A very good lunch at El Tocinero. We ordered the T-bone steak menu, which includes two starters. We ordered fried squid (which was delicious) and a mixed salad, very tasty and varied. And the star of the show, the T-bone steak, served with a hot stone to cook it to perfection. For dessert, a good slice of grandma's cake, which was really good. Just a suggestion: I would serve the T-bone steak a little more seared on the outside, more in the Basque Country style. It's just a small suggestion, as it was truly excellent. I also want to mention the young woman who served us; she was very friendly and attentive. Very reasonably priced. A great choice. A highly recommended place for a good lunch, with quality ingredients and excellent service. We'll be back!

Today we went to check out this restaurant we'd heard about. We ordered the ribeye steak menu (for 2 people, 2 starters, 1kg ribeye steak with potatoes and peppers, dessert, and a drink for €60). There were four of us, so we ordered two menus. For starters, we had croquettes, mushrooms with ham, fried squid, and mussels in sauce—all delicious. The ribeye steaks were seared and served on a hot plate; the meat was incredibly tender and flavorful. Our plate got cold, so we asked for another hot plate to finish cooking the rest of the steak. They brought us another one without any problem. For dessert, there were several options, all of which looked very tempting, but we were full. I thought the restaurant was very nice, and both the bar staff and the waiters were very friendly and attentive. We enjoyed it and will definitely return and recommend it.

Definitely a place to return to. It was close to our apartment, and we came here several times for lunch due to the quality and price of the food. Plus, the service was very attentive.

It's an inn where you can relax and get away from it all. The town and surrounding area are super pretty. The inn is a 10, and the restaurant is excellent. The best thing is the view from the room, where you're surrounded by horses, cows, and greenery. We'll definitely be back.

We'd been on a 4 weeks trip and I can tell this hotel was one of the best we stayed in this price range. We paid €50 for 2/night without breakfast. The room was clean and tidy. The location is in a beautiful area surrounded by hills and mountains, perfect for hiking 🚶‍♀️ 👌 Last but not least...the kitchen is excellent!! Highly recommended!

Conocí ese lugar de hace años, fue un par de veces y la verdad no era ni fu ni fa!Comparar de ahora ha mejorado en muchas cosas de 1...a 10 le doy un 7🫡. Empezamos por un lugar muy grande y acogedor,con su aparcamiento enorme,al lado del restaurante hay un parque donde pueden pasar tiempo los niños.Fuimos ahí sin reservar la mesa y la verdad no hubo ningún problema para que nos dieran un mesa(era domingo) Personal qué estuvo ahí era muy cordial con nosotros.El camarero que no as atendido fue muy educado y bastante paciente,y amable.La comida a mejorado bastante ahora, eramos un grupo familiar y la verdad nos atendieron muy rápido.Yo digo que seguro que volveré.

Sitio acogedor y rústico. Estaba todo muy limpio. Los colchones un poco incómodos te clavas Los muelles y las almohadas muy bajas. Te hacen la habitación todos los días. El restaurante no está mal cenamos el primer día pedimos croquetas de cocido muy ricas, solomillo estofado con setas buen sabor pero la carne muy hecha y algo para Picar que no estaba mal. El camarero muy majo.

The place is fine. We stayed in their rooms and had dinner in their restaurant. The service was pleasant and friendly. Dinner was a hamburger and tuna belly salad for two. We were fine, and everything was very average.

Excellent location for a stopover for the Brittany ferry. Good parking Exterior area around bar restaurant and accommodation at rear, not been cleaned in months if not more. Fair bar prices. Accommodation is not suitable for anyone with disabilities.

Del hotel no opino por que no hicimos uso de él. Estábamos de paso un domingo y pedimos unas hamburguesas para llevar. Lo que es en si la hamburguesa con los otros ingredientes,pasable,salvo el pan que se desacia. Las patatas fritas que nos pusieron de acompañamiento,estaban secas como si fueran recalentadas del día anterior. No se como estarán los demás platos de su carta,pero las hamburguesas no las recomendaría.

Tardaron media hora en tomarnos nota. Es verdad que uno de los comensales, se retrasó 10 min y decidimos esperar, pero aún así nos parecio mucho. Mucha descoordinacion, incluso para pagar tuve que ll…

He intentado reservar en el restaurante para un grupo de 16 y la respuesta ha sido una carcajada primero y luego un no rotundo. Seguro que tienen sus razones para no aceptar grupos numerosos, pero yo habría agradecido una negativa más cortés.

Muy mala elección, descuidado, y sucio. Además una atención pésima tanto en la recepción para el hostal como en el restaurante.

We've been eating the set menu, the steak was awful, the salad was just a plain bagged salad... And the ribeye steak tasted terrible, awful, it was like eating chewing gum, we didn't like it at all. They gave bread to those of us who weren't eating the set menu without asking and charged us for it (and we didn't want bread, we left it). The worst part is that some of the food was bad because it's all the children have eaten all day and they got really sick, vomiting.

The place is beautiful and very clean. On Saturday, three of us went for lunch with a table reservation for 3:15 p.m., but we weren't allowed until 3:40 p.m. Once we were seated, we weren't served until 4:00 p.m., and they didn't even serve us drinks. We ordered a 1-kilo xhuleton, and between the fat and the bone, it was only almost 400g, minus the cold fries. I ordered suckling pig, and it was salty, and the starters were passable. After dessert, we ordered a flan, which was pure rubber and so bad we left it all. The cheesecake, which was creamy with gelatin, was awful. In short, I wouldn't go again, nor would I recommend it.
