An excellent restaurant with carefully designed decor. A patio with a movable roof allows you to dine in a very pleasant atmosphere, with a dining room and very quiet spaces. The tableware is very original, with plates for personalized presentations. The menu is varied, with dishes selected from quality products. It's worth trying some of the off-menu recommendations they offer. The service was excellent, with recommendations for dishes and wines, as the wine list is quite extensive with numerous options. The serving time between courses was more than adequate, and the presentation of each dish was very careful, down to the last detail. You can clearly see that the kitchen knows exactly how each dish should be presented. In short, a restaurant to go to, a must-visit when you pass through the town, and you'll definitely want to return.

I visited A Fuego Lento in Hervás with my two children, and the experience was excellent. We shared a selection of cheeses from Extremadura, which we loved: a great variety, authentic flavor, and a beautiful presentation. For our main course, we had grilled sirloin steak, which was cooked to perfection—very tender and flavorful. To finish, the cheesecake and apple tarts were the perfect ending: homemade, delicious, and with a spectacular texture. The restaurant has a welcoming atmosphere, and the staff is friendly and attentive. It's definitely a place worth returning to. Highly recommended if you're in the area!

At A Fuego Lento, you'll find perfectly prepared traditional dishes alongside a modern and contemporary cuisine. You can't go wrong with the signature steak and the wood-fired roasts, but don't hesitate to ask for the daily specials—there are some truly excellent options. And if you finish with the chocolate fondant... it's one of the best desserts we've had in ages. Amazing! All of this is accompanied by impeccable service and wonderful personal attention. One of the best (if not the best) restaurants in Hervás. You'll leave wanting to return.

Absolutely great meats: We tried "Secreto de ibérico a baja temperatura y a la parrilla con salsa de naranja y manzana caramelizada" - expect a lot of fat, tender and soft pork, awesome sauce; "Paletilla de cordero lechal asada al horno" - very tasty and great looking, less fatty than pork; "Solomillo de ternera extremeña a la parrilla" - that was probably the best meat of them all, very well done, tender and with just enough salt to make the point. Deserts were very good as well, compared to meats it was not extra special. Great service, friendly and helpful. Thank you!

I went to eat there with my family, and in my case, the meat was very tender and juicy. However, although the food was generally good, I thought the prices were a bit high. Despite that, it's a good restaurant to go to for a meal.

Restaurante agradable con comida cuidada. No es barata, pero sí está todo rico. Las raciones son pequeñas para su precio. Sorprende que no quieran utilizar el salón en pleno invierno, que estaba vacío, sino que sea la terraza cubierta, atemperada con setas de gas, lo único que te permitan reservar. Una de las razones de las tres estrellas es por la prisa con la que te atienden. Parece que estén deseando que termines y dejes paso a otros comensales. También nos pareció que el arroz del segundo, chipirones a la plancha con gambones y arroz negro al horno con ali oli de lima, estaba un poco duro. Además, hay un punto « nazi » en el mensaje con el que abre la carta, aunque este comensal pueda estar de acuerdo en el deseo de tranquilidad y de no ver « niños correteando » o ni mucho menos gritando. Verlo por escrito, junto con el mensaje en los entrantes que prohíbe pedirlos como plato principal, resulta mandón y opresivo.
