose default expression suggested he was personally offended by our presence. His refusal to offer even a hint of a smile was consistent and frankly, impressive. ​Getting our initial drink order taken required what felt like a minor military operation, eventually involving a different waiter who hadn't yet been fully drained of his soul. ​🎭 The Dinner Theater of Errors ​The confusion only escalated from there: ​Selective Listening: We clearly ordered one starter. Naturally, two appeared. I suppose this is their way of saying, "We hear you, but we don't care." ​The Great Buffet Bait-and-Switch: Our waiter explained the meal, and imagine our shock when we discovered the main event in this supposed à la carte establishment was a glorified buffet. Nothing screams high-end dining quite like queuing for chicken! ​The Stare-Down: After we finished our appetizer—the one we actually ordered—I checked if we should hit the trough. Our waiter nodded in acknowledgement. My partner returned from the buffet to find the dirty starter plates still on the table. She was forced to perform the cleaning staff's job by stacking them herself. Perhaps the waiter thought they were decorative? ​The Steak Conspiracy: I approached the buffet hoping for a simple piece of grilled steak. I was informed they were finished. Finished! At 8:30 PM, when they are still technically taking bookings! In a resort of this size, running out of steak is less a mistake and more a culinary insult. It suggests they were more interested in shutting down than serving the guests they gladly booked. ​🎯 Conclusion: The Price of Ignoring Customers ​Attempting to procure a second round of drinks was a full-blown lottery. Our waiter was a master of evasion, perfecting the art of selective deafness and achieving a new personal best in avoiding eye contact. ​The sheer apathy was astounding. The only item we left behind that remotely resembled a 'tip' was a suggestion: Learn to smile, and for the love of all that is holy, actually pretend to care about the customers who are funding your employment.

Odd experience. Book as part of our hotal stay experience with family. Reached on time of booked but was asked to wait. Once seated drinks and starter orders taken. Drinks and starters arrived but drinks tasted watered down and food was underwhelming. Went to the buffet style setup to select mains. One of the restaurants of Bahia Grand Principe Tulum. This is a buffet style restaurant with the exception of getting a shared appetizer and picking a starter off the menu. The food left a lot to be desired, it was generally dry and devoid of flavor. The drinks were watered down and had no real flavor.

Well it started with coming to the door. Not sure what I did as I was standing at the kiosk to talk to the Lady and another family came up behind me and she just went directly to them, I was confused by this and then she snapped at me and said we need all 5 personas aqui. I was like what?? I haven't spoke to you yet for you to even know me. Then while seated with the 5 of us we were expected to share a 2 person appetizer plate with all 5 of us. The table across had the same plate for 2 people. Then we ordered a mango Caipirinha and the waitress brought a regular Caipirinha which was not a problem, we just said oh this was a Mango one and she said sorry and brought back the same drink with a splash of Mango. This was not correct it was not a good drink. I ended up going to the bar and ordering another which was made correctly. Then came time to head up for some Taco's. Well the poor lady making the orders was getting frustrated with the beef she had to deal with. THIS WAS NOT AN ISSUE FOR ME I felt bad for her as the product was not ready to be served. Meaning it wasn't properly cook to the fall off the bone tender as it should be. Now back to the table service our plates never got cleared we actually stacked up 7 plates and had to get another server to take away the plates. So as for the food it was typical Bahia Principe cold chicken in the heating dishes. Hmmm not sure why they are not hot. We just resorted to having the grilled chicken and steaks. Overall it was unexpectedly very poor service which puts a sour taste in your mouth about a place. Hope everyone has a better experience than we had.
