mostly reviewing this place in hopes i can come back with friends some day, as i came by myself. i did not know how large the portions were, & thankful my server guided me to the lunch/small portions menu. she didn’t stop there with her excellent service - made sure i had everything i could have wanted or needed, including paper plates to go since im traveling; which i was fully prepared to be told they didn’t have. i did get the marinara & meatball even though i typically don’t go for red sauce (because i had to see what 1/2 lb meatball was like) & a chicken caesar salad. though i do wish the red sauce had a bit more flavor to it, everything else was absolutely delightful (& the pasta was very hot & steaming fresh). i wish i knew what the table next to me got, it looked very impressive. but despite the larger portions for just me i still have left overs for my late night snacks on this trip & was surprised how cheap it was for how fresh & large.

"Dine in for two please!" Bucca Di Beppo. Absolutely, amazing. Everything from the food, to the service. Definitely went the extra mile to cross the T's and dot the I's. Let's talk food. Everything was authentic and delicious. We started with Calamari as an appetizer, and completely devoured that. Next came the main. Didn't want to get too crazy for our first time there. So we ordered Spaghetti And Meatball, and Fettuccine Supremo. Both in the small portions mind you. Each portion was enough for 4 people. If you do come here. You need to bring your appetite's. Now, let me clear my throat (uhhhh hmmmm). "Gigantic sized portions for 4 please!!!" Now. Let's talk service. Cindy is like a god send. She is probably the best waitress I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. From the moment she walked over to greet us, to the time we left. I literally have never felt more compelled, to make a review about the quality of service we received. She answered all our questions and went out of her way to make us as comfortable as possible. She came over consistently to make sure that things were okay. She was amazing and has definitely helped me continue to dine here. I will be posting this on Yelp, Google Reviews and anywhere else I can.

The food here has always been good and plentiful, although I don't remember it being so expensive. All sharable dishes are 50$ and up, all small dishes are 35-40$. Now with that said they are all sharable between 2 or 3 people (small) to 4-6 people (large, but those numbers are relative to how much you eat, for me, cut that number in half). We (wife and I) got the lasagna. It was tasty, a bit dry, with lots of ricotta and some meat. It was the full size, and we are about 1/2 of it. We had to ask for some extra marinara sauce due to the dry ricotta. But it was not bad. This is still a good place for much. They have reasonable prices 15-20$ and you get protein and pasta. Oh I forgot to mention the dinner portions don't come with anything, it's all ala cart. So 55$ chicken Parmesan is a plate of just that, no pasta to accompany it, that is separate and another 30-50$.... So this place can get pricey. But for a large group it is probably still worth it. Unless they all eat like me and you eat, 2 pieces of Parm and some pasta.... You have to ask for the complementary bread, why you have to ask for it is beyond me. They should ask you if you want "complementary" bread. If you say no, good for them. But had we not asked the waitress made it feel like we would not have gotten any. Why do they have a don't ask don't tell policy for bread??? It's not like your watching your carbs at this place?? Overall, the food is good, the service was ok (place was not busy on a Sunday at 6, but was picking up as the night went on) and waitress would disappear for stretches at a time), the atmosphere is the same as it was 10 years ago (which is a good thing), the prices are a bit high as Italian food is simple to make and doesn't use particularly expensive ingredients for the most part. I would still recommend, just wish everything was 5 to 10$ cheaper. PS. sorry for the picture of the partially consumed lasagna, we were too hungry to wait....

