The service was incredible. Very friendly, and very attentive. Pad Thai was yummy and went well with the Raspberry Martini. The ambiance is nice. Benjarong Thai is a great spot to enjoy a Saturday night dinner. 🙌
The food is delicious and the drinks are also amazing, especially the Thai Tea. The workers do a great job at cooking and helping the customers. I ordered Crab Ragoon, Lumpia, Noodles, Fried Rice, Orange Chicken,Vegetable Tempura, and Thai Tea. I loved the food. The atmosphere is very nice every worker is friendly and they treat you as you were family. Get there right when they open if you don't want to wait long for your food. Otherwise, this is the best Thai Restaurant around.
I went down to Benjarong Thai Cuisine this evening for dinner. I was very impressed with the attention to detail the staff has with their customer service and customer experience here. We were greeted with a smile, never had to flag a wait staff down bc they were on point with the service. The manager, Tan, she was such a great part of our experience as well. Very personable, professional, kind, and friendly. We sat outside in the patio area, and the atmosphere was dimmed lights and soft music in the background. I ordered the orange chicken and was very impressed. I definitely recommend the patio seating if you want to keep it more casual. Either way, you will enjoy this place. I will definitely be back to enjoy another meal here. Thank you, Tan and staff! You guys are great!
We ordered pad Thai and beef larb and they were fresh and full of flavor. The waiters too excellent care of us, and all the staff greeted us and checked on us constantly. The owner visited with us and was especially hospitable and lovely. She brought rice for our daughter, and ice cream for dessert, AND even shared her special personal holiday cookies with us before we left. We have been there a few times before, and have NEVER been disappointed. Always impressed, but tonight was the best. Thank you for a great family experience 💗
Great food. Not the cheapest place, but its 100% worth it and the portions are big. Owner is extremely friendly.
My family and I ate dinner for the first time and we enjoyed our dinner. I called ahead to inquire about seating and they were very accommodating to my family. The staff (Tan, Brian and Tiffany) were very friendly and attentive. The food was very delicious. The vibe made you feel as if you were eating a home cooked meal in the comfort of your home. We will definitely visit again when we are back in town.
Amazing atmosphere and the workers are super nice. Wait time was extremely reasonable and the food was some of the best thai food i’ve ever had. Definitely recommend!
Benjarong is THE BEST Thai food in Redlands, and I’ve tried about all of them. They have quick service and delicious food. Me and my husband love the atmosphere there, it’s surrounded by tons of trees and reminds us of Hawaii. They have THE BEST spring rolls ever. We always order the chicken yellow curry and chicken pad see ew. 10/10! I love that they have live music on Friday & Saturday evenings. We love this place!
We have become regulars at Benjarong, and come every Friday. The food is consistently great! The pad thai is a staple, and we go between the orange chicken or beef & broccoli for our plates. I’ve also had their spring rolls, thai tea, drunken noodles, cashew chicken, and sweet & sour. When I say I have not had one dish I don’t like, I mean it. Tan is also amazing. She is friendly and personable. She is truly a comedian, and we always leave with a good laugh from her. I’ve never had a negative situation with any staff, they are all amazing! We have been loving the live music on the patio during the summer, and always bring friends along who visit from out of town. Never leaving this place!
This place is a local gem! We came here hungry after a long drive home and it absolutely hit the spot. Tan and crew took great care of us and gave us some great suggestions on appetizers and entrees. We started the meal with the spicy liver and shrimp appetizers. The liver was nice and crispy, but also the sauce completed it with a perfect amount of sweetness. The shrimp was also great as it had a kick of spiciness, but the crunch you got from each bite made you wanting more and more. After we were about to finish the appetizers the entrees came out and we went to town. The dishes we ordered was the phad Thai, chicken larb, phad ka-pow, and pork panang. Each had great flavor and was really fresh, but our favorite was the phad ka-pow as we had never tried this before. Overall I would make it a point to stop here on our trips back from Palm Springs or Joshua Tree.
