Excellent restaurant: more than adequate service, friendly staff, and very good food. There's a variety of dishes on the menu (traditional Spanish dishes or Requena). I highly recommend going there.

I really liked the place... but the food even more... it's super authentic cuisine. These homemade flavors are taken to a higher level. The cook knows how to combine ingredients and create a great, distinct flavor while respecting what they're cooking. The stew tastes like stew... the roast lamb tastes like roast lamb... the grilled pig's trotters taste like grilled meat—tender and delicious. Thank you for cooking such wonderful food... we will definitely be back.

What an absolute gem of a find. The food was absolutely fantastic, especially the duck and would highly recommend. Move on seventeen months and we returned. We were expecting a similar experience but as usual being an airhead I forgot to book our table of four, we arrived to find it was absolutely packed out with a sign saying fully booked! We had a chat with a lovely man at reception and eventually he said we could have a table, a massive smile came over my face and put my arms around him saying thank you as we wanted other family members to enjoy what we previously had. Well, no surprise it was as fantastic as our previous visit and certainly didn't disappoint in any way the food, service and atmosphere was brilliant. Thank you so very much for everything. Obviously we will return at some other time we are visiting the town

A couple of us went with the idea of ​​trying Requena's typical dishes, especially its famous cured meats, and the experience was excellent. We made a reservation the night before, and to our surprise, there were no tables left the next day, which speaks volumes about its popularity. The quality of the cured meats is outstanding: authentic flavor, well-prepared, and presented with care. The menu also includes other traditional dishes that complete a perfect meal. The service from the waiters was impeccable, always friendly, attentive, and smiling. The atmosphere is that of a typical Requena inn, cozy and with that traditional touch that makes the meal even more enjoyable. The price is very good for the quality offered. We came from Valencia city, eager to try it because it had been recommended to us... and they weren't wrong. Without a doubt, a place to return to and recommend.

Whenever we can, we go there to eat, and they just keep getting better. Everything is always delicious: pig's ear, patatas bravas, Manchego gazpacho… not to mention the meat dishes. Lately, they've really stepped up their quality, and it shows. The wine list is extensive, with all kinds of wines, from the most affordable to the best in the area. The price is quite reasonable for the quality they serve. For me, it's undoubtedly the best restaurant in Requena.

We booked late, but they got us a table for two and served us quickly and in a very friendly manner. The food was spectacular. The duck, Requena's typical dish (a kind of stew), and the dessert were particularly noteworthy. Excellent value for money.

We made a quick stop for some tapas. The place was tidy. The service was good. We ordered one bravas, half a garlic and mullet, and half a grilled ear. The service was timely. The bravas were very good. The ear was delicious (worthy of the region). I noticed the garlic and mullet lacked some flavor. The quantity was right for what we ordered. The prices were fair. Looking forward to going back to try the set menus, which must be delicious from what we saw. To park, you have to park in the castle square, and there aren't many spaces. Otherwise, you'll have to park lower down and walk a bit.

Wow! Really great food and excellent service! Very full so make sure to make a reservation because they were so full they could not take anymore guests. The food was… incredible! We ordered the out of the menu Salmorejo and was one of the best that I have tried. The flavor of the meat was so rich from the rabbit to the duck. Something else that surprised me was how quick the service was. Highly recommended!

The best restaurant (quality, quantity, and price) in Requena, in my opinion! Anytime I go to visit wineries in the area, I always go for their meńu del día. My favorite is the conejo a la parrilla. Also, the service is exceptional and the staff is always friendly!

Un sitio que está en el centro histórico de Requena y hace que este restaurante tenga su encanto. Muy cerca la plaza de la Villa y la Iglesia del Carmen. Tienen muy buen menú y las raciones son generosas. Además toda la comida muy sabrosa y utilizando productos de la zona. Rapidez en el servicio. Ideal para grupos de amigos y familiares.

Un lugar que visitar su estás en Requena. Buena ubicación, decoración peculiar y comida tradicional. Buen menú diario por 14 €, quizás la mejor opción. Probamos los diferentes platos tradicionales: moje, morteruelo, ajo arriero, sopa encubierta o gazpacho manchego. Me encantó la posibilidad de pedir medias raciones, lo cual permite probar más platos. Todos los postres son caseros y había mucho donde elegir.

There are two set menus, one for 16 euros and the other for 24. We wanted a generous portion of quality food and took the waitress's advice on the 24 euro "special menu." Big mistake! The leg of lamb, which she said wasn't usually on the menu, was dry and ridiculously small, as you can see in the picture compared to the fork. We politely asked the waitress to replace it with a larger piece, as she had "advised," but she refused. Another thing to note is that the wine glasses arrive at the table without any indication that it was the wine you ordered. It seems they prefer reviews to be submitted through this channel.

I rarely leave negative reviews, but my experience here was unacceptable. We arrived hoping to get a table, but the staff told us there were no free tables available. However, several empty tables and chairs were visibly stacked outside, clearly unused. When we politely asked if they could set one up for us, we were rudely rejected without any proper explanation. The tone was dismissive and unwelcoming, which made the whole situation even worse. It wasn’t about the wait – it was about basic hospitality. A simple explanation or effort would have gone a long way. Instead, we were turned away while perfectly usable tables sat unused just meters away. Based on this experience, I won’t be returning, and I would not recommend this place to anyone expecting respectful treatment.