It was my first time and I was excited to check it out! We had about a 45 min wait since we didn't have reservations for a Friday night. But that wasn't so bad. Watching all the yummy food go by to other tables.... couldn't wait to order!!! We finally were seated and started off with an order of mozzarella garlic bread. Oh my gosh....it was good. It had layered mozzarella cheese with pieces of garlic found throughout the bread. 🧄 I asked the waitress for a small side of their creamy pesto sauce...I am a dipper. 😊 Oh, I highly recommend getting that side of creamy pesto to dip your garlic bread in!! We then decided on ordering the meat pizza they offer. 🍕 Oh, the spicy sausage was excellent. The pizza is paper thin and not greasy. Our waitress was so polite and helpful on suggestions. When she came around to inquire if we wanted to order dessert...Lord knows I did, but my tummy said it was perfectly full and not to push it! Definitely will be returning. I will note that when you look at the menu, the prices seem high....but honestly watching the different dishes they brought out, you get A LOT of food. Everything was so wonderful! We usually eat to-go from this location, so we weren't aware that they did not open their restaurant for dine-in until 4pm due to parking issues with neighboring businesses. They have good portion meals at great prices so, whatever your budget might be, you are likely to find something on their menu to fit it and then some. Make sure to call ahead and make reservations or arrive early to get seated if you're planning on making your way there on a weekend because this is a fairly popular place for big groups and tends to get busy. Always a good spot, came on Valentines Day without reservations. Was seated in 10 minutes before the rush of the crowd. I love this place and the service is great! I came here to celebrate birthday. I ordered the pizza con formaggio which is basically a cheese pizza in a size small which was about 6-8 small slices. I also ordered a large chicken parmigiana which were 5 pieces of chicken and a large fettuccine Alfredo which we split with 3 adults and we still had leftovers! Food was delicious and even when I ate it for leftover the next day for lunch it was just as great. I wish I would of taken picture of the food but I was hungry. The dessert on the other hand I got was the colossal brownie sundae for a birthday reward, between 4 people we ate half the ice cream and most of the brownie chunks. It's huge but really tasty!!

This place has terrible parking. It was open on Thanksgiving which was great but overall it seemed lacking from the other bucca's I have visited. The pumpkin pie was still frozen. There was no pizza and they didn't have eggplant parmigiana. They sat us in the garden patio area and didn't turn on the heaters until way later when we finished our meal which was 8:30 pm.

Before Covid, I used to always go to Buca. So last night for dinner was my first time going since Covid. Unfortunately, it wasn't the same. Usually, there's a lot of people laughing, having a good time music playing, upbeat wait staff. But when I went there there was hardly anybody there the music wasn't playing ( until right before we left), the staff looked like they didn’t want to be there and it just was completely dead. Not all of this is the restaurants' fault, but it just shows us how Covid has impacted a lot of our fun and favorite restaurants. It was actually kind of sad. Anyways, the food was really good. I forgot how big the portions were, so we went a little overboard, but it's all good because we took it home for leftovers. The only disappointment was the cannoli. The shell was tough. Dessert is life, and so I was bummed out about that. I still love all of the fun random decor they have throughout the restaurant. Your eyes are constantly moving about! They have ample parking, which is always convenient.

When we first got there employees walked past us and didn't say anything and then someone came up and seated us. There's a cool arched ceiling in the entryway that reminds me of Caesar's Palace. The whole place is sectioned off so it's not just like one big eating area there's little alcoves that big gatherings can eat in by themselves booths and tables. Our waiter didn't take too long and was friendly and professional. We got our drinks and salad which is big enough for three people but we had to ask for the bread. Our food was out pretty quick and the servings were huge. The flavor and texture of the noodles was wonderful, usually places overcook them. I had the shells stuffed with ricotta, Italian sausage and spinach. It was really good. I really liked their elderflower punch which is a drink made with gin. The waiter was really busy so we didn't get any refills on our soda before we were done eating. Now we have lunch for tomorrow. It is kind of pricey so it's more of a once-in-a-lifetime or special occasion thing than an every week thing. Overall I'm glad we went.

With the 3 of us, we had enough leftover for 1-2 more meals! Anyway, it’s always a festive and friendly environment with funky photographs all around and old nostalgic party music. Not the most delicate food, but good for party and casual dinner.