Had a great dinner here while in town for work. Great patio and a little bar area but I sat in the large dining room. Nice view with lots of windows. Friendly staff that are helpful. I had the Tom yum soup with shrimp. Good flavor and spice. I also had pad kee mao or drunken noodles with shrimp. Lots of flavor and spice. Good peppers for a bit of crunch. The shrimp were well cooked...good flavor and not chewy. Lots of parking.
A very nice Thai Restaurant with good service and great food. A full bar, wine, etc... Evening entertainment on patio on weekends, but I haven't experienced yet. Nice restaurant for date night, generally quiet in evenings, can be nosey inside at lunch due to local lunch hour crowds from nearby businesses. I have twice ordered the Veggie Delight, but have bren satisfied with other meals; their curry dishes seem to be very popular snd I really like the Lumpia. The ladies room usually lacks attention, should be checked on more frequently.
Service and vibes were excellent. The owner was super nice and staff was also friendly and attentive. I ordered the drunken noodles and it tasted great, but the chicken was pretty dry — Otherwise, it was yummy. My friend ordered the yellow curry with tofu and loved it, so I’ll have to try that one next time. The salad that came with the food was yummy and Thai iced tea was perfect for a hot day.
Not bad. If your looking for authentic Thai cooking keep looking this is not it. That being said the place was clean. The service was excellent. The people where pleasant. When I try a new to me Thai place I always start with a bowl tom yum, I make my own from scratch. This was a poorly done bowl of tom yum. Tom Yum is made with Galanga root, Lemon grass, Kafir lime leaves, tom yum paste, chili Mushroom, onion, and chicken or shrimp or both. This soup was made from a small amount of dry tom yum powder and they attempted to bring up the flavor with vinegar. Very disappointing. The seafood dish was acceptable but bland. It had imitation crab sticks they where listed in the menu so that was not unexpected. The seafood had a good flavor and was not bad. However again this is not authentic. The dish would have been awesome in a chili sauce like pad phet or tamarind sauce. Anyway they made a reasonable effort and I will go back to try some of their curry dishes.
Recommended by a friend, I'd come back. Ordered the green curry with chicken, medium spice. good mix of vegetables in the curry. Though I ordered the dish medium?? spicey (3), I feel it was mild plus. I asked for something to spice it up, a chili paste packet was provided. The chili paste had a good flavor, but it would have overpowered the flavor of the curry. Staff friendly. Jazz was playing softly in the background, perfect volume. Ate on the patio. There is landscape lighting and string lights in the trees; I imagine the atmosphere at night is delightful. Though the outdoor furniture is made of plastic, I would still consider bringing a date here.
The spot looks nice inside plenty of parking .... parking on opposite ends of the windows road avoid walking a bunch ... the food is mediocre mushrooms were good however and the orange chicken was amazing would come back just for orange chicken ..... service is bad but could be to the amount of people eating at the place hard to handle everyone ig ... pricy ..... orange chicken thooooo
While walking into this Thai restaurant, you are greeted by the beautifully arranged string lights as well as a large outdoor seating area. It was my first time visiting this place and I was meeting a large group of friends for a graduation dinner. The staff were extremely accommodating with our group and had a large table set up for us. I was impressed by the waitress who took our order. She had an amazing memory and was able to remember all 12 of our orders after hearing it twice. The wait wasn’t too long and the food came out quickly. For drinks, I ordered their Bangkok breeze which had a nice topical flavor with hints of rum peeking out. Our whole table got some spring rolls to share but when they came out, they looked and tasted like egg rolls. For the main entree, I choose their chicken drunken noodles. While the noodles were cooked well, the rest of the dish was severely unseasoned, the chicken was bland and lacked any personality and the overall dish wasn’t spicy at all. While the staff had amazing customer service and the seating area was lovely, it was disappointing how bland the food was. I would definitely only come here for the aesthetically pleasing seating, the live music, and the drinks but not the food.
