Well, I’ll tell you this- You don’t have to be Alberto Einstein to figure out how great this place is! Day one and all hands on deck. These bagel geniuses are whipping out bread items of wonder. The bagels that legends are made of. Price was very reasonable. Wait time was 14 minutes- very acceptable on a packed day one. And the bagel sammiches—- OUTTASIGHT! This is a Nobu 5 start phenom baybay.
Despite some negative reviews, I wanted to try this place today. All of my orders came correct and bagels were also so delicious and soft. I will definitely shop there soon again. Our order came pretty quick. Also there were plenty of bagel options. I am happy to try and I recommend this place.
I had an absolutely outstanding experience! The service was exceptional from start to finish, and the entire team went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. A special shoutout to Monique, the manager, who truly made the difference. She was incredibly attentive, professional, and genuinely cared about making sure I had a great experience. I came to get a breakfast bagel and ended up buying a breakfast sandwich and a dozen bagels. You get 13 because it’s a Baker’s dozen. Everybody in this place was super friendly and super helpful. There was a man who was struggling moving around and they actually brought him his order to him at the table without even calling his name. This place was super packed and they could’ve just hollered out his name but the young man didn’t he went over and above. The sandwich was great. The bagels are great and so is the Shmear! And when I say busy, I mean super busy. People ordering in the drive-through people coming in and out and people ordering for pick up.
Always a great experience at Einstein Bros. Bagels! Fresh, delicious bagels every time. Perfectly toasted, flavorful, and satisfying. One of my go-to spots for breakfast or a quick bite!

@einsteinbros recently opened in the area #richmondtx. Tried it for the first time, and enjoyed it, We went with the Garden Avacado on Gourmet Cheddar Jalapeño Bagel and the Cheddar Cheese Egg Sandwich on Gourmet Green Chili Bagel. both items were fantastic, made me realize that I have been missing out, not having tried Einstein Bro's before. Also want to highlight that the restaurant was snice and clean and the staff was super friendly

came at 8:10 am today. went through the drive thru and ordered a TOASTED onion bagel with cream cheese and that was it. you’d think it’s so simple, it couldn’t be messed up. wrong. the service was terrible, i kept getting the window slammed in my face, and didn’t even get a “hi good morning” after i had said it. i don’t know if she was just young or what. i paid, and she tried to hand me this huge bag, and i said i just ordered one single toasted onion bagel with cream cheese, i don’t think that’s mine. she takes it back then comes back with it and tells me what’s in it. i say no it’s still not mine. all the while everytime she leaves she’s slamming the window shut so loudly and rudely. she comes back a few minutes later with a bag and says “sorry, i tried giving you the wrong one.” and handed me another bag with a single bagel. i drive 10 mins to work and they still gave me the wrong order. the bagel isn’t toasted and it’s definitely not onion. so now i have no breakfast and cannot go back to the location due to me having work at 8:30. just ridiculous.

We ordered 5 bagels, two of them came out wrong, all of them had no schmear on the top bagel part, literally NO schmear, the cucumber in avocado bagel was stale, the lettuce was black. Less cream cheese is okay but no cream cheese? Other locations put ample amount of schmear which is what this place is known for! If I let that go, stale veggies? I wish I could get refund for my order since none of them were upto par! Very bad, please improve as time goes by.
I am a regular client but mostly use Downtown as I work near by. I live in Richmond so went to Aliana location. A lady name Anissa at the counter was not at all helpful. I told her that I cannot use app to order bakers dozen and like to add to my rewards, she answered she will take care of it and I can order at register but she closed the ticket and said she cannot do anything once she closes the ticket , I missed on my loyalty rewards. She asked me to scan QR code on receipt which was to download app. Apparently she does not know what she is saying, not only that I asked bagels to be toasted she said they don’t do it fir bakers dozen and there was nobody waiting , other nice guy offered to do it and took care of my request. Either you train the employees like Anissa to provide better customer service or get rid of them , very disappointed,.

I just came with my husband and repeatedly (3 times) asked for light (half slice of cheese) on our bagel to only come home and see a full slice. This location is also not very friendly and repeatedly doesn’t take orders correctly. Love eating here but am always turned off by the lack of comprehension by the people working

