Great prices for a plate of food! The food is good! I've tried different dishes everytime I go. Highly recommend
I got the sesame chicken (not spicey) with fried rice and also fried biscuits and egg drop soup. All for $14.33. Great amount of food for this little place. Its my absolute favorite for sesame chicken. And bonus the meal comes with a drink.
One of my favorite hidden gems! The food is always so fresh and flavorful; their wings and rice never disappoint. But the absolute BEST thing there is their Kool-Aid slushie. It’s icy, sweet, and easily the best slushie I’ve ever had. I crave it all the time! The place is cozy, and the staff is amazing, super friendly and very kind!! It’s also super convenient to stop by after a Walmart run. Definitely a 10/10, highly recommend!

Been here before when it was called happy you you back in my college days going to Texas state technical college across the street learning how to fix air conditioners back in the 2000’s. Lunch specials were decently priced and the food was not bad and pretty appetizing. The only real issue is the size of the place. It’s pretty small even for a sit down and dining in. So it was always best to try and get there before the lunch rush or in between peak hours.
A+! So tonight we ordered two chefs specials, the general tso chicken and the house special fried rice for pickup and both were phenomenal! We based our order off of a menu that we found online, and then we were pleasantly surprised to discover that their prices are actually cheaper than the menu we saw online. By like a couple of dollars cheaper each! We called in our order and it was ready in 10 minutes. The general chicken was super fresh and crispy and perfectly balanced between sweet and spicy. I hate it when it comes sitting in a bunch of liquid and China One nailed it on the amount of sauce to use. The fried rice was amazing too. It had lots of good pleasant textures and different tastes and the rice was perfectly cooked. None of it was greasy in the least. So IN A NUTSHELL: Our food was hot and delicious and generously portioned and ended up being cheaper than we thought it would be. We found out new fave Chinese spot for sure!
New favorite spot! This is a hidden jewel. When you eat in, they bring your food hot and fresh to the table. Love it love it love it!!
Gigantic portions compared to how much i paid. You can add a bowl of soup to the meal for $0.99. My daughter has asked that we come here as part of a weekly rotation and that is saying a lot as she is really picky about what foods she eats
Cute and Quaint little chineese food resturant. The staff was very friendly. The lady ran both the to-go register and served all of the tables at the same time! I thought for sure we would have delays but she did a great job of attending to everyone equally. I enjoy the everyday lunch menu. Supersized portions, Impressive! Food we ordered: Singapore noodles- (Photo)Delicious and spicy. Fresh noodles and meat. On the salty side. I Rate an 8 out of 10 Sesame Chicken Meal- HUGE PORTION! (Photo- I had taken some food off my plate for my two kids) Comes with a soup choice, fried rice and an egg roll. Fresh, flavorful, a bit on the sweet side if you like sweet meat, rice was good. Wonton soup was good. Fresh and crispy noodles on the side, but my wonton had no meat in it 🤔. Egg roll was crispy and hot. Rating: 9 out of 10 Sweet and Sour Chicken- also served with a soup, fried rice and egg roll. Very fresh and fried to crispy perfection. Sweet and sour sauce on the side which is served hot. Yummy! Rating: 10 out of 10 Tai Tea- good, not too sweet. Not made with powder. Rating: 7 out of 10 Pina Colada w/ Tapioca- I taste more pineapple than coconut which is delightfully different. Tapioca is fresh. Cool and refreshing frozen beverage. Rating: 10 out of 10 P.S. we are a family of 4 and had to take two boxes of food home!
The food was good, not great. The flavor was nice and the appearance was pleasant. My problem was the chicken was tough and not tender.
Lets start with the pros: Cheap food & large portions. Food isn't great quality-- your typical quick neighborhood Chinese place but doesn't taste bad. Cons: Service is usually slow. Food takes awhile to come out. The restaurant needs a deep clean in the dining area. Overall: order in advance and take it to go. For under $15, you'd get a large meal including rice, a protein, appetizer, and drink.
This place is small . It's a drop by kinda place to grab and go . My recommendation is to take your order to go. It's very warm inside just a couple of tables. In their defense, the food is solid Chinese fare . The service is to the point no chit chat . The atmosphere is meh . Good spot for a quick lunch . Very popular $6.99 lunch special!
I ordered online for delivery. Lo Mein was very bland with little taste. Egg roll was a little over browned but had a good taste. Sesame chicken was ok. With delivery and all, it was a little too expensive for the quality. They do give large portions. I ordered a second time from China One tonight. The Sesame chicken was very bland, hardly any taste. The egg roll was just ok. Crab puffs tasted like straight cream cheese with no crab meat or sweetness noted at all. Very disappointing. I don’t think I will be ordering from them again.
Quick and fast service! An absorbent amount of food to be the family. General chicken was moist and just the right amount of battering. Would have liked it spicier. The special Lo mien was overwhelmingly a lot of noodles. It will feed the hungry for sure.
Always have them mess up for dash orders. I just called restraunt and the dude could care less and told me to just call door dash um yall are the ones who messed up the order not door dash. Why wouldn’t yall just fix it?
Conlplete waste of money all li got was a bunch of rice with small pieces of chicken so if u like all rice on the order u good. Egg rolls cold and egg drop soup all salt. Waste of money ans never again
Horrible customer service. Food is tasteless. I’m almost certain that the fried rice has been marinating in ill regard & left on a counter to catch that essence of awful from the rude person that answered the phone. The soup has an underlying taste of burnt nothingness. How you ruin soup I just don’t know. All around awful. Will never order from here again.
This food is horrible!!! And the service sucks as well. Everything I ordered was literally the worst Chinese food I’ve ever had !! Gross 🤢 Someone needs to health inspect this establishment. I got so sick for several days after eating this crap ! Close this place down before it makes someone else sick !!!!
Was hoping to find a place we could order regularly from! But save your money. This is not the place. Food was very bland. Not much flavor. We ordered a lot of food that’s now sitting on my table. Pot stickers had a nice sear from the pan. Ordered the spare ribs. But they were cut up already not on bone. A little odd. Fried rice didn’t have much flavor. Noodles weren’t good. They had an odd color to them. Maybe a new chef? This was our first time ordering here. We love Chinese food but this was a disappointment. I never make reviews but I felt I had too!
