Muy buen servicio, y alimentos, la pizza de flores del desierto es exquisita y sin igual

Es una mezcla interesante en el que se fusionan dos culturas: la italiana 🇮🇹 y la mexicana 🇲🇽. Es interesante ver como se experimenta con la comida regional, nacional e internacional. El restaurante ofrece variedad y calidad gastronómica. Sus dueños son personas muy especiales e interesantes que conocen muy a fondo todo lo que hay alrededor de ellos así que sin lugar a dudas es un espacio para disfrutar de un buen platillo y una muy buena experiencia.

Comida artesanal 100 % italiana ya que el propietario es italiano. Quizá los insumos son nacionales pero de muy buen sabor ; ) La pizza individual de cabuche una delicia así como las berenjenas gratinadas que sirven en una cazuelita. La pasta es fresca hecha en casa y muy rica. El pan es rústico italiano con semillas, buenísimo. Además hay tortas estilo italiano y otras estilo MX. Sirvieron en otra mesa una milanesa que se veía muy bien. Compramos mermelada, miel y cabuche en conserva. Todo artesanal. Nos atendieron de maravilla. Nos compartieron valiosa información e historia de Real de Catorce así como de las películas filmadas. Los directores de varias pelis fueron atendidos ahí ; ) Definitivamente regresaré para despedirme de Real de Catorce con broche de oro.

Un sitio que quedará siempre en mi memoria , entramos por casualidad , cenamos muy bien , la cocina es una mezcla de italiana y mexicana pero lo más bonito de todo fue que tras cenar nos quedamos los ultimos y los dueños cerraron y estuvimos dentro conversando con ellos por un largo tiempo . Le regale el libro de Las Venas Abiertas en America Latina a la dueña , gente encantadora , no los olvidamos , si algún día leen esto les enviamos un gran abrazo. Nos volveremos a encontrar, seguro

Hermoso lugar y hermosas personas, la comida está riquísima, todo todo delicioso

Un pequeño restaurante en la plaza principal de Real de Catorce con decoración rústica que, además de preparar alimentos de buena calidad, venden miel, caboches, salsas y demás conservas. Sus precios son accesibles, tanto para ir sólo o en pequeños grupos de amigos. Les recomiendo una entrada de cabuches sobre jitomates y aceite de olivo. Los cabuches son las flores de las biznagas, los preparan en aceite de olivo y en escabeche, su sabor es único, pero para darles una idea, se parece al corazón de la alcachofa. Ah y por si fuera poco, permiten que tu perro pueda ingresar al restaurante, lo cual, me parece fantástico.

Riquisima comida tipo italiana; pastas, pizzas, tortas y demas. Atención pronta lugar pequeño pero con buen sazon, justo frente a la plaza. Punto extra aceptan mascotas!! Recomendadoo!

I’ve been to plenty of Italian restaurants and none have surprised me as pleasantly as this one. The food is excellent, the owner is super friendly and everything is made from scratch and it’s all delicious. there’s nothing you will try that will leave you disappointed. 10/10

The food is delicious; the pizza and pasta are very tasty, especially when paired with a nice wine. The sauces are spicy but very flavorful. The owner's service is excellent—very kind and helpful. She told us a bit about the history of the place. I would definitely return when I visit Real de Catorce. It's also a pet-friendly place ❤️

As every year, on August 16th, during our visit to Real de 14, we arrived at our favorite place, "El Cactus." Thanks to Valerio and Beatriz for their excellent dishes and unbeatable service, as well as a very pleasant time together, culminating in a surprising and delicious house digestif made of green walnuts and liquor. My family and I enjoyed a pleasant conversation and delightful gathering.

There were five of us, and none of us had ever tasted a better pizza than the ones here. The pizza dough feels different from regular pizzerias, and you can tell it's handmade. The service was excellent, and they brought us exactly what we ordered. I think if you go to Real de Catorce, you absolutely have to go to Cactus because you'll be pleasantly surprised and will definitely want to come back.

Excellent food! The desert flower pizza, the eggplant with cheese and tomato, and the garlic bread with parmesan were all delicious, as were the pineapple and tamarind micheladas. Excellent service from the owners, Elizabeth and Valerio.