The food is good. It's the service that brings my review down. It's a long wait. And 1 time I ordered ahead, came on time, waited for 30min, and then they told my they were out of my bagel. By this time I'm trying to get to work. I have this location another chance today and my food was not warm. I think the staff needs more training. I don't know. I was excited when this location opened. But I think I'm done coming here. The people are super nice but the service needs work.
the pics down below are the same bagel sandwiches (maple house egg sandwich). the only difference is where i got my bagel sandwich from. the last two pics were from this location. they reduced the proportions to where there was barely any bacon or the spread. they even forgot the cheese in my sandwich. i’ve ordered from this location before and it was good the first time i was here. it was probably because it was 9am. my advice is to never come here after 12pm because they will start giving you scraps. the bagel for this sandwich wasn’t the same as the initial bagel because they said they ran out so i gave them some grace for that but everything else made me extremely upset. this was not something i want to see during my menstrual cycle. thankfully, they gave me my refund but from the looks of some of the reviews here, the way they make their food seems like a constant issue. i won’t be coming back to this location. the one in downtown houston is way better than this location. that’s where i got the first pic maplehouse egg sandwich from. i also want to add that the wait time here was ridiculous. i waited 30+ minutes in drive thru for my meal. when i arrived to the window, it was when they started making it. i ordered online 40 minutes prior. it’s ridiculous
One SLICE of fish. ONE. Called manager to ask why there’s only one piece of fish. They says it’s pre portioned as 2 ounces. NOPE. Not even one ounce. This place has become awful. Refund requested. Do not waste your time here, it keeps getting worse and worse. The manager was kind and offered to make us another, however the inconvenience of being late to work isn’t worth it. Only writing this because this is now the new standard as it’s the second time. I assumed last time it was a weekend which caused them to be busy.
Worst service and food. Got a bacon egg and cheese and they forgot the bacon. When I told them, no apology and the girl gave me a bag with cold bacon and look under cooked. No manager and no apology. I don’t recommend this location and will never be back. Corporate doesn’t even have this location to make a complaint.
This is an absolute mockery of Einsteins bros bagels and should be ashamed to even be carrying the name. The level of incompetence throughout the whole staff hired here currently is honestly unbelievable. I hate to make bad reviews and only try to review when I really enjoy a place but this is un-acceptable. The people making the bagels have absolutely no idea what they are doing and and have messed 8/10 bagels I’ve received. The first 2 were the only correct ones on the first or second day of opening. I would be embarrassed with what you’re presenting to this community that’s been waiting for this place to open. P.s you guys owe me some shmear at the least. And this last sandwhich was an all nighter but with sausage instead of bacon, just look at it :(
I ordered a chorizo breakfast burrito and it came with sausage patties and i guess chorizo or hot sauce? It has less than no flavor, sloppily put together, a hint of spice, hardly any hasbrowns, this is very disappointing for $7.

This was our second time giving this location a chance and it’s the worst one I’ve been to in all of Houston. The food also made me sick and the young kids making the food don’t seem to take quality seriously. The tomatoes and spinach in my sandwich were spoiled and the food wasn’t even ready by the allotted online order time. I also paid extra to add cheese to my sandwich and it was missing but I didn’t notice till I got home with my to go order. I doubt we will be back considering nothing has changed from our visit months ago.

In order to avoid any problems or confusion with my order, I actually drove to this Einstein location yesterday on my lunch hour. I ordered 8 sandwiches & chips combos, 2 of which were pizza bagels. I asked the Manager to pack them in bags 1 sandwich and 1 chip per bag. I paid in full $72.44. My instructions to Manager was for an 8:45am pick up this morning for a corporate meeting at my office. I arrived right at 8:45am. In short, I was in a rush and did not have time to check my order, but I after getting to work I only was given 5 sandwiches and 2 pizza bagels, no chips and all were thrown in a bag and not labeled, so we didn't know which sandwich is which without opening each one. Ugh. This is my first and last time to buy from Einstein bagels. Train your people to follow the customer's instructions and give us what we paid for. I'd like a refund because I feel cheated and robbed. No good. -Corporate businessman- 10/14/25 After speaking to Richard, the location Einstein Bagels (EB) Mgr., who both provided a sincere apology and full refund of my purchase, I have received a receipt for that full refund. Well done EB, as a legal manager for my corporation I hold regular department meetings that I bring food/drinks for my staff. EB shows what it means to care for its customers and listen and fix shortcomings. I highly recommend visiting EB to be well taken care of. Thanks once again Richard and the hard working EB team. -CL-
Here’s my updated review. I am beyond done with this Einstein Bros location. Every single time I order from here, they mess up my order without fail. Last time they messed up my order and the guy and the counter was trying to flirt with me !? Today was the last straw. I placed my order through DoorDash, then called twice to make sure they got it right. Not only did I receive the wrong food, but when I called back, the employee who answered had a nasty attitude. He insisted he “made it himself” and there was “no way” it was wrong even though I was literally holding the wrong order in my hands. When I went up there to fix it, he had the nerve to tell me to “calm down.” Why would I be calm when you messed up my order, gave me attitude, and admitted fault? And even after all that, when they finally handed me “the corrected food,” it was STILL wrong. At this point, the entire staff, especially the general manager who clearly allows this nonsense needs to be fired and replaced. This location is consistently incompetent, dismissive, and unprofessional. I understand it’s high schooler working there but if you can’t manage high schooler you don’t deserve to be a manager. Learn to take fault instead of being dismissive. This is utterly ridiculous. Oh and top of all of that!! Refused to give me the corporate email because “I don’t need that” if you weren’t in the wrong you’d give me the email and go about you’re day but they know they’re wrong. Ridiculous
The food here is actually good, but the customer service is consistently unacceptable. It’s not just a “bad day” issue — this has clearly become a pattern, as shown in many other recent reviews. Employees act uninterested, disorganized, and at times outright rude. Orders are often slow, incorrect, or given with attitude, which completely overshadows the quality of the bagels. It’s disappointing because this shop has the potential to be excellent, but the way customers are treated makes it very hard to want to return. If corporate or management is reading this: please take these reviews seriously. People are not complaining about the food — they’re consistently pointing out the lack of basic customer service. Until there’s a real change in staff training, accountability, and management presence, this location will continue losing loyal customers.