Food sucked. We ordered one of those pizzas with veggies and some white cheese... and a pasta, meatball. Nothing was great. It was just eatable. The waitress was great. Their home bread with vinegar was the best thing. The atmosphere was just weird to me. It felt kind of dirty. Just stuff everywhere. But it could just me I don't know how to appreciate it all.

I purchased two large orders of fried calamari to-go and at a final price of $43 the serving size was awfully small for a restaurant that prides itself in family size portions. The fried calamari was also packed in two containers with plastic lids that got warped from the heat and in turn made the said calamari soggy. I really like bucca's, but this location was very saddening.

We had a disappointing experience at Buca di Beppo. A couple weeks ago, our party of 6, plus a baby, called ahead to make reservations and specifically asked about the gratuity policy. We were told it only applied to parties of 20 or more. However, upon recently reviewing my receipt, I noticed an automatic gratuity was added, and we had unknowingly tipped on top of it, resulting in a 40% tip for mediocre food and service. Our server, Cynthia, was average at best, and the food was nothing special. While it’s partly our fault for not checking the receipt closely, the lack of transparency about the gratuity policy feels dishonest, especially since other locations don’t do this despite also catering to large groups. This felt like a sneaky way to overcharge us, and it’s left a bad taste. Shame on this establishment for not being upfront.

Few years ago Bucca used to be a great place, this time I was disapointed by the balnd flavor of the manicotti and the salad. The salad was mainly leaves with little apples, walnut and gorgonzola! The manicotti were very creamy, but lacked a dash of salt and some savoriness from the cheese. The positive thing: large portions and nice seating

Not sure what was going on this night but the service was slow. We had to ask around other employees to get the waitress to stop by. First time my guest was trying buca and definitely didn't convince her to return.

Perhaps we came just after opening for dinner. We first had one waitress who seemed very friendly however soon after she informed us she was going on a break and the next waitress may have been a new hire she tried but seemed to be overwhelmed doing what was needed or maybe had other customers to take care of in any event we ended up waiting a long time to get her attention! Plus we did mention to both of them that this was a birthday celebration and yet we had to wait for service!

They let us down. I had dinner with 3 of my friends last night. After dinner, we all agreed the food was bad. This is what we all agree on. Mozzarella Caprese- the tomato has no flavor and they don't look like the picture they posted on the internet red and flavorful. The tomato has this faded pink color. Eggplant Parmigiana- tasted plasticky, it wasn't freshly made and it seemed just heated in a microwave. Brussels Sprouts & Prosciutto- doesn't look like the picture on the internet and it was dry and turned. Chicken Marsala- doesn't look like the picture on their website. ours was covered with a black source. and way way way too sweet. Fried Calamari, Shrimp Fra Diavolo and Mixed Green- everyone was happy. I hardly write a review. It was a bad experience and I have to share it in order to feel right.

UPDATE: 14 days later and the refund still hasn't posted. Remember when buca even vaguely or simple did good deal? A pathetic small undercooked pizza, wilted lettuce and a salad, for $63. ANY pizza joint any place, any salad joint any place would provide something twice as good for half the price. We did call and get a bit of a refund back and the manager on shift was very kind about it, but this certainly should never have happened.

They are changing portions of take outs and i feel like getting robbed. $40 for this amount of food. Are you kidding me? This is like the individual portion that i used to order from them. They just add another meatball and some more spaghetti. Even i love your marinara sauce. I think this one will be my last meal with you.

I dont know how anyone rates this place a higher number than a 1. I order thick crust and extra cheese. What I got was a cold paper thin salty with very little cheese. It smelled horrible. GROSS!!! I was robbed of $26 plus $13 tip. Would not recommend.

We arrived to a mostly empty restaurant. They host surely greeted us and led us, including my 2-year-old son, to a corner of a well-populated room cut off behind a chair. Then no server ever came for us, and we left 20 minutes later after the table next to us was seated and served their drinks. Cannot recommend and will not return.
