We went for lunch in August. It's a bit further from the crowds, so it's a little easier to find a table, but ideally, to avoid any surprises, you should make a reservation. They have a daily set menu or à la carte options. Any of the cachopo varieties and the octopus are excellent, and the Asturian cheese board is also incredible. Highly recommended!

Correct. The veal escalopes with Cabrales cheese were delicious, served with potatoes and salad. The prawns were very tender. My partner ordered the avocado salad and cachopo (a breaded and fried meat dish). The rice pudding was okay, but the rice was a little overcooked. It was fine, but not worth €24 for the set menu.

Had a really good experience for lunch here. They take a lot of care making sure everything is really clean, the food was tasty, and the service was excellent with a friendly staff. My boyfriend wasn’t super excited about his meat, but it wasn’t bad. I’m a vegetarian and they had a few vegetarian options to choose from on the lunch menu. I enjoyed everything that I ate.

Restaurante en el centro de Ribadesella. En frente de un parking público (gratis). Menú del día por 15€ incluyendo primer y segundo plato, postre, pan y bebida (mirar foto del menú). Hay otro menú para la noche del cual desconozco el precio. La atención de los camareros dejó que desear. Les dijimos 3-4 veces que ya estábamos listos para pedir y pasaron muchas veces por delante diciendo que nos atendería otro camarero (varios camareros hicieron eso). Pese a tardar en tomarnos nota, nos trajeron los platos muy rápido. La cantidad en los platos me resultó apropiada para el precio del menú, y la calidad aceptable, siendo buena en algunos platos (fabes con pulpo el mejor plato en nuestra opinión). De postres nos pedimos yogur natural y flan casero. Calidad por debajo de la esperada, aparte de que esperamos una mayor variedad en los postres. Le pongo 3 porque pese a quedar llenos y no tener ningún plato malo, la experiencia estuvo por debajo de las expectativas.

The place was recently renovated, so the decor is very new and everything is very clean. We had the €25 menu, and honestly, the value for money isn't what it's worth. We ordered avocado and tomato salad, which was practically nonexistent, baos (you can eat them in one bite), and for the main course, cachopo, which seemed frozen and wasn't very tender, and sea bass, full of bones. For dessert, we had rice pudding (good) and yogurt (also good). As I said, this menu is €18, not €25. The waiters' friendliness and helpfulness are a minus.

Except for some dishes, food is nothing special and price goes the same way. Menu is more or less worth the price. Service is decent too.

Menú de 22€ entre semana,calidad de batalla,raciones muy correctas,las verdura son de sobre/congeladas, insipidas,fabes de 5,la pasta en su punto y rica,el cachopo no sé su procedencia pero parecía congelado por su empanado(en la foto hay ración y media)el peor que he comido hasta ahora,el bacalao muy rico ...los postres,lo peor ,las natillas eran sobre el chino con leche casi sin hacer,el yogur,de yogurtera, casero SI ESTABA RICO,el arroz con leche similar a uno industrial.calidad / precio me pareció muy caro,además llegamos con 2 mesas ocupadas en la terraza/comedor cubierta del exterior pero nos pusieron dentro,en el bar ...según iba entrando gente les ponían en la terraza ..porque? Ni idea.el personal tenían que practicar lo que es una 😃

We had a dinner reservation at the restaurant next door. We went for a drink before dinner. We were surprised that in the middle of July all the restaurants were full and this one was empty, but we were just killing time. When we went to pay, our bill was 9 euros, but we were rudely told that a minimum of 10 euros was required to pay by card. We told them we didn't have cash, and they shrugged and frowned. They made us order a bottle of water so they could charge us the minimum. 😂😂😂

Waited for over 40 minutes for my order to be taken. Eventually left. 3 or 4 staff floating about ignoring me and was not busy. Locals came in and were served promptly. I would suggest tourists avoid this establishment as they are not welcome