A little gem of a place in the magical town of Real de Catorce. 🏜️ If you're looking for pizza and pasta with true Italian flavor and texture 🇮🇹 🫶🏼 you'll find it here! Chef Valerio is Italian and his wife Elizabeth is Mexican; they are the owners and in charge of creating this delicious meal. The place is small but cozy. We ordered rosemary potatoes as a starter, then an individual Desert Flowers pizza 🏜️, a pepperoni and cheese pizza, and a Boscaiola pasta (with mushrooms), which has a very rich flavor, not cloying at all, and the pasta is literally made from scratch by them. One of the best I've ever tried, we loved it❣️ For drinks, we ordered guava and strawberry lemonade, super delicious! The price is reasonable, I definitely recommend them! 💯 They're also pet-friendly and help stray dogs! 🫶🏼 And they also offer bags of kibble for a small fee so they can continue feeding them and continue supporting the cause. 🐶 🐕 🐾

A true gem! Our children and we love this place; we thoroughly enjoyed the food, the fellowship, and the conversation. The food is exquisite! A true delight to enjoy at leisure. EXCELLENT PLACE. Delicious food. The service was very warm and efficient. 100% PET FRIENDLY 🥰, which I loved, since you can bring your pet in. It's also a place that helps street dogs. They sell delicious honey!

El Cactus is located right across from the main square in Real de Catorce. With an Italian menu, it incorporates local products into its pizzas and appetizers. The pasta, dough, and sauces are all made on-site, making it a cozy spot. I recommend the pizza (the desert flower one is worth trying) and the pasta (I opted for the Boscaiola, which was spectacular), as well as the teas, which can be sweetened with local honey. The prices are affordable and the service is very attentive. The good thing is that they accept credit cards; the bad thing is that they don't charge bills.

What a delightful and cozy place! The chipotle and fig sauce is amazing. Very natural and perfectly seasoned. I loved it, and the service was excellent. Highly recommended. The apple tart is naturally sweetened, so if you don't have a sweet tooth, it's perfect for your taste buds.

Excelente pizza, muy buena masa y buen precio. La ensalada también estaba muy buena. La lasagna no nos acabo de convencer pero estaba bien.

If there's one thing I love, it's eating, especially when the cuisine is authentic and the menus are concise... This is a small, rustic restaurant bursting with flavor, everything is well-prepared, and the service is unbeatable. We ordered the soup of the day, pizza, and lasagna...all excellent! If you go to Real de Catorce, you have to stop by and meet Valerio and Elizabeth, the owners. They're very friendly and chatty, and we had a great time...I've included some photos. I bought some cabuches (cactus buds) to make pasta at home with them and capers, and Elizabeth gave me some more in chipotle sauce—delicious! Will I be back? Absolutely!...see you next time!

Nice place across from the plaza, the atmosphere is very pleasant, it's pet-friendly, the food is good but it's not cheap, and the service is a bit slow. Overall, it's a good place to go for a coffee and a snack of molletes. I recommend it.

A good restaurant in the center of Real de 14. 100% Italian and with great flavor. The prices are a bit high, but the portions are reasonable. The staff is very friendly and attentive. They accept card and cash payments. It's an authentic Italian experience in the beautiful town of Real. The dishes are flavorful, but especially the sauces.

Their slogan is "Rustic Italian Cuisine," but they don't cook in a wood-fired oven. The pizza dough doesn't taste like it's been fermented in a rustic way; there aren't any bubbles. The tomato sauce on the pizzas is tasteless, as is the cheese. I ordered a Hawaiian pizza, and the pineapple was inedible—it was disappointing. I ordered a pizza with desert flowers, and it tasted okay, nothing spectacular, but the flavors weren't familiar since it had cabuches (agave hearts), maguey flowers, and aloe vera flowers, so I'd give it a 7. The flavors barely blended together. I also ordered pasta carbonara, and the sauce was too watery and tasteless. I'd give that pasta a 5. The staff is friendly, and the place is small, but I think they're overrated. It's not rustic at all, and frankly, the pizzas aren't good.

Pasamos sabado y domingo y no estaba abierto. Estara aun funcionando?

Un servicio pésimo, desde que uno lee la carta sabe que algo anda mal: “no se hacen modificaciones”, “no esto, no lo otro” y luego llega la mesera con una actitud malísima. Como el lugar es pequeño y tienen mesas grandes, mi novio y yo nos sentamos en una mesa grande con otro señor que iba solo, llegó otra pareja y nos preguntó si se podían sentar, obviamente dijimos que sí pero los chicos decidieron irse porque la parte de adentro estaba muy encerrada. Acto seguido llega la mesera y nos dice que la mesa era para 10 personas, que deberíamos sentarnos en la parte de adentro (básicamente insinuando que por nuestra culpa se fue la pareja). Ni nos había tomado la orden y ya nos había hasta regañado. Decidimos salir en ese momento y no regresar nunca más.
